JBL recently launched its Authentics speaker series that included three members in India. Meanwhile, a few offerings from the company made their way into our country as well. In this article, we will discuss both the JBL Partybox in greater detail including their price in Nepal.

JBL PartyBox Overview

As I mentioned earlier, there are two offerings under the JBL PartyBox namesake. The first one is “Club 120” and the other is “Stage 320”.

Design

Aesthetically, both the JBL PartyBox look identical to one another. Given that, they come in a cuboid shape with curved edges. On the front, you can see two circles where the woofer sits and is surrounded by “Lightshow” which is basically RGB lighting. Additionally, these speakers also boast an IPX4 rating and offer a decent amount of water resistance.

JBL PartyBox Design

While JBL PartyBox Club 120 and Stage 320 may look similar, they have different dimensions. The former measures 570 mm in height and weighs 14.10 kilos. In the meantime, the latter stretches an extra 100 mm in height and weighs over 16 kg. Similarly, they also have different types of handles as the Club 120 has a folding one and the Stage 320 comes with telescopic collapsible handles. Moreover, the larger of the two has wheels on its back for easier portability.

Audio and Features

For audio, both the JBL PartyBox feature two woofers and two tweeters. The woofers and tweeters on the JBL PartyBox Stage 320 are 6.5 inches and 25mm respectively. Contrarily, the company shies away from mentioning the sizes of the sound internals on the JBL PartyBox Club 120. Likewise, the former is capable of 160W and the latter comes with 240W output while both of them are equipped with the AI Sound Boost feature.

The smaller of the two speakers comes with Bluetooth v5.3 while the larger one comes with Bluetooth v5.4 while both the JBL PartyBox offer a Multi-point connection. Furthermore, they also support Auracast, which allows one to connect to another JBL speaker to create a stereo effect. They also accept dual mic and guitar inputs all while featuring an AUX and a USB Type-A port. You can fine-tune these speakers and access additional controls via the JBL PartyBox app.

Playback and Charging

In terms of playtime, the JBL PartyBox Club 120 can last you 12 hours and Stage 320 pushes the number to 18 hours. When these speakers run out of juice, you can either plug in for 10 minutes to get over an hour’s worth of playtime or simply swap out the battery.
