The Acer Swift Go 14 is one of the laptops I reviewed myself, and it deserves this spot. The laptop is thin and is a productivity device that easily handles browsing the internet, editing photos, and just writing. It also comes with a dedicated NPU, which can be useful if you are generating any AI content. The laptop is suitable if you just want to play games like Valorant.

More importantly, the display is one of the best; the 2.8K OLED panel produces color-accurate images, and you get a 90Hz refresh rate. However, the battery is not up to par, but other than that, it is an excellent all-in-one device, mainly for students.

Finally, we have the Acer Swift 14 AI, and it is undoubtedly the best you can get. This laptop is on par with higher-end models. The display is one of the best, and it’s everything a student can ask for: an OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3. There are two options for the processor: Intel Core Ultra 5 226V or Intel Core Ultra 7 256V. The Ultra 7 costs about 14 thousand more, but there is no performance difference between these processors. So it is better to stick with the Ultra 5 variant. Moreover, this laptop offers long-lasting battery life, lasting over 9 hours of use. It is an excellent laptop for students and is easy to carry.

Up next is the 2-in-1 laptop, the Lenovo Ideapad 5, which is a great ultrabook you get at this price. However, the ARM-based Snapdragon X Plus chip powers this laptop. And we know that the ARM version of Windows does not support all the apps due to the difference in architecture. Nevertheless, this processor is completely fine for running your day-to-day apps. If you have any kind of specialized programs or files, it is always a good option to check the compatibility of Apps on the Windows on ARM website. Over time, things are getting better for laptops with this chip.

Moreover, this laptop features an excellent display, and its 360-degree form factor is ideal for art and engineering students. The Lenovo Ideapad 5 is also great if you care about battery life. And the display is an OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3.

HP Omnibook X Flip (Ryzen AI 7 350 / Ultra 7 256V)

Another 2-in-1 laptop, the 2025 HP Omnibook X Flip, is a strong choice. This laptop also made an appearance in our Best Laptops for Content Creators guide and for good reasons. Coming to the performance, there are two options: you can either opt for the Ryzen variant with the Ryzen AI 7 350 or the Intel variant with the Intel Ultra 7 256V. Both of these are great processors for daily tasks, as well as light to mid-level editing, writing, and more. The Intel variant offers less RAM than the AMD variant and costs more.

However, given the price, the display does not meet expectations. It supports multi-touch, but it covers only 62.5% of sRGB, which is below average for a laptop of this caliber.

The Acer Nitro V16 AI with the latest RTX 5050 graphics card or the Acer Nitro V15 with the RTX 4060. The RTX 4060 laptop's processor is not as powerful as others on the list, but the card is still powerful compared to newer RTX 5050 cards. Still, the Acer Nitro V15 is an excellent laptop for gaming and other power-hungry tasks. Its main downside is the less color-accurate display with just 45% NTSC coverage.

The Nitro V 16 AI is powered by the more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 260 paired with the RTX 5050. Similarly, we are also getting a more color-accurate display as well as a higher refresh rate. The battery life is also better compared to the V15, but at the end, both of these are gaming laptops, so don’t expect a crazy battery life.
