Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series Overview

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 series consists of four members: Galaxy Book4 Ultra, two models of Galaxy Book4 Pro, and Galaxy Book4 Pro 360. The Ultra variant is the most powerful offering from this series. Now, let’s get into further detail about the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series, starting with:

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series has a slim build and has a matte finish. According to Samsung, these laptops will have recycled materials including plastics, glass, and aluminium. Hence, the Galaxy Book4 series will likely have either a plastic or aluminium frame while featuring a glass screen.

While the Galaxy Book4 Ultra will come in a single Moonstone Grey colour, the  Galaxy Book4 Pro and Galaxy Book4 360 will be available in Platinum Silver option as well. Additionally, as the name suggests Galaxy Book4 360 will be a convertible laptop with fully rotatable hinges.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Display

In terms of display, all these models will be touchscreen and feature a Super AMOLED display. Additionally, all these screens are capable of 400 nits of peak brightness, and 120% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Furthermore, they feature WQXGA+ resolution with 2,880 x 1,800 pixels alongside a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In terms of screen size the Ultra and 360 variants will come in 16-inch only, while the Pro model will offer a 14-inch option as well.

Performance

Under the hood, the Galaxy Book4 Pro and 360 will have an Intel Core Ultra 7 or Intel Core Ultra 5 (Evo Edition) with a shared Intel Arc Graphics. On the other hand, the Ultra option comes with Intel Core Ultra 9 or Intel Core Ultra 7 (Evo Edition) alongside dedicated graphics of up to GeForce RTX 4070.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Performance

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro and 360 comes with two LPDDR5X memory options of 16 GB and 32 GB. Meanwhile, the Book4 Ultra also offers a 64 GB option.

In terms of storage, the 360 and Pro variants go up to 1 TB while the Ultra doubles that at a whopping 2TB. But while the latter two have support for future expansion, the 360 doesn’t.

Galaxy Book4 series will make use of the newly added neural processing unit in the Intel processors. This has paved the path for new AI capabilities for users to enjoy. The ultrabooks will ship with Windows 11 Home.

Battery and the rest

In the battery department, all the models except for the 14-inch Pro come with a 76Wh battery. The 14-inch Pro model is limited to a 63Wh cell, mostly due to its size. While the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Ultra enjoys 140W charging, the rest have to make do with 65W. All of them enjoy USB-C PD though.
