We generally expect OnePlus to deliver top-notch products. However, they failed a BIG time to do so with the OnePlus Watch — letting down all the public expectations and hype behind the product. It seems the company went back to the drawing board and is finally prepared to make right their original shortcomings with the OnePlus Watch 2.
OnePlus Watch 2 Rumours Round-Up
The OnePlus Watch 2 recently appeared with the model number “OPWWE231” on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) — a certification site in India. Along with the model number, we also have some rumoured specifications of the upcoming OnePlus smartwatch. Firstly, the OnePlus Watch 2 will reportedly feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1. It is tailor-made for wearable devices and as a result, offers them incredible performance.
Furthermore, it will more than likely come with a rounded design and an AMOLED screen similar to its predecessor. On the other hand, sources are speculating that OnePlus will ditch the RTOS-based custom software this time around. Meaning, the OnePlus Watch 2 will finally feature the celebrated Wear OS by Google. This will give the latest smartwatch access to a wide range of Android features, and apps from the Play Store.
