According to a report from TheElec, Qualcomm’s CEO stated that supply for their chipset has increased since 2020. Likewise, he expects it to get even better in 2022—especially when compared to 2020.

Smartphone manufacturers have struggled to meet market demand due to chip shortages. There are even reports that manufacturers have delayed or canceled their product(s) as a result of the scarcity. Although the phone is now said to be in the works, it had to be delayed multiple times—which demonstrates just how much businesses are suffering because of chip shortage.

Furthermore, in mid-year, Samsung Mobile Chief TM Roh and Procurement Executive visited the United States to meet with semiconductor manufacturers to secure chip supplies.

On the other hand, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger predicts that the worldwide chip scarcity would last until 2023. Likewise, Arm CEO Simon Segars has warned that the situation would deteriorate much more.

Lose for one, win for other

After Qualcomm experienced difficulties with chip supply, smartphone makers turned their focus over to MediaTek. It resulted in a huge increase in their market share, and MediaTek managed to offer its chipset on budget to premium mid-range phones.

Could the chip shortage really ease next year?

Both smartphone chipmakers recently launched their next-generation flagship SoCs. Xiaomi has finally launched its first 4K display monitor in China. The Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K also comes with Pantone validation. Here, we will take a look at the specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K in Nepal.

Starting with the display, the name gives away most details. The Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K sports a 27-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The bezels are extremely slim at the sides and the top, while the bottom chin is comparatively thicker.

Pandora is the only non-gaming laptop in Ripple’s portfolio, which is otherwise full of gaming machines. The company updated it with AMD’s latest Ryzen 5000-series CPU a while back, which previously consisted of Intel Core i7-1165G7. But it sold out in no time. Ripple has now opened up its pre-order once again. Here, we will be taking a look at the specs, features, official price, and availability of Ripple Pandora in Nepal.

Ripple Pandora Overview:

Design and Display

Ripple Pandora sports a magnesium alloy chassis with an extra layer of protective coating on top. The laptop is just 15 mm thick and weighs less than a kilogram (0.98 kg). It sports a 14″ FHD IPS panel with 100% sRGB coverage and 302 nits of brightness.

Performance

Under the hood, the laptops pack AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, which is an 8 cores/16 threads CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 4.3GHz. There’s no discrete GPU option here and users will have to rely on the integrated Radeon Vega 8 for their graphics-related workloads.
