GoPro’s newest Hero 11 Black action camera is here. Available in a vanilla option and a Creator Edition, these cameras flaunt a 27MP sensor and a larger battery than their predecessor. And in this article, we will look at the specs, features, availability, and latest price of the GoPro Hero 11 Black in Nepal.
GoPro Hero 11 Black Overview:
GoPro has not introduced any changes to the Hero 11 Black in terms of design. It shares an identical chassis with the GoPro Hero 10 Black, alongside the same GP2 processor. However, changes can be found in other departments.
First off, the GoPro Hero 11 Black has a new 1/1.9″ 27MP image sensor with an 8:7 aspect ratio. And it can film at up to 5.3K videos at 60fps. Besides, it also supports 4K 120fps and 2.7K 240fps recordings for the slow-mo freaks out there. While it brings the same TimeWarp 3.0 technology for stabilized time-lapses, GoPro has further improved video stabilization with HyperSmooth 5.0.
GoPro Hero 11 Black Creator Edition
Additionally, users can opt for the Creator Edition as well. The GoPro Hero 11 Black Creator Edition includes a Volta Hand Grip, Light Mod, Media Mod, and Enduro Battery.
Moving on, the GoPro Hero 11 Black also supports 10-bit and 8-bit recording. The aforementioned “Enduro battery” has a capacity of 1,720mAh, which GoPro claims improves the recording time by up to 38% on the Hero 11 Black. Obviously, these action cameras are also waterproof. Up to 33 feet, to be precise. And they also arrive with a sturdy build quality that can handle different environmental conditions.
The Hero 11 Black is also available with an accessories bundle. The bundle provides an additional battery, a head strap, a Handler, a quick clip, and a 32GB microSD card.

Honor recently launched two new foldable — Magic V3 and Magic Vs3, with varying hardware. In a similar fashion, the company launched two flavours of tablets as well — that too on the same day! In this article, we will blitz through both the Honor MagicPad 2 and Pad 9 Pro while also discussing their potential price in Nepal. So, here is what these tablets bring to the table.
Honor MagicPad 2 Overview
Design and Display
The Honor MagicPad 2 is the more premium option of the two and it is pretty evident from their designs too. This tablet is thinner and lighter and also has a more pronounced finish. The circular camera dial with an ovular inner cutout appears kind of weird, but different nonetheless. The Moon White colour option even has marble-like patterns running across it.
The display on the Honor MagicPad 2 is slightly larger too, at 12.3-inches. It is an OLED panel capable of four levels of refresh rate, starting at 60Hz and going all the way to 144Hz. Additionally, you are looking at a 3K display with 1,600 nits of peak brightness and 4,320Hz PWM dimming in here.
Performance and the rest
The performance of the Honor MagicPad 2 is led by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor that led the world by storm. This chip can pump out flagship numbers without actually being one. It comes with an architecture similar to Qualcomm’s top offering for 2024 and is the best semi-flagship silicon in the world. Hence, it will surely be appreciated by those looking for absolute power from their tablets.
In terms of configurations, it comes in four: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The optics on this thing include a 13-megapixel shooter and a 9MP one on the front. Similarly, it has a 10,050 mAh cell for power with 66W charging support. Despite being the more premium option, it skips a cellular variant as well. Regardless, you get dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.3 support on the Honor MagicPad 2.
Moving on to the Honor Pad 9 Pro, we get a pretty basic design with it. Though made out of metal, it has a washed-out tone to it. As a result, it doesn’t look all that compelling aesthetically unlike its higher-end compatriots. The plain ovular camera island doesn’t help its case either.
On the front, you are looking at a 12.1-inch display with seven levels of refresh rate from 24Hz to 144Hz. Though it boasts a wider level of screen fluidity, it is an IPS LCD panel. When looking at the Honor Pad 9 Pro as an independent product, the panel choice isn’t bad by any means. However, when comparing it to the Honor MagicPad 2, its screen will lack the rich colour contrast OLED screens offer.
Performance and the rest
The chipset of choice makes the gaping difference between the Honor Pad 9 Pro and the Honor MagicPad 2 very clear. It packs the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 as its primary driver. Once again, not a bad choice individually, but falls when greatly in comparison to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Though a semi-flagship offering too, it is over two years old at this point. However, it still delivers adequate power to handle demanding tasks just fine.
In the meantime, you get two memory and a single storage option on this thing. It comes with either 8 or 12 gigs of RAM coupled with 256GB storage. The primary shooter on the Honor Pad 9 Pro is a 13MP unit as well, but, the selfie camera has been cut down to 5MP. Its tank is filled with a 10,050 mAh battery and the charging speed is limited to just 35W. It obviously does not have a cellular option and wireless connectivity is delivered via WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2.
Both these tablets were launched alongside the Honor’s latest foldable offerings on 12 July 2024. The higher-end option starts at CNY 2,999 while the lesser one goes for a starting price of CNY 2,299. If these tablets go international and arrive here, we expect the starting price of the Honor MagicPad 2 and Pad 9 Pro in Nepal to be NPR 66,149 and NPR 50,999 respectively.

Elon Musk’s X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, is developing a new feature that allows users to downvote replies. The possibility of this feature being a “dislike” button is high. Let’s get deeper into this.
X is getting a ‘Dislike’ feature but …
According to recent findings, the representation by a broken heart icon (probably a dislike button), is designed by X as its added feature. This will enhance the ranking of responses in comment threads. While the company hasn’t officially announced anything, the increasing number of sightings suggests public testing may be on the horizon.
Interestingly, this is not a completely new idea. In July 2021 X came up with the idea of upvote and downvote, which later didn’t come into use. The company had named the test as a “small research experiment” so maybe the feature was designed to gather data and insights rather than to roll out a permanent function immediately.
For now, the rumors suggest that the company is considering only the downvote feature, which may resemble a dislike button. Earlier this month, a reverse engineer Aaron Perris, found clues about a downvote feature in X’s iOS app.
Here’s an image from Aaron Perris shared on X showing what the downvote button might look like as a broken heart. We can also see some details about the feature. This suggests that the platform is working on adding a way for users to dislike or downvote replies.
How it Works
The test indicates the downvoting system is only for replies, not for all posts. Its goal is to highlight better replies and move less popular or negative ones lower in the conversation. However, some findings hint at the possibility of extending this feature to all posts on the platform.
As X keeps changing, we think this new “dislike” button could shake things up on the platform. This represents another significant shift in how users interact with content online. It could serve as a tool for community moderation and potentially discouraging posts designed solely to provoke negative reactions.
