Acer has unveiled several new products at Computex 2025, ranging from productivity laptops to gaming monitors. Design and Display

It carries a sleek and compact design that feels both premium and practical. Acer, this time, has refined the build with an anti-fingerprint coating on the chassis, helping it stay clean and sharp even after extended use. Despite being a performance-focused machine, it maintains a minimalist look that works well in both gaming and professional environments. The Triton 14 AI 2025 weighs just 1.6 kg and measures just 17.31 mm thick, which is quite impressive.

The touchpad is another standout here since Acer has gone with a large Gorilla Glass haptic trackpad that even has native stylus support. Meaning you can turn it into a functional mini drawing tablet. And by the way, you get the stylus inside the box itself.

On the front, we get a stunning 14.5-inch OLED display with a sharp 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s Calman Verified for color accuracy and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, making it ideal for content creation and media consumption.

The panel is also touch-enabled, which is a rare bonus in gaming laptops. And Acer has paid attention to the finer details, too. There’s a 1080p IR webcam with AI-powered human presence detection, allowing the laptop to automatically lock or dim the screen when you’re away or not looking directly at it.

Performance and Storage

In terms of performance, the Acer Predator Triton 14 AI 2025 is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor in the high-end configuration. This CPU features 8 cores (4 performance + 4 efficient cores), 8 threads, a maximum turbo frequency of 5.1 GHz, and 32GB of LPDDR5X memory. And in terms of GPU, you can pair it with up to an NVIDIA RTX 5070 graphics.

Just so you know, since Acer went with Intel’s “Lunar Lake” processor for this laptop, you won’t be able to upgrade memory afterwards. The storage is still upgradable, though, and the Triton 14 AI can take up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

The Predator Triton 14 AI 2025 uses Acer’s 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D Fans, featuring ultra-thin 0.05mm metal blades that boost airflow efficiency by 20%. It’s the world’s thinnest fan blade design, with 100 adaptive blades that optimize cooling at high speeds. It is also the world’s first laptop to feature graphene thermal interface material (TIM), which improves heat transfer by 14.5% over traditional pastes.

A vapor chamber that evenly spreads heat to prevent hot spots is also present, while Acer’s Vortex Flow design enhances airflow with strategically placed fans and thermal foam for stable performance during intense use.

Despite being slim and portable, the Predator Triton 14 AI 2025 doesn’t skip on connectivity either. It supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard for faster and more stable wireless performance, and includes a solid selection of ports: two USB-C ports (including Thunderbolt 4), two USB-A ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card reader, and a full-size HDMI 2.1 output for external displays.
