Soundcore Sport X20 review: Super good for gym goers and others too!

0

Soundcore by Anker has become a well-received audio brand all around the world. Thier recent release, the Soundcore X20 is a pair of sport earbuds which costs 16,999 rupees. And I have used these earbuds for like two weeks and honestly, it surprised me in a pretty good way. More on the Soundcore X20 review.

Soundcore Sport X20 Review

Sporty Design and Fit

First up, the design of the Souncore Sport X20 is as the name implies— “Sporty”. For better grip and fit, it features a hook design that goes in pretty nicely and well for sport and gym enthusiasts. And don’t worry about the hook not fitting your ear, you can actually extend it by 4mm and rotate it by 30-degrees. But one thing, I don’t really fall into the “Gym” category, nor do I call myself a couch potato, but the Sport X20 never fell off while I did some casual running or a fun instance, chased by a dog.

Just that, the White shade I have can get dirty pretty easily, thanks to the dusty KTM air and my sweats. But that too is well handled by its IP68 rating. So, if you are really looking forward to getting one, you can go with the Black version, which should hide the dirt well.

Superb Audio

As a Soundcore product, my expectations were on the higher side, given how their premium Liberty TWS perform for their price. And it did quite well. By default, the audio feels energetic with 3D surround sound. I then ran a hearing test that took around 3 minutes and it became even better. I must say, the Soundcore Signature HearID technology works well for a personalized sound profile. Furthermore, the noise cancellation is also strong while you can long tap on either side of the bud to change the mode to Ambient and Normal.

Soundcore Sport X20 Fit

And thanks to the six microphones, call quality was superb whether I was in a considerably crowded area or chilling in my room. Seems like the AI algorithm is also contributing on this side. So, I can say it does sound premium for a premium kinda price tag.

Battery Life and Others

Moving on, the battery life is also great on the Soundcore Sport X20. The official site claims a whopping 12 hours of backup on normal mode, but on practical usage, it can easily go on for 6 plus hours. Besides that, it runs on Bluetooth 5.3 and also supports multipoint connectivity. So, I felt pretty handy to switch back and forth between my smartphone and laptop.

Soundcore Sport X20

Soundcore Sport X20 Conclusion:

Alright folks, although the price tag of 16,999 rupees seems a little way out of budget for most guys, the Sport X20 is actually worth the price. It delivers a well-rounded experience for fitness enthusiasts and casual users alike. Its sporty design ensures a secure fit, and the adjustable hooks add versatility. While the white variant may pick up dirt easily, the IP68 rating makes cleaning effortless. In terms of audio, the Sport X20 impresses with energetic sound, personalized tuning via HearID, and ultra-strong noise cancellation. Call quality is also excellent, thanks to the six-mic setup and AI enhancements.

Soundcore Space One launched in Nepal with Hi-Res audio

Anker has launched the Soundcore Space One headphones in Nepal. These headphones offer up to 98% noise cancellation with adaptive noise cancelling technology. Let’s dive into the specs, features, and official price of the Soundcore Space One in Nepal.

Soundcore Space One Overview

Design and Comfort

Although I haven’t tried them yet, the Soundcore Space One headphones seem very comfortable. Being a midrange headphone, this device has a leatherette headband, which is something we usually find in flagship headphones. Moreover, the headphone comes with ear cups that rotate by 8 degrees. They’re lightweight, weighing just 265 grams, and come with a travel pouch for easy portability. You can choose from Jet Black, Sky Blue, and Latte Cream colors.

Space One Design

Audio Quality

The Soundcore Space One provides pretty good audio performance. The company claims it reduces noise twice as much as the Soundcore Life Q30 headphones. It comes with 40mm drivers, giving you a detailed and crisp sound. Moreover, the device is said to reduce the noise by 98% with adaptive noise cancelling. However, this has been tested by Soundcore under laboratory conditions, so I am quite skeptical if it will perform the same in the real world. The headphones also offer 5 adjustable transparency levels to fine-tune how much ambient sound you want to hear.

Soundcore Space One features

Additionally, the headphones are TCO-certified for sustainability, which means they meet high environmental standards. For calls, the 3 built-in microphones use AI to improve the experience. Plus, it supports Hi-Res Wireless Audio with LDAC for more detailed sound compared to standard Bluetooth codecs. You can also customize the EQ, and the device will create a sound profile tailored to your hearing.

Battery and Connectivity

The Soundcore Space One offers great battery life. With ANC on, you get up to 40 hours of playtime, and with ANC off, it lasts 55 hours. A quick 5-minute charge gives you 4 hours of playtime. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 and SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs for connectivity.

Additional Features

The headphones feature an Easy Chat function that you can trigger by tapping or talking. Tapping the left earcup activates it, and it stops as soon as you remove your hand. It also has Wearing Detection, which allows the headphones to adjust to how you wear them.

Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro in Development: What We Know So Far

0

Xiaomi is reportedly working on the 15T and 15T Pro smartphones, which are set to succeed the 14T and 14T Pro models. Information about these upcoming devices has been spotted in the HyperOS 2.1 code, confirming that Xiaomi will continue its T series. Here’s what we know so far.

Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro Overview

Xiaomi 15T

Xiaomi 14T Rear Design

The Xiaomi 15T is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. It will offer a solid mix of performance and efficiency, continuing the tradition of the T series. This model is expected to target users looking for a more affordable but powerful device.

Xiaomi 15T Pro

The Xiaomi 15T Pro will likely come with a more advanced MediaTek Dimensity 9400 or 9400+ chipset. This version will offer higher performance compared to the regular 15T model. The 15T Pro would be suitable for those who need more power for demanding tasks.

Relationship with Redmi K80 Ultra

The Xiaomi 15T Pro shares its internal codename with the Redmi K80 Ultra, which is expected to be a China-exclusive device. This does not mean the 15T Pro is a rebrand, but it is expected to be based on the K80 Ultra with some changes, particularly in the camera department.

Codenames for the Devices

Xiaomi has given these devices the following codenames:

  • Xiaomi 15T: “klimt” (likely named after Austrian painter Gustav Klimt).
  • Xiaomi 15T Pro: “turner” (likely named after English painter J.M.W. Turner).

Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro Price and Availability

The expected launch for the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro is around September. As of now, there are no official price details available. However, the pricing for these devices is expected to align with previous T-series models, offering a mid-range to premium price. Availability will likely vary by region, with the Pro model expected to be more widely available compared to any potential China exclusivity for the Redmi K80 Ultra.

Samsung is working on Galaxy Buds FE 2 but will take its sweet time to launch

Last October, the company launched the original Galaxy Buds FE with premium TWS features at an affordable price, and now Samsung is planning to release its successor soon. According to the latest leak, the Galaxy Buds FE 2 is in development. In this article, we’ll discuss the leaked specifications of the Galaxy Buds FE 2 and its expected price in Nepal.

Galaxy Buds FE 2 Expected Overview

GalaxyClub reportedly discovered signs of the Galaxy Buds FE 2’s development, including the earbuds’ firmware and model number (SM-R410). This will be great news for Samsung users, especially considering the price tags of the recently launched Galaxy Buds 3 series.

Design and Audio

These buds are still in the early stages of development, so we don’t know much about them yet. That is why, at this point, we can only speculate on the features of the upcoming Galaxy Buds FE 2. The original Galaxy Buds FE had a clamshell design with an in-ear, stemless shape and a silicone tip. While this design is not completely new, it’s a bit unique, so Samsung might stick with it. However, there’s a chance they could go with a different design this time. The original Galaxy Buds FE had powerful bass, deep sound, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and Ambient Sound, so we can expect similar features in the Buds FE 2.

Samsung Galaxy Buds FE 2 expected design

Battery and Rest

Talking about the battery, the Galaxy Buds FE offers up to 8.5 hours of playback with the earbuds and a total of 30 hours with the charging case. With ANC on, you get 6 hours of playback with the earbuds and a total of 21 hours with the case. With the Galaxy Buds FE 2, we can expect improvements in battery life or at least similar features to its predecessor.

Galaxy Buds FE 2 Pricing and Availability

This is all we know about the Galaxy Buds FE 2 so far. As I mentioned earlier, we’re still in the early stages of information. Since the original Galaxy Buds FE launched in October 2023, we expect the new model to arrive around the same time. As for the price, considering the predecessor’s price of $99, the Buds FE 2 likely won’t be much more expensive than that.

Black Shark Ring 2 is launched as an affordable alternative to Samsung Galaxy Ring

The Black Shark Ring was first introduced by the company around a year ago, and now the company has launched the successor as the Black Shark Ring 2. Compared to the first offering, it is lightweight and has better battery life. It’s getting a lot of attention for being a more affordable alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Let’s dive into what makes it stand out!

Black Shark Ring 2 Overview

Design and Battery Life

The Black Shark Ring 2 has a sleeker design compared to its predecessor. It’s lighter, weighing just 4 grams (down from 5.4 grams in the original), which should make it more comfortable to wear for long periods. However, it’s still a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Ring (3 grams). For durability, it has an IP68 rating, meaning it’s dust and water-resistant.

Black Shark Ring 2 design

Battery life is another area where the Ring 2 shines. The first-gen Ring lasted up to 5 days on a charge, but the Ring 2 can last up to 10 days, beating the 7-day battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Ring as well. And with the charging box, you can get up to 90 days of usage. That’s impressive, but just for perspective, the predecessor offered up to 180 days of total battery life, so it’s still a step back in that department.

Health Monitoring and Features

The Black Shark Ring 2 improves health monitoring with features like all-day heart rate tracking, real-time sleep tracking, and precise blood oxygen monitoring. For fitness lovers, it supports multiple workout modes, including walking, running, and cycling. A cool new feature is the gesture control, where you can switch between videos just by “shaking your fingers.” It’s a neat touch, but we don’t have all the details on how it works yet. It also offers all-day step counting and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

Black Shark Ring 2 features

Black Shark Ring 2 Specifications

  • Design: Sleek, minimalist design
  • Size: Available in sizes 7 to 12
  • Weight: 4 grams
  • Protection: IP68 rating
  • Battery: 10 days on a single charge, up to 90 days with the charging box
  • Health Monitoring: Heart rate, sleep quality, and blood oxygen tracking
  • Additional Features: Gesture control, multiple workout modes, all-day step counting
  • Compatibility: Works with both Android and iOS devices

Black Shark Ring 2 Price in Nepal and Availability

Overall, the Black Shark Ring 2 seems like a solid upgrade, especially in terms of comfort and battery life. It was launched in China with a price tag of CNY 749. The device is not making its global appearance just like its predecessor. However, the expected price of the Black Shark Ring 2 in Nepal is around NPR 16,000.
