Polar, a popular name in the wearable world, has just launched its very first passive wristband. The new Polar Loop is a screenless wearable, and unlike similar wearables from other brands like Whoop, this one doesn’t need any subscription to unlock your health data and other features either. So let’s jump into everything you need to know about the Polar Loop, alongside its expected price in Nepal.
Polar Loop Overview
Design and no display
As you can see, the Polar Loop looks like your normal wristband. And just like that, it also comes in a variety of colors that Polar calls “Night Black”, “Greige Sand”, and “Brown Copper”. Which can be paired with a bunch of colorful bands.
And attached to the stainless-steel band is the “advanced version” of Polar Precision Prime. The company’s optical heart rate monitoring technology. Altogether, the Polar Loop is 9mm thick and weighs 29 grams with the wristband. It is WR30 certified to withstand sweat and water splashes as well.
Moving on, the Polar Loop features a 170 mAh battery that the company says can last up to 8 days on a single charge.

Other features
This wearable is designed to track your heart rate, sleep, recovery, and daily activity 24/7 all on its own. Since it doesn’t even have a button to manually start a workout or something. And all the data recorded from the band will sync to their Polar Flow app. The Polar Loop can automatically detect your workouts as well.
More importantly, like I mentioned before, this smartwatch requires no subscription at all. So, this approach directly makes it a competitor to other bands like the Whoop band, which requires a subscription.
