A while ago, Nvidia made the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 official. Likewise, the RTX 507 Ti and RTX 5070 will be available for purchase soon, though the exact date is not sure. This has left us eagerly awaiting the details about the GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti. In this article, we will dive into the leaked specifications and potential launch date of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti.
GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti Rumors
Launch dates
According to a recent leak from Taiwanese company Chaintech, we will get to see GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti soon, likely this March. This information comes from the company’s 2025 earnings outlook, which mentions that four SKUs are scheduled to be released between January and February.

Processor and Memory
As per the leaked details, the GeForce RTX 5060 is expected to feature the GB207 GPU with 8GB of VRAM on a 128-bit memory bus. Meanwhile, the RTX 5060 Ti may use the GB206 GPU and offer both 8GB and 16GB memory variants, maintaining the same 128-bit memory bus. These rumors have surfaced from a MaxSun EEC filing, though neither Chaintech nor Nvidia have officially confirmed the information.

Competition in the market
The GeForce RTX 5060 series might compete with AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 9060 series, which (too) has not been released.

One key factor that could impact the appeal of the RTX 5060 is its memory configuration. With the Arc B580 offering 50% more VRAM, the 8GB VRAM on the entry-level RTX 5060 may struggle to meet the demands. This could make the RTX 5060 a harder sell unless the RTX 5060 Ti delivers significant performance improvements over the base model. This is all the information we have about the RTX 5060 series.
