Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is reportedly just around the corner. The foldable flagship is expected to launch in summer 2025, but from what we know so far, the changes might not be as major as some were hoping for. This article will discuss everything about the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 Overview

Launch Timeline

Samsung is likely releasing the Z Fold 7 sometime in mid-2025, with the U.S. model listed as SM-F966U. If things follow the usual cycle, we’ll see it in about three months.

Performance and Software

The Z Fold 7 will ship with Snapdragon 8 Elite, a higher-clocked “for Galaxy” version of Qualcomm’s flagship chip. This is the same chip expected in the Galaxy S25 lineup. It sticks with 12GB of RAM, the same as last year. Some expected a bump to 16GB, but that seems unlikely now. The phone will boot with Android 16 layered with One UI 8.

Display and Design

You’re getting a 7.6-inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED main display at 2160 x 1856 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display is 6.3 inches, same 120Hz, and covered with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The size and specs feel almost identical to last year’s Fold 6.

To be honest, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was quite a phone, although there was a fair bit of disappointment. Many felt it didn’t offer much of an upgrade over the Z Fold 5. And it seems like Samsung is repeating the same play here.

Battery and Charging

Battery capacity stays at 4400mAh. Charging remains 25W wired and 15W wireless. No visible effort to push beyond that.

Camera Setup

Rear setup will likely include a 50MP main, a 10MP telephoto (3x optical zoom, 66mm) and a 12MP ultra-wide. The inner screen still has a 4MP under-display selfie camera. Same hardware, as far as we can tell.

Foldables Aren’t Just Samsung Anymore

But Samsung is no longer alone in this space. The foldable scene is packed now. Honor makes what’s currently the slimmest foldable. Oppo’s Find N5 made serious noise this year with its compact form factor. And Pixel Fold was praised everywhere for its usability and camera. So while Samsung helped shape the category, the competition has caught up—and in some areas, even pulled ahead.

This makes the Fold 7 feel even more underwhelming. At a time when competitors are pushing boundaries, Samsung seems to be playing it safe.

Motorola has unveiled a new laptop today. Yes, you heard that right. The smartphone maker has launched the Moto Book 60 in India, exclusively. Without further ado, let’s head straight into the specs, features, and expected price of the Motorola Moto Book 60 in Nepal.

The design of the Moto Book 60 follows the Pantone color theme as in Moto phones. It arrives in two shades: Bronze Green and Wedge Wood, termed “All-New Mood With All-New Hues.” As for the weight, it’s a lightweight machine, weighing just 1.38kg. Motorola has officially launched the Moto Pad 60 Pro in India. It’s essentially a rebrand of the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro, which made its debut in the country last month. In this article, we’ll take a look at the Moto Pad 60 Pro, including all its features, specifications, and its expected price in Nepal.

Design and Display

The Moto Pad 60 Pro features a clean, minimalist design with a sturdy aluminum body with a matte finish. Its single 13MP rear camera sits neatly inside a rectangular housing, while Motorola offers it in a single “Bronze Green” color option. This tablet is also IP52 rated against dust and minor splashes, although it’s quite heavy at 620 grams.

On the front, it comes with a 12.7-inch LTPS LCD panel with a 3K resolution (2944 × 1840 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display delivers a sharp pixel density of 273 PPI and a peak brightness of 400 nits. Whereas you get an 8MP front-facing camera for video calls and stuff.

However, it’s worth noting that the (3a) Pro features a UFS 2.2, which is quite slow for storage compared to what we get at this price.

The camera module itself is notably prominent, featuring a 50MP wide lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. This configuration is housed in an off-center arrangement.

The Pro model also includes advanced video features like 4K@30fps and gyro-EIS for smoother footage. The 32MP selfie camera of the Phone (3a) Pro offers superior resolution compared to the Phone (3a), which has a 32MP front camera.

Samsung launches its new monster — the Galaxy M56 5G — featuring Exynos 1480

Samsung’s latest midrange smartphone, the Galaxy M56, has finally launched in India. And it comes as a slight rebrand of Galaxy A56 5G (review), but with a couple of changes here and there. So, let’s dive into the specifications, design, features, and expected price of the Samsung Galaxy M56 in Nepal in this article.

Samsung M56 Overview

Design and display

In terms of design, the Galaxy M56 continues Samsung’s clean and minimal aesthetics. The back panel has a matte finish with a subtle Samsung logo, while the camera layout consists of two prominent lenses inside pill-shaped cutouts, all arranged vertically at the top-left corner. The side frame has a metallic look with slight curves for comfort.

Measuring 7.2mm in thickness and weighing around 180 grams, the Galaxy M56 is slim and lightweight, keeping it in line with modern midrange design trends.

As for the display, the phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ panel with Full HD+ resolution. Samsung has reportedly improved brightness by 33% compared to the Galaxy M55 (review), which means the M56 now has 1,300 nits of peak brightness. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals, while the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Performance and software

Starting at 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the Galaxy M56 is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1480 chipset. It has a similar capacity as compared to the D7400 & SD 7s Gen 3. This is also the same chip we saw on last year’s Galaxy A55 (review), by the way.

For graphics, the Samsung Xclipse 530 GPU is expected to handle casual gaming and regular usage, though it may struggle with more demanding games on high settings.

The Galaxy M56 runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7. Samsung has also highlighted a couple of AI-driven tools like “Object Eraser”, “Image Clipper”, and “Edit Suggestions”.

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has officially announced the CMF Buds 2. The earbuds are now available for pre-order and will start shipping from April 18. This article will discuss everything about the latest CMF Buds 2, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications and availability.

Active Noise Cancellation and Audio Setup

The CMF Buds 2 features design almost similar to that of its predecessor. Similarly, CMF Buds 1 featured 12.4mm dynamic drivers, while the Buds 2 feature 11mm custom drivers. In addition, it supports Dirac Opteo and Nothing Ultra Bass Technology 2.0. It features hybrid ANC rated up to 48dB. The earbuds use six microphones with Clear Voice Tech 3.0. It also includes support for spatial audio.

Connectivity and Pairing Options

The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4. Furthermore, it allows dual device pairing. It also supports Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.
