OPPO has officially launched the OPPO A5x 4G in Nepal, expanding its A-series lineup. This new offering arrives with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 chip and a 90Hz LCD panel. Here in this article, we’ll walk through the specs, features, and official price of OPPO A5x 4G in Nepal.

OPPO A5x 4G Overview

Design and Display

In terms of design, the OPPO A5x 4G boasts a typical OPPO vibe with flat frames and rounded corners. You get an IP65 rating and MIL-STD-810H, adding to the phone’s sturdiness.

OPPO ships this guy in two shades: Midnight Blue and Laser White. Likewise, the smartphone boasts a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

Additionally, you get “Splash Touch” and “Glove Touch” tech, allowing you to use this phone with wet fingers or while wearing gloves.

Camera

Under the hood, this new OPPO phone gets its horsepower from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 processor. This 11nm fabbed SoC boasts four Cortex-A73 cores at up to 2.1GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores capable of running at up to 1.8GHz. And handling the graphics here is the Adreno 610 GPU.

It is paired with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. While the OPPO A5x 4G boots on ColorOS 15 on top of Android 15.

Vivo G3 5G announced with Dimensity 6300 and a huge 6,000mAh battery

Vivo has launched a new smartphone under its G-series, the G3 5G. It’s the successor of Vivo G2, which was lastly launched in China in January 2024. So let’s look at what Vivo has brought to the table with this new G3 5G in this article, alongside its expected price in Nepal.

Vivo G3 5G Overview:

Design and Display

Starting with design, the Vivo G3 has a couple of design upgrades across the board. It now has IP64 dust and splash resistance, and what seems to be “Aura Light” that we’ve seen on Vivo’s “V” series phones. Although here, it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Like most Vivo phones these days, the G3 also received SGS five-star drop-resistant certification, by the way. And in terms of security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint reader here.

But getting to the display, Vivo still went with an IPS panel here with a waterdrop notch, an HD resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate like last year. The only piece of upgrade is that this screen now measures slightly taller at 6.74 inches instead of 6.56 inches.

Performance and memory

At least the Vivo G3 has a couple of performance upgrades. It’s now powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 compared to Dimensity 6020 on G2 5G, which brings 5 – 10% performance uplift.

For memory, we get 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. But there is a catch since only the 256GB variant gets the faster UFS 2.2 storage, while the 128GB variant uses slower eMMC 5.1 storage.

Vivo G3 runs on Android 15-based OriginOS 5, although the company has not disclosed how many updates it will get.

Getting to the cameras, the Vivo G3 has a single 13MP main sensor at the back, followed by an auxiliary lens. and a secondary camera. And at the front, we get a 5MP selfie shooter.

Tecno Spark Go 5G arrives with an iPhone 17 Air-like design

Tecno just launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Spark Go 5G, in India. And it looks suspiciously similar to the leaked renders of the upcoming iPhone 17 Air. So here is everything about the new Tecno Spark Go 5G, including its expected price in Nepal.

Design and display

As I mentioned above, the Tecno Spark GO 5G has a very iPhone 17 Air-inspired design. With a rectangular camera bar that almost extends to the edge of the phone. It is also IP64 dust/splash resistant, while Tecno sells this phone in three colors: Sky Blue, Turquoise Green, and Ink Black.

Up front, you get a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. It hits a peak brightness of 670 nits, which is notably lower than some recent budget phones like POCO M7 4G (850 nits).

Performance and Battery

When it comes to performance, Tecno Spark Go 5G houses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 (6nm) chipset. Alongside 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while it runs on Android 15-based HiOS 15.

And this budget phone is packed with a lot of AI features as well. Like Tecno’s very own AI assistant, Ella. The Ella AI assistant supports different Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, and Bangla. Whereas it even comes bundled with an AI writing assistant and Google’s Circle to Search tool.

This handset brings Tecno’s “No Network Communication” feature as well. We first saw this feature on the recently launched Tecno Spark Go 2, and what it does is essentially allow Tecno users to make phone calls or send messages without cellular or WiFi service.

JBL just dropped the Boombox 4 in China, and it appears to pack some decent upgrades over its predecessor. They’re positioning this as their “flagship portable speaker” with enough power to fill any outdoor space. So, let’s dive into this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest JBL Boombox 4, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

JBL Boombox 4 Overview

Design and Portability

The Boombox 4 gets a complete redesign that’s actually 12% lighter than the Boombox 3, which is impressive considering the power bump. At 5.89 kg, it’s indeed a hefty speaker, but you also get an integrated handle, such that you can carry this around anywhere. You’re getting three color options: black, blue, and camouflage.

The dimensions come in at 506.4 x 262.9 x 212.9 mm, so this is quite big, and as mentioned earlier, it’s definitely portable but not exactly pocket-friendly. But then again, you’re not buying a Boombox for subtle background music.

Sound and power

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE is shaping up to be an interesting mid-range option, with leaks pointing to some upgrades and a few curious downgrades. The phone’s expected to launch earlier than usual, possibly as soon as September 2025. But as concerned to the previous rumors, the upcoming phone will not actually feature the Dimensity 9400 chipset and will instead opt for their own homegrown Exynos chipset. This article will discuss everything about the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, including leaks, specifications, and availability.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Overview

Design and Display

The S25 FE looks pretty much like the S24 FE and S25+, which isn’t surprising given Samsung’s design consistency lately. You’re getting a flat frame with three circular rear camera cutouts and an Infinity-O display. The lower bezel is slightly thicker, but overall it’s slimmer and lighter than the S24 FE.

At 161.3 × 76.6 × 7.4 mm and around 190-192g, it’s definitely more pocketable. The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display keeps the 1080 × 2340 resolution with 120Hz LTPO refresh rate that adapts from 1-120Hz. Gorilla Glass Victus handles protection duties. Color options include Icy Blue, Navy, Jet Black, and White. Pretty standard Samsung palette here.

Performance and Software

Some leaks say it’s getting the same Exynos 2400e from the S24 FE, while others claim a slight bump to the regular Exynos 2400. Either way, you’re looking at 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage options. One thing that caught my attention was the software situation. The S25 FE is rumored to launch with Android 16 and One UI 8, which would make it one of the first Samsung phones to ship with the latest Android version.

Camera System

The camera setup will be basically- 50MP f/1.8 main with OIS, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and 8MP f/2.4 telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front camera sits at 12MP f/2.2. Nothing groundbreaking here, but it should handle most photography needs fine.

Battery

Okay, so the battery situation is all over the place in these leaks. Some sources claim 4,900mAh with 45W wired charging, while others say 4,500mAh with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. There’s even talk that the battery might be smaller than the S24 FE’s 4,700mAh unit.

We don’t know which leak is accurate, but 45W charging seems consistent across reports. IP68 rating is confirmed though, so water resistance is covered.

Display and Design

You’re getting a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate and the screen peaks at 670 nits brightness. One thing that caught my attention was the fact that they switched from a punch-hole to a selfie notch design compared to the 4G version. Another thing about the design aspect, is that they have now flipped the camera module by 90 degrees, which now resembles a pixel module, but with much smaller potrude. The phone comes in four color options: Shadow Blue, Sleek Black, Monsoon Green, and Plum Red. It’s got an IP64 rating too, so basic water splashes won’t kill it.

Performance and Software

At its core is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, which handles 5G connectivity without any fuss. You’re getting 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD. Yeah, 4GB might feel tight with heavy multitasking, but for the price, i don’t you can expect much.

The phone runs Android 15-based XOS 15.1 out of the box, which is surprisingly fresh. They’ve also thrown in some Infinix AI features, though we don’t know much about what those actually do yet.

Camera and Battery

You’re getting a 50MP main rear camera with a secondary auxiliary sensor, but they downgraded the front camera from 8MP to 5MP compared to the 4G model. More often than not, budget phones sacrifice somewhere, and selfie quality seems to be it here.

But here’s where they made up for it – the battery jumps to 6,000 mAh, which is 840 mAh more than the 4G version. That’s massive for a phone at this price. It supports 18W wired charging and 10W reverse charging too.
