Not long after releasing their flagship-level phone, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, which secured the top spot in DXOMARK’s camera ranking and became one of the few phones to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, the Chinese company is now preparing for a series that will come with two phones featuring almost flagship-level specifications. A new leak that has emerged on Weibo today reveals some of its specs, let’s dive in!

According to the rumors, the Reno 12’s screen could feature a 1080p resolution, while the Pro variant might offer a 1.5K resolution. Additionally, the Reno 12 series might feature a plastic frame and a glass back and are rumored to feature screens that have micro curvature on all four sides equally.

Camera and Battery

Both phones are expected to sport a 50-megapixel telephoto camera on the back, enabling 2x optical zoom for portrait shots. Furthermore, both models are rumored to house 5000 mAh of battery and support 80W fast charging.

Performance and Storage

Dimensity 9200 Plus Chipset

While, the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro were powered by the Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets respectively, the Reno 12 series is expected to run on the Dimensity 8300 and Dimensity 9200 Plus chipsets.

Oppo Reno 12 Series Launch Date and Availability
