iQOO has just launched its latest mid-range phone in China, dubbed Neo 6 SE. It’s the toned-down version of the Neo 6 that was announced last month. In this article, we will be discussing the key specs, features, expected price, and availability of the iQOO Neo 6 SE in Nepal.

iQOO Neo 6 SE Overview:

Performance and Memory

The biggest difference between the vanilla Neo 6 and the SE variant lies in the performance. While the former is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the latter swaps it for an older yet capable Snapdragon 870.

To maintain sustained performance for a longer period, iQOO has included a five-layer graphite heat dissipation structure with a surface area of 36907 sq. mm. As for memory, the phone is available with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Design and Display

It’s hard to distinguish the iQOO Neo 6 SE from the Neo 6 from their physical appearance. Both phones sport t flat-edge design with a curved rear panel. Likewise, the massive camera island at the back is also similar across the two.

Over on the front, iQOO Neo 6 SE sports a 6.62-inch FHD+ screen with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. It is an E4 AMOLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and 10-bit color depth. Furthermore, the phone boasts HDR10+ certification, 1200Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits. It even has SGS eye care display certification.

Camera

The rectangular camera island at the back of the iQOO Neo 6 SE is home to a triple camera setup, headlined by a 64MP primary shooter, which comes with Optical Image Stabilization. There is also an ultrawide module that utilizes an 8MP sensor. Finally, there is a 2MP sensor for taking portrait shots. Over on the front, the center-aligned punch-hole cutout encloses a 16MP selfie shooter.

In addition to the 4K video capability, you can even shoot slow-motion videos at FHD using the rear setup. On the other hand, iQOO has not explicitly mentioned the video capability of the front-facing camera.

Rest of the specs

All of this is fueled by a dual-cell battery with a total capacity of 4,500mAh. As per iQOO, Neo 6 SE can go from 0 to 100% using a compatible 80W fast charger. The phone ships with Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean out of the box. Other key highlights include X-axis linear vibration motor, NFC connectivity, and stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio certification.
