Lava has launched its new budget-friendly gaming smartphone, the Lava Play Ultra 5G. This is the company’s new release after the recent “Blaze AMOLED 2″, and some of its highlights include a 5,000 mAh battery and a Dimensity 7300 chip. So, without any delay, let’s dive into the features, specifications, and expected price in Nepal of the Lava Play Ultra 5G.
Lava Play Ultra 5G Overview:
Design and Display
The Lava Play Ultra 5G looks inspired by the iQOO 13 (review) with a similar “porthole” camera housing. It comes with an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, and is available in “Arctic Slate” or “Arctic Frost” color options.
On the front, we are greeted with a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a fast refresh rate of 120Hz. Lava has used a flat AMOLED panel here with 1,000 nits of peak brightness. We also get an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Performance and Memory
The Play Ultra 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with 6/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. That Dimensity 7300 chip comes with four Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores, and is great for mid to low-level gaming.
In terms of software, the Lava Play Ultra 5G comes with Android 15 out of the box. And what’s interesting is that Lava says it doesn’t ship any ads, bloatware, or unwanted apps on this phone. Lava has also promised two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates on the Play Ultra 5G.
