The XPS lineup is renowned for its ultracompact and modern profile and the new XPS 13 Plus is no exception. It features an all-aluminum premium-feeling build. Despite that, the ultrabook only weighs about 1.26 kg and measures 0.6” at its thinnest point. The newer XPS carries the design language from its predecessor with the ‘Zero-lattice’ keyboard and invisible trackpad. While that makes the device look minimal and futuristic, it may take some getting used to.

As for the display, Dell offers three different resolutions: FHD+, 3.5K, and UHD+. The base FHD+ (1920×1200) and UHD+ (3840×2400) panels are IPS displays while the 3.5k (3456×2160) that has made its way here is an OLED one. The 13.4” touchscreen refreshes at 60Hz and can hit up to 400 nits of brightness. It features minimal bezels with the 720p  webcam (with Windows Hello) housed up top. 

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the new XPS 13 Plus (2023) is up to “2x more powerful” according to Dell. It features Intel’s 13th Gen Core i7-1360P processor. This 12-core (4P + 8E) 16-thread processor boasts base and boost frequencies of 3.70 GHz and 5.0 GHz, respectively. The CPU is paired with Intel’s integrated Iris Xe graphics which has a slighter higher clock frequency than last year. (96EU @ 1.5 GHz vs 96EU @ 1.4GHz).

Moving on to the memory, Dell offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 6000 MT/s but only the 16GB variant is currently available in Nepal. Alongside, that you can choose for up to a 2TB M.2 SSD.

Along with the Nord 5 series, OnePlus has introduced its newest affordable tablet, the OnePlus Pad Lite, in Europe and the United Kingdom. The Pad Lite aims to deliver a seamless and captivating entertainment experience without breaking the bank, featuring an 11-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD, Helio G100 CPU, quad speakers, and an optional LTE connectivity. Samsung just dropped the Galaxy Z Fold7, and it’s the biggest upgrade to their foldable lineup in years. After playing catch-up with Chinese brands, Samsung’s finally striking back with a device that’s thinner, lighter, and more capable than ever. This article will discuss everything about the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Design and Build Quality

The Z Fold7 appears to be a complete game-changer when it comes to design. At just 8.9mm thick when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded, it’s finally competitive with Chinese foldables like the Honor Magic V5. If you’ve held a Z Fold6, this should feel like a completely different phone.

At 215 grams, it’s actually lighter than Samsung’s own Galaxy S25 Ultra and 24 grams lighter than last year’s model. The new Armor FlexHinge uses a water droplet design with a multi-rail structure that reduces creasing while boosting durability. Samsung also went with Advanced Armor Aluminum, that’s 10% stronger and harder than before.

The cover display now rocks Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 with crystals embedded in the glass matrix for better crack resistance. The main display gets 50% thicker Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) with a titanium plate. Meanwhile, you’re still getting IP48 water and dust resistance.

The main display is now 8.0 inches — that’s 11% larger than the previous generation. Both the main and cover displays are Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits peak brightness.

The cover screen is also 6.5 inches with a new 21:9 aspect ratio. Samsung finally ditched the problematic under-display camera and went with a traditional 10MP punch-hole on the main screen. One thing more to note is the fact that S Pen support is now gone. Samsung says removing the stylus support layer helped achieve the thinner profile.

Camera System Revolution

You’re getting a 200MP main camera, the same ISOCELL HP2 sensor from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It captures 4x more detail and produces images that are 44% brighter than the previous generation.

The camera setup includes a 12MP ultra-wide with a 120° field of view and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Samsung’s new ProVisual Engine processes images faster, and Night Video now uses intelligent motion detection to separate moving subjects from still backgrounds. For selfies, there’s a 10MP camera on the cover screen and another 10MP sensor on the main display with a 100° field of view.

Performance and Software

Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which Samsung says delivers 41% better NPU performance, 38% better CPU performance, and 26% better GPU performance compared to the previous generation. You can configure it with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB storage.

The software experience is where Samsung’s really pushing boundaries. One UI 8 based on Android 16 comes with enhanced Galaxy AI features optimized for the large screen. AI Results View displays AI-generated content in Split View or Floating View, and you can drag and drop AI-generated content between apps.

Gemini Live gets multimodal AI that understands what you see, say, and do. Plus, Circle to Search now shows gaming tips exactly when you need them. Samsung’s promising 7 years of Android updates and security patches.

Creative Tools and AI Features

The Z Fold7 packs some serious creative firepower. Photo Assist can move, erase, or enlarge objects with AI precision. Generative Edit gets smarter with “Suggest Erases” that automatically detects passersby with a tap.

Audio Eraser has been upgraded to intelligently remove background noise like wind or traffic from videos. Side-by-Side Editing lets you compare original and edited images in real-time on the large screen.

Drawing Assist and Writing Assist make creative workflows smoother, and Portrait Studio can enhance pet and people photography. Honestly, it’s like having a pro-grade creative studio in your pocket.

Battery and Connectivity

The battery stays at 4,400mAh with 25W wired charging (50% in around 30 minutes), Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare for charging accessories. Connectivity-wise, you’re getting 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for dual nano SIM plus eSIM. Samsung’s also adding post-quantum cryptography to Secure Wi-Fi for better security.

Samsung just dropped three new foldables at Galaxy Unpacked 2025 — the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE. We have already discussed the other two smartphones in a separate article, hence,  the Z Flip7 is the real star of this article, which also now comes with a massive cover screen upgrade and seriously thin profile. The biggest change? That FlexWindow is now huge. We’re talking 4.1 inches of edge-to-edge goodness, up from the tiny 3.4-inch screen on the Z Flip6. And the thing is, it’s not just bigger, but also way brighter now at 2,600 nits and supports 120Hz refresh rate just like the main display The main screen grew to 6.9 inches too, making it the largest ever on a Galaxy Z Flip. Both displays use Samsung’s Dynamic AMOLED tech.

Design and Build

Design-wise, Samsung made this thing seriously thin. At 13.7mm when folded, it’s actually 1.2mm thinner than the Z Flip6. When unfolded, you’re looking at just 6.5mm thickness. They managed this by waterproofing the internal circuits instead of the whole chassis, which is pretty clever.

The whole thing feels solid despite being thinner. You’re getting Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the cover and back, plus an Armor Aluminum frame. The hinge is 30% smaller than before but supposedly more durable with high-strength materials. It’s still IP48 rated, so it can handle some water exposure but don’t take it swimming. At 188 grams, it’s actually lighter than you’d expect for a phone packing this much tech.

Performance and AI Features

At its core is the new Exynos 2500 processor (sadly no Snapdragon chip in here) built on 3nm tech. You’re getting 12GB of RAM across all models, which is a nice bump up. Plus, for the first time on a Z Flip, Samsung DeX is supported, so you can actually connect this to a monitor and use it like a computer.

Gemini Live also works directly on the FlexWindow, so you can ask questions without even opening the phone. There’s also this camera sharing feature where you can show Gemini what you’re looking at and get real-time advice.  The Now Bar shows real-time app activity right on the cover screen, and the clock actually adapts to your wallpaper by wrapping around faces or objects in the image.

Camera and Battery Upgrades

Galaxy Flip7 Display and design

Camera specs are basically the same as the Z Flip6, 50MP main shooter with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide. But Samsung improved the processing with their ProVisual Engine and Enhanced Nightography. You’re also getting 10-bit HDR video recording now.

The real win is selfie mode on the FlexWindow. Real-time filters, a zoom slider you can use one-handed, and Dual Preview so both you and your subject can see the shot. Portrait Studio can even turn your pet photos into cartoon-style shots.

Battery life was always the Z Flip’s weakness, but the 4,300mAh battery here is the largest ever in the series. Samsung claims 31 hours of video playback, which should easily get you through a full day of heavy use.

Samsung just launched the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE alongside the premium Z Flip7 and Z Fold7, in a recent event held by the South Korean company. At a cheaper price compared to the  regular Z Flip7, still packs solid specs and the same camera system. This article will discuss everything about the latest Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

The Z Flip7 FE keeps the classic 3.4-inch cover screen from the Z Flip6 instead of upgrading to the massive 4.1-inch FlexWindow on the regular Z Flip7. You’re still getting a Super AMOLED panel, but it’s smaller at 720×748 resolution and lacks the edge-to-edge design.

The main display is 6.7 inches with Dynamic AMOLED 2X tech and 120Hz refresh rate. It’s slightly smaller than the Z Flip7’s 6.9-inch screen and uses a 22:9 aspect ratio instead of 21:9. Design-wise, it’s actually pretty similar to the regular Z Flip7. At 14.9mm when folded, it’s about 1.2mm thicker than the premium model, but you probably won’t notice the difference in daily use. When unfolded, it measures 6.9mm thick.

Build quality matches the premium model with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an Armor Aluminum frame. IP48 water resistance is there too, which isn’t that great, so you will have to bit careful while playing with water.

Performance and Software

Here’s where you see the cost savings. The Z Flip7 FE runs on the Exynos 2400 processor instead of the newer Exynos 2500 in the regular Z Flip7. You’re getting 8GB of RAM instead of 12GB, with storage options of 128GB or 256GB.

Performance should still be solid for most tasks, but don’t expect Samsung DeX support — that’s exclusive to the premium Z Flip7. The AI features are mostly the same though, including Now Brief for personalized updates on the cover screen and Galaxy AI integration. Both phones run Android 16 with One UI 8, so you’re getting the latest software experience with Knox security features.

Camera System

Actually, this is where Samsung didn’t cut corners. The Z Flip7 FE has the exact same camera setup as both the Z Flip7 and Z Flip6 — a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide. The 10MP selfie camera is identical too.

You won’t get all the fancy AI camera features from the regular Z Flip7 though. The smaller cover screen means no advanced zoom slider or as many real-time filters. But FlexCam mode still works great for hands-free selfies and video calls.

Battery 

The 4,000mAh battery is the same size as the Z Flip6, which is decent but the Z Flip7 features a slightly bigger unit at 4300 mAh. Still should get you through a full day of normal use. Charging is identical across both models — 25W wired, 15W wireless, and reverse wireless charging. The adapter isn’t included, so you’ll need to buy one separately.

So what are you missing vs Z Flip7?

The main differences are the smaller cover screen, older processor, less RAM, smaller battery, and no Samsung DeX support. You also get fewer color options — just Black and White instead of the four colors available on the Z Flip7. But honestly, if you’re not obsessed with having the latest specs, the Z Flip7 FE gives you 90% of the experience for significantly less money.
