1

When Sony launched the Alpha A6400 camera, it received tons of appreciation from the tech community. Despite being an entry-level mirrorless camera, the device packs premium-level features like real-time eye autofocus and real-time tracking. That’s not all. And that amazing camera is now available in Nepal.

Sony Alpha a6400 Overview

The Alpha A6400 is a true successor of the A6300 and carries a number of amazing new features. The mirrorless camera comes with Real-time Eye AF with AI-based subject recognition. It is the first-ever Sony handset to feature this fancy feature. This AF technology is said to be very fast and more accurate than the previous version of the Eye AF system. In addition, Sony has also incorporated 850 AF points (425 Phase Detection AF points and 425 Contrast Detection AF points). Autofocusing on the device is also pretty fast. With an AF speed of 0.02s, Sony A6400 is, by far, the fastest camera in the world when it comes to autofocus.

Talking about the display, the camera comes with a 3-inch TFT touchscreen panel. Since it has a 180-degree tilting display, the device is also selfie-friendly. So, can also do some vlogging with A6400 if you are into that.

Another best feature of the device is its ability to capture 4K videos. The camera can capture 4K videos at 30fps at max. The device also comes with a wide variety of movie functions including 4K HDR (HLG) recording. Switching the resolution down to Full-HD, gets you to frame rates up to 120 fps. When it comes to continuous shooting, you can capture images up to 11 fps.

Lenovo Laptops Price in Nepal 2025 [Updated]

Lenovo has always been remembered for its sturdy build and reliable performance. They are popular among business professionals and enterprises. However, the company’s offering ranges from entry-level laptops to gaming beasts. In this post, we will look at all the Lenovo laptops available in Nepal, along with their specs, the latest price, and stores where you can buy them.

Lenovo Brand Overview

Widely recognized in the global PC market, Lenovo has built a strong following among those looking for reliable and diverse options in the laptops segment too. According to IDC, Lenovo was the top-selling PC manufacturer in 2023, with a large portion of its shipments being laptops. This includes everything from desktops and workstations to all-in-ones, but it’s the laptops that truly stand out.

Whether you’re a student, professional, or gamer, Lenovo has something for everyone. From the budget-friendly IdeaPad to the business-oriented ThinkPad and the gaming-focused Legion series, there’s a laptop for every need. Luckily, consumers in Nepal have access to a broad selection of Lenovo laptops, and the pricing is competitive too.

Need something simple for everyday use? The IdeaPad has you covered. But if you’re after something with a bit more muscle—maybe for gaming or heavy-duty work—the Legion series is a solid choice. And if you’re into something flexible and innovative, the Yoga series, with its 2-in-1 design, is available in Nepal as well.

Where to buy Lenovo Laptops in Nepal?

Megatech Trade Group is the official distributor of Lenovo in Nepal. You can visit their showroom in Durbar Marg or follow the Google Maps link here. One incentive for visiting the showroom is getting laptops at the showroom’s offer price. However, it is not the only place to offer Lenovo laptops. Places like Hukut also sell Lenovo laptops unofficially through their physical and online stores.

One more thing. For this list, we won’t include the older 10th and 11th gen Intel CPU-powered laptops since they’re dated for the time, and you’re better off with the newer 12th and 13th gen CPUs instead. Okay, with that out of the way, let’s dive into our list of all the available Lenovo laptops in Nepal with their key specs and latest prices.

Our Top Picks

The All-Rounder Budget Gamer: LOQ 15

Despite being Lenovo’s budget gaming option, the LOQ lineup has proved itself time and again to be a commendable all-rounder. While options from other brands like HP and Asus compromise on one aspect or another, like the display or build quality, Lenovo’s LOQ nearly ticks all of the fundamental boxes. Besides competitive specs at a similar price bracket, it features a minimalist design, a durable chassis, and a colorful, bright screen. Our pick for an entry-level rig is the LOQ 15 with Intel’s Core i5 12450HX and RTX 3050 (6GB) for around that Rs. 110k mark.

How to find the Best Phones Under 1 Lakh Rupees in Nepal

Finding a balanced phone in the 1 lakh price range can be a challenge, but key features can help you make a well-informed decision. Look for a high refresh rate OLED display, which provides smoother navigation and vibrant visuals for media consumption and gaming.

2. iPhone 15: The Reliable Performer

iPhone 13 - Blue

The silver medal on our list of best phones under NPR 100000 in Nepal goes to the iPhone 15. The iPhone 15 is a balanced mix of performance, design, and functionality. Its sleek look is on par with the 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display and delivers vibrant visuals, though limited to a 60Hz refresh rate.

The A16 Bionic chip ensures smooth multitasking and gaming, while the dual cameras capture sharp, punchy photos and stable 4K videos. The 3349mAh battery offers ok-ish endurance, and its lightweight aluminum frame and IP68 rating add to its durability and appeal.

Still a good choice in 2025?

Despite its drawbacks, the iPhone 15 remains a valuable choice in 2025, thanks to the recent price drops. It offers a no-frills experience that excels in design, display, cameras, performance, and software. While other phones like the Galaxy S24 FE or the OnePlus 13R may offer faster performance and larger, smoother displays, none can match the consistent reliability of the iPhone 15, particularly in terms of software and camera quality. That’s why it continues to be the top choice for many users.

1. Samsung Galaxy S25: The Compact Powerhouse

Galaxy s25

Finally, in the first position of the best phones under 1 lakh in Nepal, we have the Samsung Galaxy S25 offering an impressive balance between affordability and flagship-grade performance. The compact size of this phone is pretty handy for one-hand usage and it doesn’t feel heavy either.

The display is one of the strongest features, offering vibrant colors and brightness that work well even in bright sunlight. It’s one of the best screens you’ll find on any phone. software is where the S25 series shines, with the latest One UI 7 boasting a super smooth experience. Plus, 7 years of OS and security updates, speaks volumes about Samsung’s commitment.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy S25 is hard to beat, boasting the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The battery life is solid, but competitors like the OnePlus 13R offer better endurance and faster charging, which puts Samsung at a disadvantage. Overall, while the S25 is an excellent device.

The Flagship Cameras

Although on paper, the camera setup of Galaxy S25 remains the same as last year, I wouldn’t term it as its con. The S25 provides you excellent camera performance from all of its three cameras: 50MP main, 10MP 3x telephoto, and the 12MP UW unit.

Portrait options include a new 5X mode, which can further zoom in for a closer shot. Meanwhile, the 3X lens itself is enough most of the time. It creates charming, classic-looking images with pleasing background bokeh. Selfies deliver vibrant colors and competitive detail, making them social media-ready.

Samsung’s One UI 7 rollout delayed after major bug surfaces

0

Samsung has abruptly delayed the global rollout of the One UI 7 update just a few days after it was initially released. The update, which started rolling out on April 7 for flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6, has now been suspended indefinitely due to a critical bug.

Why did Samsung delay the One UI 7 update?

Because of a critical bug — first highlighted by popular leakster Ice Universe — users who got the fresh One UI 7 update couldn’t unlock their phones. While Samsung has yet to comment officially, online forums in Korea and other websites indicate that this is the cause of the abrupt halt.

Ice Universe One UI 7 Bug

The issue was initially believed to be limited to Galaxy S24 units running on the Exynos 2400. And the update has already been removed from Samsung’s OTA servers. However, recent information points to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered variants in regions like the US being affected as well.

We don’t know the exact nature of the bug, but it’s severe enough to delay the broader rollout of One UI 7. Not only for the newest flagships but potentially for older phones like the Galaxy S23 series as well. This may even push back update timelines across Samsung’s entire portfolio of smartphones.

What to expect next?

So far, no word has been heard from Samsung. Based on on how serious the issue is, we hope Samsung is working on a fix on a priority basis. And if your eligible Samsung phone hasn’t received the One UI 7 update yet, then this unexpected delay is definitely the reason.

The installation process for GPS Sewa is quite simple. According to GPS Sewa, the tracking device typically goes into the trunk area of the vehicle. And it connects to the internet from a paired cell phone for real-time data synchronization to the GPS Sewa system. Users can see tracking data either from a mobile application or a web dashboard.
