Infinix has launched the HOT 60i in Nepal, adding another option in the budget smartphone segment. The phone features a 6.7-inch 120Hz IPS display, MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, and a 5160mAh battery with 45W fast charging. In this article, we will discuss its price, specifications in this article.

Design and Display

The Infinix HOT 60i comes with a slim 7.7mm profile and weighs around 188 grams, making it relatively easy to handle for a phone with a 6.7-inch display. The back has a glossy finish with a rectangular camera module, while the side-mounted fingerprint scanner doubles as the power button for convenience. You also get IP64 dust and splash resistance.

On the front, it features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ (720 x 1600) resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which can switch between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz based on content, while the peak brightness can reach up to 700 nits under sunlight. The screen offers a decent viewing experience for its segment, with natural-looking colors and a screen-to-body ratio of around 91% for a modern look.

Performance and Memory

Powering the Infinix HOT 60i is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset. This is an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz, paired with an ARM G52 MC2 GPU for handling graphics. This processor should be sufficient for handling regular day-to-day tasks like social media, light multitasking, and casual gaming.

In terms of memory, the HOT 60i comes in multiple configurations: 4GB or 6GB RAM variants with 128GB storage, and 4GB or 8GB RAM variants with 256GB storage. All models also support extended RAM, adding up to 8GB of virtual RAM depending on the variant. Storage type here is eMMC 5.1, and you can further expand it via a microSD card up to 1TB, using the dedicated slot.

For connectivity, the Infinix HOT 60i supports dual nano SIM with 4G LTE, along with WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC support. It also includes GPS for navigation, a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, the phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Fueling the device is a 5160mAh battery, which should comfortably last a full day of moderate use. It supports 45W fast charging, which can be helpful for quickly topping up the battery when needed. Additionally, the HOT 60i also supports reverse charging at up to 10W, allowing you to charge other devices in case of emergencies.
