Insta360 launches New Link 2 and Link 2C webcams with AI noise cancellation

Insta360 has introduced two new models in its webcam lineup: the Insta360 Link 2 and the Insta360 Link 2C. The Link 2 is the direct successor to the original 2022 model, while the Link 2C offers a more compact and budget-friendly alternative by removing the gimbal. In this article, we will discuss everything about the latest Insta360 Link 2 and Link 2C, including its expected price in Nepal.

AI Noise Cancellation and Camera

A key feature of both models is AI-powered noise reduction, which enhances audio quality by reducing background noise. Additionally, the webcams include several audio profiles such as Voice Focus, Voice Suppression, and Music Balance, catering to different user needs.

Moreover, the Link 2 and Link 2C are equipped with a 1/2” sensor, improving low-light performance. They also feature HDR, preserving details in shadows, and a DSLR-like bokeh effect thanks to the f/1.8 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). Both models can record 4K video at 30fps and support horizontal and vertical orientations, including 4K Portrait Mode.

Controls and Mounts 

Both webcams use AI-based tracking to keep users in the frame during presentations or video calls.  Insta360 has also introduced Group Tracking mode, allowing the camera to follow multiple people. Users can also control the camera with hand gestures to start/stop tracking, zoom, or activate features like Smart Whiteboard Mode.

Insta360 has added a magnetic mount to both models, allowing them to be easily attached to metal surfaces. They also feature a 1/4” tripod mount for traditional setups. Furthermore, they offer a Smart Whiteboard Mode to keep whiteboards in focus and a DeskView Mode for overhead presentations. The Link 2 adds a 2-axis gimbal for smoother tracking and includes a Privacy Mode that points the camera down when not in use.

Insta360 Link 2 and Link 2C Price in Nepal and Availability

The Insta360 Link 2 and Link 2C are now available globally through the Insta360 store, Amazon, and select retailers abroad. In the US, the Insta360 Link 2 is priced at USD 200, while the Link 2C is available for USD 150. If it ever makes it here, we expect to cost no less than NPR 29,999 and 24,999 respectively.
