Mobvoi, an AI company based in China is preparing to launch its product officially in Nepal – as soon as next week. Mobvoi: Brand Overview
Mobvoi is an AI company that primarily focuses on advanced voice integration and hardware-software integration. It was founded by ex-Googler Xhifei Li in 2012. The company now operates in over 40 different countries and regions. It offers its product and services to business and end consumers, adopting both B2C and B2B business models. Mobvoi takes pride in itself having worked with leading tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Nokia, Tencent, Baidu, and Amazon. The company powers Chinese voice search technology in Wear OS. Similarly, Mobvoi’s AI tech has also been used in Volkswagon Group China’s products.
In the consumer market, Mobvoi is known for its TicWatch line of smartwatches. Similarly, it also has a TicPods lineup of wireless earbuds, TicMirror (smart rearview camera), and TicKasa lineup of smart speakers.
Mobvoi Official Distributor in Nepal
Mobvoi has appointed Barun Enterprises as the official distributor for its product in Nepal. Barun Enterprises is a subsidiary of the Sharda Group. The right to import and distribute Mobvoi products to Nepalese consumer products is exclusive to Barun Enterprises. The company is planning to launch eight Mobvoi products in Nepal.
Mobvoi TicWatch Lineup in Nepal
Mobvoi introduced the original TicWatch to the global audience back in 2016 and managed to raise 2.1 million USD on Kickstarter. As of now, there are nine smartwatches in the lineup, including the TicWatch Pro 3 that was launched about a week ago. While it won’t be available in the initial launch, Barun Enterprises plans to make seven other models of TicWatch available during the company’s Nepal debut. Mobvoi will also be launching its audio accessories. The first Mobvoi audio accessory to launch in Nepal will be the TicPods ANC. The highlight here is the ANC lower price segment.
