Last year, Vivo launched the Y37 5G, and now the company has added the “c” to its home market as an affordable offering. In this article, we will discuss everything we know about the Vivo Y37c, including the specifications and expected price in Nepal.
Vivo Y37c Overview
Design and Display
Vivo has added the “c” variant of the Y37 5G to its lineup in China, targeting budget-conscious buyers. The Vivo Y37c is the Vivo Y19e in disguise. It carries a modern flat-edge design and a polished finish that, while not too flashy still looks sleek. You can pick between a gold color with a sparkly shine and a stylish Majestic Green. As for size, it measures 167.30 x 76.95 x 8.19 mm and weighs around 199 grams.
Up front, there’s a big 6.56-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. The display gives you HD+ resolution, a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, and brightness that can go up to 570 nits. It also has built-in eye protection to make it easier on your eyes during long use.
On top of that, the phone comes with an IP64 rating, so it can handle dust and water splashes. For quick access and security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone runs smoothly on Android 14 with Vivo’s OriginOS 4 on top, which feels clean and snappy.

Performance and Battery
Powering the Y37c is the Unisoc T7225 chipset, which includes two powerful ARM Cortex A75 cores and six efficient Cortex A55 cores all clocked up to 1.8GHz. Although it’s not a flagship chip, it should handle everyday tasks well. Graphics are managed by the ARM Mali G52MP1 GPU, which does the job decently for casual gaming. The phone includes 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. What’s nice here is that it supports virtual RAM too, which helps when you’re multitasking.
Another good thing is the Y37c packs a 5,500mAh battery, which is larger than what many phones in this range offer. It supports 15W charging, which isn’t super fast, but it’ll get you through the day without much worry.
Camera and Rest
For selfies and video calls, you get a 5MP front camera. On the back, there’s a single 13MP main camera with an LED flash. While it’s not a dual-camera setup, it should be fine for casual photography. Along with that, the phone supports dual SIM 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB-C port, and yes, it still includes a 3.5mm headphone jack—which is always nice to have.
