Let’s start things on stronger ground with what has been more or less confirmed. The iQOO Z9 Turbo phone carries the model number “V2352A” and has appeared in CQC — a Chinese certification platform. As per the certification, the upcoming phone will support 80W of wired charging with an 11VDC/7.3A output configuration. Additionally, it also mentions the model number of the chargers — V8073L0A1-CN and V8073L0EO-CN.

Moving on, we have some leads on the performance side of things. This comes from one of the most popular tipsters on the internet — Digitial Chat Station. As per them, the iQOO Z9 Turbo will equip the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The word is that it comes in a similar architecture to the highest-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and might even outperform last year’s top-gun 8 Gen 2 by a respectable margin.

Other than that, the iQOO Z9 Turbo is expected to pack 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a storage of 1TB. Moreover, we can easily speculate that the phone will ship with the latest Android 14 for the OS with their OriginOS 4 on top.

The tipster also claimed that the upcoming smartphone from the Vivo subsidiary will pack a 6,000 mAh battery in the tank. In the meantime, it is also expected to don a 6.78-inch screen on the front with 1.5K resolution. The iQOO Z9 Turbo will have an AMOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming support.

Additionally, the primary camera on the phone will likely be a 50MP shooter which will be coupled with one auxiliary lens. The iQOO Z9 5G came with the Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS support. We will have to wait and see if the Turbo variant will also walk the same route. Hopefully, it will.

The iQOO Z9 5G launched at a more affordable price range in India. Based on that, we are speculating that the company might price the Z9 Turbo in the midrange space. Lastly, sources are saying a different edition of the Z9 along with Z9x will be launching in April. So, the iQOO Z9 Turbo might launch alongside those variants.
