Following the launch of the Moto G67 Power, Motorola has introduced the new Moto G57 in international markets as well. This new phone shares a similar design language to the G67 Power, but ships with a slightly less powerful Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip and a smaller 5200 mAh battery. So, without any delay, let’s dive into the specifications, features, and expected price in Nepal of the Motorola Moto G57.
Moto G57 Overview
Design and Display
Starting with the design, the Moto G57 ships with a silicone polymer build that Motorola likes to call “vegan leather”. It provides a soft and comfortable hands-on feel compared to most phones with a plastic back. The frames are still plastic-made, though, while this guy measures 8.6 mm thick.
Motorola has also added an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Its display is layered with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i for protection against accidental drops and scratches as well. The Moto G57 has even passed the MIL-STD-810H military tests, which means it should be able to withstand harsh environmental conditions like extreme temperature and pressure changes.
Other than this, the Moto G57 is available in four colors: Pantone Regatta, Pantone Pink Lemonade, Pantone Corsair, and Pantone Fluidity.

At the front, we are greeted with a massive 6.72-inch FHD+ screen featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. This is an 8-bit IPS LCD panel with an impressive 1,050 nits of brightness. So while we would’ve definitely appreciated an OLED panel, the Moto G57’s screen should be perfectly fine for most folks.
Performance and Software
And powering the Moto G57 is Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. Making it the very first phone to use this chip. It’s a 5G-ready chipset built on a 4nm process, although he 6s Gen 4 looks mostly similar to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 on the Moto G67 Power. Except for the slightly underclocked Cortex-A55 CPU cores.
| Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 | Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 | |
| CPU | 4x Cortex-A78 (2.4 GHz) | 4x Cortex-A78 (2.4 GHz) |
| 4x Cortex-A55 (1.8 GHz) | 4x Cortex-A55 (1.95 GHz) | |
| GPU | Adreno | Adreno 710 |

This has been paired with 4/8/12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Whereas the Moto G57 ships with Android 16-based “My UX” out of the box. That’s actually pretty impressive for a budget phone at launch, considering how most new releases from other brands still come with Android 15.

Camera setup
Getting to the cameras, we get a 50MP Sony “LYTIA” LYT-600 (1/1.95”) main sensor here with an f/1.8 aperture. This has been complemented with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP f/2.2 selfie shooter. The Moto G57 can shoot up to 2K 30 fps videos, while it also ships with some interesting features like “Magic Eraser” to remove unwanted objects from the image.
Battery and everything else
Like I mentioned in the very beginning, the Moto G57 has a 5200 mAh battery. That’s literally the only difference between this and the Moto G57 Power, which has a larger 7000 mAh silicon-carbon battery. Then again, both of them support 30W fast charging.
Audio-wise, we get stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. And surprisingly enough, Motorola is still keeping the 3.5mm headphone jack well and alive here. Other than this, the Moto G57 has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, WiFi 6, NFC, and dual SIM support. Including one nano SIM and one eSIM.
