The “Nord” series of phones is OnePlus’ midrange offering that comes with an attractive set of specs at an affordable price. The company launched Nord 3 last year and the OnePlus Nord 4 is launching soon with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. Let’s look into all the rumours related to the OnePlus Nord 4 in this article.
OnePlus Nord 4 Rumours Round-up
As usual, OnePlus is going to rebrand its Ace phone for the upcoming Nord 4. This time, it is the OnePlus Ace 3V which will debut as the OnePlus Nord 4.
Design and Display
As it’s very likely to be the OnePlus Ace 3V rebrand, the design side of things will bear identical ties. So, the phone will have a flat middle frame coupled with a slightly curved glass back. On the front, the phone will boast extremely thin bezels to meet the 2024 standards. Moreover, Silver will be one of the colours the phone will ship in.
Other than that, in terms of screen, the OnePlus Nord 4 will come with a 6.74-inch OLED panel that stretches 1.5K in resolution while offering 120Hz in refresh rate. It will also support 1100nits of High Brightness Mode (HBM) and 2150nits of peak brightness.

Camera
As for the optics, the Nord 4 will house a dual camera setup. It will comprise a primary 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide shooter. No useless depth and macro combo this time. Meanwhile, for selfies, you’ll find a 16MP shooter embedded in the hole-punch cutout.
Performance and Battery
The OnePlus Nord 4 will pack the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset under the hood for its performance. Talking of this processor, it is an Octa-core silicon with one prime Cortex-X4 core at 2.8GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.6GHz, and three Cortex-A520 cores at 1.9GHz. To compare, this chipset provides flagship-level performance, having comparable benchmark scores with the last-gen Titan Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Additional rumoured hardware includes 12/16GB of memory coupled with 256/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Powering the phone will be a sizeable 5500mAh cell with 100W wired fast charging support. While the software side will be handled by OxygenOS 14 built on top of Android 14.
OnePlus Nord 4 Launch and Availability
Pinpointing at what date the upcoming Nord phone will launch is still under the curtains. However, if history is an indicator of the future then the OnePlus Nord 4 should go live in July 2024. This is because the OG Nord, the Nord 2, as well as the Nord 3 were unveiled in July. So, based on the same logic the price should also land between USD 500–600.
But since OnePlus is defying trends with the naming scheme then we can expect them to do so with the release and price as well.
