iQOO 9T Overview:

Design, Display

The iQOO 9T boasts a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED flat screen with FHD+ resolution. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz but does not support LTPO backplane technology for auto-adaptiveness of frame rate based on content on the screen. Yet, you can watch HDR content since the display has HDR10+ certification and can reach brightness levels of up to 1500 nits.

Some other features include 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and 10-bit color depth. The 1200Hz instant touch sampling rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate give the phone an edge in games.

It has a dual-tone finish on the back with a carbon fiber texture on the top. It is available in two color options: Alpha and Legend.

Performance

In terms of performance, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It’s Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line SoC for 2022, with a performance gain of up to 10% above the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

iQOO 9T - Performance

This makes the 9T the most powerful smartphone in the iQOO 9 series. Memory-wise, it will be available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Moreover, it comes equipped with a large vapor chamber of 3930mm2 that ensures efficient cooling of the device. You also get a Vivo V1+ chip which aids in image processing as well as display optimization. Remember that this is the same chip that was used in the Vivo X80 series.

The phone also offers enhanced LPDDR 5 and UFS 3.1 performance. It allows for up to 86% sequential write speed and the 6400Mbps RAM improves speed by 16.3%.

Camera

The iQOO 9T flaunts a triple camera setup on the back. Leading the camera system is a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor with OIS. The 13MP ultra-wide camera is also capable of macro shots. And, the third camera is a 12MP Sony IMX663 lens with 2X zoom. A 16MP sensor housed in the front punch-hole is responsible for selfies and video calls.
