About a month ago, Xiaomi officially announced HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, marking a new chapter in the company’s operating system development. Now, they have officially published the stable rollout schedule for China. And this latest version focuses on making the system smoother, more responsive, and more intuitive for users. In this article, we’ll go over everything you need to know about HyperOS 3, including its key features and the complete list of devices eligible for the update.
Xiaomi HyperOS 3 (Android 16) is here
The president of Xiaomi Group Partner and Mobile Phone Division, Mr. Lu Weibing, said that HyperOS 3 is now a new starting point of Xiaomi’s operating system development. This fresh phase focuses on making the system smoother, more responsive, and more intuitive for its users.
What is new in HyperOS 3?
Xiaomi says its latest take on Android has some significant optimization in terms of performance as well. Besides smoother animations across the system, HyperOS 3 reportedly reduces app load time by 21%.
Gamers can expect an even better experience here with 15% better 1% low fps and 9% lower power draw as well.
The new Super Island
Besides all those under-the-hood optimizations, HyperOS 3 brings a lot of iOS-inspired features too.
Like Xiaomi’s take on Apple’s Dynamic Island, called “Super Island”, which offers contextual information about real-time app activities. But unlike iOS, Super Island remains active in the notification panel as well.
Whereas HyperOS 3-powered smartphones will work a lot better with different Apple devices, too. You will be able to run your Xiaomi phone’s app directly on your iPad or MacBook, and even share images and sync notifications between your Xiaomi phone and an iPhone.
Other changes
Xiaomi has also introduced a notable visual refresh across the UI. Including redesigned app and status bar icons, and better notification organization. The company has also updated the “Dynamic Wallpaper” we first saw on HyperOS 2 (Android 15) to add more cinematic depth effects and better lockscreen customization.
The one new feature that caught my eye is HyperOS 3’s offline positioning, which should let you find supported devices when it’s offline or switched off.
Which devices will get the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 update?
Xiaomi has now officially published the stable rollout schedule for China, starting in October 2025. Here’s the complete timeline:
Chinese devices get the update first. Global rollout will follow with a short delay, and a full global device list is expected after September 24, 2025.
Honor just dropped the Play10 in Nepal, and it’s Honor’s most affordable phone in the country right now. Although given its price, this budget phone has pretty generous specs. So in this article, I will be going through everything you need to know about the new Honor Play10 (aka Honor Play 10), including its official price in Nepal.
Honor Play10 4G Overview:
Display and Design
The Honor Play10 has a 6.74-inch LCD panel with an HD (1600 x 720 px) resolution. It’s got a teardrop notch to house the front and pretty thick bezels at the bottom. At 167.7 x 77.7 x 8.55 mm and 189 grams, the Honor Play10 isn’t exactly tiny, but it’s manageable.
Honor Play10 color options
1 of 3
Starry Purple
Ocean Cyan
Midnight Black
The Play10’s “Starry Purple” color option didn’t make its way to Nepal, but it’s available in Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black finishes. Other than this, Honor’s super-affordable budget phone also gets an official IP52 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G LTE connectivity.
Performance and software
Inside, there’s a MediaTek Helio G81 (12nm) chipset with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Its storage is available up to a terabyte using a microSD card as well, although the Play10 is available in a 3/64GB configuration only in Nepal.
We’ve also seen that MediaTek chip in a couple dozen phones at this point, and we can already tell you that the Honor Play10 should handle basic social media usage and video playback. But nothing beyond that. It runs on Android Go (most likely the Go Edition of Android 15), and we’re not expecting much in terms of software updates either.
A 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera handle the photography and video call side of things on the Honor Play10. It’s powered by a decent 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging, which should last you around two days under normal use.
Honor has been aggressively pushing silicon-carbon battery tech on most of its phones, so we’re a little surprised that the Play10 is still using a traditional Lithium-Polymer battery. Maybe Si-Ca batteries don’t make economic sense on ultra-affordable phones for now.
Honor Play10 Specifications:
Design, build: 167.7 x 77.7 x 8.55 mm, 189 gm, IP52 rating
Battery: 5000 mAh with 10W charging (10W power adapter provided)
Honor Play10 Price in Nepal and Availability
In Nepal, the official price of the Honor Play10 is NPR 10,999 for the sole 3/64GB variant. You can buy this budget phone in Nepal from Honor-authorized stores across the country.

Hey folks, Dashain is nearing very soon, just about a week away. If you were looking for Dashain shopping for electronic gadgets, Samsung has brought a wonderful offer to the table. Let’s jump into this article, where I’ll discuss all the offers Samsung brings this year (2082) here in Nepal.
Samsung Dashain Offer 2082 Overview
The latest festival campaign is called “Din Dinai Dashain”, launched by Samsung Nepal. It offers daily rewards for customers who purchase Samsung smartphones or tablets from September 1 to 28, 2025.
The 4G variant was launched at the start of this month, now the Chinese smartphone giant has launched its 5G variant, which features almost identical specs but among the obvious changes are 5G connectivity and a new chipset. Now, let’s jump in this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Redmi 15C 5G, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Redmi 15C 5G Overview
Display and Design
The 5G model keeps the same large 6.9-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. The waterdrop notch is still there, holding the front camera. The phone is just slightly bigger and heavier than the 4G variant, with a thickness of 8.2mm and weighs 211 grams, which puts it on a heavier side compared to the 4G variant. It comes in three colors: Midnight Black, Dusk Purple, and Mint Green, and keeps the IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner is still in place, and the 3.5mm headphone jack hasn’t gone anywhere.
Performance and Software
The only noticable upgrade is under the hood. The Helio G81 from the 4G model is replaced by the Dimensity 6300, a 6nm chipset with two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4GHz and six A55 cores at 2.0GHz. Mali-G57 MC2 handles graphics. RAM remains at 4GB, with either 128GB or 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD. Android 15 is on board, with HyperOS 2 as a skin on top.
The rear camera stays at 50MP with an f/1.8 lens and 1080p video at 30fps. The front camera drops from 13MP on the 4G model to 8MP, also recording 1080p. The battery is still a massive 6,000mAh with 33W charging, so battery life shouldn’t be different from the 4G variant either. You’re getting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou. NFC support appears in some regions.
Redmi 15C 5G Specifications
Design, build: 173.2 x 81 x 8.2mm, 211g, IP64, side fingerprint scanner
The Galaxy A17 5G was launched in Nepal last month, and now the company, following tradition, has released the 4G variant for one of the most popular segments in the world. This phone keeps the same Helio G99 chipset as before, which is already showing its age, but it does come with a few subtle upgrades. Now, let’s jump into this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Galaxy A17 4G, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Galaxy A17 4G Overview
Display and Design
The phone packs a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, so visually its almost exact as its predecessor. But Samsung has also added Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection this time. It retains the IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, and the side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Key Island remains unchanged. The design is slimmer than the A16 4G, coming in at 7.5mm and 190 grams. And compared to the recently released A17 5G, the minor downside, as evident from its naming, is that it lacks 5G connectivity, which you’d obviously only get in the 5G variant.
Performance and Software
Inside, the phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Which, in my opinon is getting old at this point because even phones like the Galaxy A07, a lower-tier model, also feature the same chip. But it’s paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is a step up from the A16 4G’s 4GB configuration. The phone boots One UI 7 based on Android 15, and Samsung promises six years of updates. But still, for anyone hoping for a noticeable performance bump over last year’s budget models, it’s nonexistent.
Camera and Battery
The camera setup is identical to the A16 4G: 50MP main camera with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. Up front, there’s a 13MP camera. Video recording is capped at 1080p 30fps. The battery is 5,000mAh with 25W fast charging.
It has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C. Samsung also added a few small software touches like the Gemini AI assistant and Circle to Search, though these are subtle and won’t dramatically change daily use.
Security: Side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock
Connectivity: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C, GPS
Battery: 5,000mAh, 25W fast charging
Galaxy A17 4G Price in Nepal and Availability
Last year, this phone wasn’t launched in Nepal at all. But looking at its features, it shouldn’t cost more than NPR 20,000–22,000 once it arrives in the market.
Just last month, MSI unveiled their brand new MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI laptops. And now the laptops has arrived in Nepal sooner than expected. This new gaming laptop, which is packed with the Intel Core Ultra Series processor and RTX 50-series, might be the one for the gamers. So, without wasting any time, let’s dive into what it has to offer as well as the expected MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI 2025 price in Nepal.
MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI 2025 Overview
Build and display
The MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI looks exactly the same, both from the top and bottom, as the non-AI variant. We can see the RGB logo on top of the lid and also the crosshair touch near the trackpad. The keyboard includes a dedicated co-pilot button with 24 zones of RGB backlighting. The built-in HD camera is kind of a disappointment, though.
And unfortunately, we don’t see any changes regarding the display, either. This 16-inch, like its predecessor, boasts the same QHD+ resolution with a variable refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. And yes, it is an IPS LCD panel with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Nevertheless, it is still pretty good and should not make a difference when you are gaming.
Redesigned Cooling
One of the most crucial changes MSI has made is regarding the cooling for this gaming beast. This new cooling design, which is called “Cooler Boost 5,” is said to be more efficient in cooling. This design features dual fans along with five shared pipes between the CPU and GPU. Additionally, it has a larger thermal pipe diameter and also includes MSI’s exclusive thermal grease. MSI claims it can perform at its best even under heavy load gaming.
The new model also tastes the Intel Core Ultra processor. Hence, the added “AI” in the name is due to the processor’s AI capabilities from the NPU inside. As for the graphics, it will now be paired with the new RTX 50-series card.
The laptop is available in two options for the CPU and GPU. Firstly, the Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, consisting of 20 cores and 20 threads with a max speed of 5.2 GHz, is paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060. And later, the more powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX with 24 cores and 24 threads and a 5.4 GHz turbo speed, which is paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070.
The combined power of both the CPU and GPU equates to a maximum of 170W with the use of MSI OverBoost Technology. Hence, it will ensure both of the processors are using their maximum power.
Memory
Both of the mentioned variants come with 16GB of DDR5 RAM in the 8GB x2 configuration. So, if you wish to upgrade your memory, you will have to remove one of the 8-gig sticks. Nevertheless, it supports up to 96 GB RAM.
As for the primary storage, it comes with 1TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD. And yes, it is upgradable with an extra M.2 SSD slot that supports Gen 5 as well.
The rest of the features
For connectivity, we get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. There are two 2W speakers for audio output with a headphone combo jack. Moreover, you get one Thunderbolt 4 port with a couple of Type A ports as well. If you prefer to game on an external monitor, you can plug in an HDMI 2.1 cable, which is capable of 8K resolution but at 60 Hz; for 120 Hz, you have to switch to 4K.
Keeping the laptop alive is the 90 Wh 4-cell battery, which is charged via a 240 W adapter. If you are engaged in long gaming sessions, I recommend you plug in the power supply at all times.
Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX (20C/20T), 5.2 GHz max boost
Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (24C/24T), 5.4 GHz max boost
Graphics:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU
Memory: 16GB DDR5-6400 (8GB x 2 configuration), 1TB PCIe NVMe Gen 4 SSD
Ports: 1x Thunderbolt 4, 3x USB Type-A, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x Headphone Combo Jack
Battery: 90 Wh 4-cell (charges via 240W AC Adaptor)
Webcam: HD (720p) with camera shutter
Audio: Dual Speaker
Keyboard: 24-Zone RGB Gaming Keyboard
Touchpad: Windows Precision touchpad
MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI 2025 Price in Nepal and Availability
Like we said earlier, the MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI 2025 has arrived in Nepal. The laptop is available for purchase from various MSI-authorized stores in Nepal, where you will get an M99 Pro gaming mouse along with an essential backpack. The official pricing of the laptop starts at around NPR 304,590 for the Core Ultra 7 variant, while the more powerful Core Ultra 9 costs NPR 346,500.
