Honor 400 and 400 Pro’s full specs and design leak well before launch

0

After the launch of the Honor 400 Lite, Honor is now preparing to expand its 400 series lineup with two new models. The Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro. A recent leak has revealed the official renders of both smartphones alongside most of their specs.

Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro rumors

Display and Design

Starting with the display, the regular Honor 400 will have a 6.55-inch flat AMOLED display. While the Pro model gets a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display with quad-curves. And both of them boast a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits of peak brightness (HDR).

But other than these two, Honor is also said to be exploring an even smaller phone in the 400 lineup. Possibly one with a 6.3-inch display. And as you can see from the leaked renders — thanks to 91mobiles —  the Honor 400 and 400 Pro kinda look like the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra. In terms of IP rating, rumors suggest the cheaper model will bear IP65 dust/splash resistance versus IP68 + IP69 dust/water resistance on the Pro variant.

Performance

Moving on, the standard Honor 400 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, compared to the Pro model’s more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

Snapdragon 8 gen 3

In terms of software, both these phones will run on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0, which includes a handful of AI features. Like Google’s “Circle to Search”, on-device deepfake detection, AI translation, AI Writing Tools, AI Recorder, and more.

Cameras and Battery

Getting to cameras, both phones will carry a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP selfie shooter. But the Honor 400 Pro will also include a 50MP telephoto lens… likely with 3x optical zoom.

On the other hand, the Honor 400 is expected to come with a 5,300mAh silicon-carbon battery with 66W wired charging. The larger Honor 400 Pro bears the same battery capacity but with 100W charging, which should fill up half the phone in just 15 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 rumored to launch this summer with familiar specs

0

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is reportedly just around the corner. The foldable flagship is expected to launch in summer 2025, but from what we know so far, the changes might not be as major as some were hoping for. This article will discuss everything about the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 Overview

Launch Timeline

Samsung is likely releasing the Z Fold 7 sometime in mid-2025, with the U.S. model listed as SM-F966U. If things follow the usual cycle, we’ll see it in about three months.

Performance and Software

Snapdragon 8 Elite

The Z Fold 7 will ship with Snapdragon 8 Elite, a higher-clocked “for Galaxy” version of Qualcomm’s flagship chip. This is the same chip expected in the Galaxy S25 lineup. It sticks with 12GB of RAM, the same as last year. Some expected a bump to 16GB, but that seems unlikely now. The phone will boot with Android 16 layered with One UI 8.

Display and Design

You’re getting a 7.6-inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED main display at 2160 x 1856 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display is 6.3 inches, same 120Hz, and covered with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The size and specs feel almost identical to last year’s Fold 6.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Design

To be honest, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was quite a phone, although there was a fair bit of disappointment. Many felt it didn’t offer much of an upgrade over the Z Fold 5. And it seems like Samsung is repeating the same play here.

Battery and Charging

Battery capacity stays at 4400mAh. Charging remains 25W wired and 15W wireless. No visible effort to push beyond that.

Camera Setup

Rear setup will likely include a 50MP main, a 10MP telephoto (3x optical zoom, 66mm) and a 12MP ultra-wide. The inner screen still has a 4MP under-display selfie camera. Same hardware, as far as we can tell.

Foldables Aren’t Just Samsung Anymore

But Samsung is no longer alone in this space. The foldable scene is packed now. Honor makes what’s currently the slimmest foldable. Oppo’s Find N5 made serious noise this year with its compact form factor. And Pixel Fold was praised everywhere for its usability and camera. So while Samsung helped shape the category, the competition has caught up—and in some areas, even pulled ahead.

This makes the Fold 7 feel even more underwhelming. At a time when competitors are pushing boundaries, Samsung seems to be playing it safe.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 Specifications (Rumored)

  • Main Display: 7.6″ Dynamic AMOLED, 2160 x 1856, 120Hz
  • Cover Display: 6.3″ Dynamic AMOLED, 968 x 2376, 120Hz, Gorilla Glass Victus 2
  • Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite (for Galaxy)
  • RAM: 12GB
  • OS: Android 16 with One UI 8
  • Rear Cameras: 50MP main + 10MP 3x telephoto + 12MP ultra-wide
  • Front Camera: 4MP under-display
  • Battery: 4400mAh
  • Charging: 25W wired, 15W wireless

Galaxy Z Fold 7 Price in Nepal and Availability

In the U.S., the price may go above $2,000, depending on how new import taxes affect the industry after July 2025. For Nepal, the pricing is expected to start at no less than NPR 260,200.

Honor unveils $10B Alpha Plan with Google cloud partnership for AI innovation

    0

Honor has officially announced the “Alpha Plan,” a five-year roadmap aiming to establish itself as a global AI device ecosystem company. The company shared details of this initiative during its participation at the Google Cloud Next 2025 event in Las Vegas. This article will discuss everything about the latest Honor Alpha Plan, including its investment details, partnership goals, and upcoming AI features.

    Honor Alpha Plan Overview

    Investment and Timeline

    Honor AI plan

Honor is investing $10 billion into the Alpha Plan over the next five years. The long-term objective is to become a top player in AI-driven device ecosystems globally.

Honor participated in the Google Cloud Next 2025 event to support its key partner, Google. The company also promoted a series of new AI features developed in collaboration with Google Cloud, aligning with the goals of the Alpha Plan.

    New AI Features Introduced

    AI Outpainting

Honor showcased AI Outpainting, a feature that extends and reframes photos using generative AI. The tool allows users to zoom out or rotate images and fills in blank areas with AI-generated content. This feature is powered by Google’s Imagen model and integrated into Honor’s AiMAGE suite. It can expand photos up to twice their original size and maintain consistency even in complex visual environments.

    AI Eraser

Another feature presented was AI Eraser. It removes unwanted objects from photos and replaces them with contextually relevant content. This tool also uses Imagen’s inpainting model to generate realistic fill-ins after object removal.

    AI Upscale

AI Upscale improves photo resolution using AI processing. It is already available on the newly launched Honor 400 Lite in Europe. The feature enhances image quality without requiring additional user input.

    Vision and Future Plans

Honor’s leadership emphasized AI accessibility. Eric Fang, Senior Director of Product Planning, stated that “democratizing AI is at the core of our mission.” Looking ahead, Honor plans to integrate video generation using Google’s Veo model and introduce Gemini-powered productivity tools. These features will appear in devices launching next month. The company also confirmed its continued focus on co-developing both cloud-powered and on-device AI features in partnership with Google Cloud.

Samsung launches its new monster — the Galaxy M56 5G — featuring Exynos 1480

Samsung’s latest midrange smartphone, the Galaxy M56, has finally launched in India. And it comes as a slight rebrand of Galaxy A56 5G (review), but with a couple of changes here and there. So, let’s dive into the specifications, design, features, and expected price of the Samsung Galaxy M56 in Nepal in this article.

    Samsung M56 Overview

    Design and display

In terms of design, the Galaxy M56 continues Samsung’s clean and minimal aesthetics. The back panel has a matte finish with a subtle Samsung logo, while the camera layout consists of two prominent lenses inside pill-shaped cutouts, all arranged vertically at the top-left corner. The side frame has a metallic look with slight curves for comfort.

Measuring 7.2mm in thickness and weighing around 180 grams, the Galaxy M56 is slim and lightweight, keeping it in line with modern midrange design trends.

    Samsung Galaxy M56 5G design

As for the display, the phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ panel with Full HD+ resolution. Samsung has reportedly improved brightness by 33% compared to the Galaxy M55 (review), which means the M56 now has 1,300 nits of peak brightness. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals, while the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

    Performance and software

Starting at 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the Galaxy M56 is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1480 chipset.  It has a similar capacity as compared to the D7400 & SD 7s Gen 3.  This is also the same chip we saw on last year’s Galaxy A55 (review), by the way.

For graphics, the Samsung Xclipse 530 GPU is expected to handle casual gaming and regular usage, though it may struggle with more demanding games on high settings.

    Samsung Exynos 1480

The Galaxy M56 runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7. Samsung has also highlighted a couple of AI-driven tools like “Object Eraser”, “Image Clipper”, and “Edit Suggestions”.
