GeekBench Appearance
Recently, a device with model ID “SM-M356B” appeared in GeekBench’s database. The alleged Samsung Galaxy M55 5G also carried a similar model number. Hence, it is speculated that this entry is none other than the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G.
Performance
The GeekBench listing reveals the CPU details on the phone. It shows the processor to have eight cores with four cores running at 2.00 GHz. Meanwhile, the remaining four cores are capable of peaking at 2.40 GHz. This unspecified chipset is most likely Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380.
At this point, we all know that any given M-series of phones is more or less similar to its A-series counterpart. Hence, the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G will feature the Exynos 1380 chipset that was featured in the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A54 before that.
Other than that, the listing also shows the phone to have 6GB memory while running on Android 14 OS.

The rest
The rest of the specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M35 5G have not been outed so far. So, it will just be guesswork based on the fact that the A-series and M-series phones share similarities.
Starting with the screen, this unreleased Samsung phone will likely feature the same 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The last-generation M-series phone had the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. So, this time around the Galaxy M35 5G might go the same route as the Galaxy A35 and get the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection up front.
In the meantime, considering the changes between the lower Galaxy M15 5G and the Galaxy A15 5G, we think this phone might deviate from its A35 counterpart in design and battery. This means that the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G might not feature the “Key Island” or the Infinity-O display while opting for a larger 6,000 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy M35 5G Price and Availability
The latest Samsung Galaxy A30 and A50 series entries launched at the same time. So, we are expecting both the M-series of phones to do the same as well. However, when will it launch exactly is still unknown. And neither are there any words regarding that. Similarly, in terms of pricing, it should go for slightly lower than their A-series siblings.
