Galaxy S26 series could look a lot different with a “Pro” model

We’re still months away from Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series. But a bunch of leaks and rumors about these flagship phones have already started hitting the internet. And one of the interesting rumors we have heard is that Samsung will also be launching a “Galaxy S26 Pro” this year.

A new product lineup?

Now you might be wondering, since when did Samsung start releasing a “Pro” model in its flagship phone? Well, this “Pro” variant is basically the standard model, but just with a different name.

And while the “Ultra” series isn’t going anywhere, there won’t be a Galaxy S26+ this year either. Which will instead be replaced by the “Edge” model instead with a thin-and-light design.

In short, the upcoming Galaxy S26 series will likely include three devices: Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro rumors

Slightly bigger display and new camera

Galaxy S26 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.27-inch display, which is barely larger than the Galaxy S25‘s 6.2-inch display.

The S26 Pro is supposedly getting a new image sensor for its primary camera as well, although its exact details are scarce for now. And of course, it will get the next-gen flagship chip, which might be Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2.

Same old Lithium battery

But the more interesting upgrade lies in the battery department since Samsung’s new base flagship will apparently get a 4,300 mAh battery. A considerable leap by Samsung’s standards since the Galaxy S25 had a tiny 4,000 mAh battery only.

As we know, many competitors have moved to using silicon-carbon battery technology, but Samsung is still sticking to good ol’ lithium-ion batteries.

Honor, for example, is already testing silicon-carbon batteries with capacities as high as 10,000 mAh for the Honor Power 2.

This only widens the gap, showing how far behind Samsung is when it comes to next-gen battery innovation. There were initial rumors that suggested the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be equipped with a silicon-carbon battery, although it seems those weren’t true after all.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro Launch Date

Like always, Samsung will launch its next flagship phones at the beginning of the year. Therefore, we can expect the entire Galaxy S26 series — including the Galaxy S26 Pro — to show up on Samsung’s “Unpacked” event on January 2026. We’ll be sure to update this article with more info as they become available, so watch out for this space.

PlayStation 6 leaks suggest triple the power and a reality check for Sony

0

We’re almost five years into the PS5 era, which feels both like yesterday and forever ago depending on whether you managed to actually buy one during the great shortage of 2021. And now, with the PS5 Pro already out there doing its thing, the rumor mill is spinning up for the PS6 – because apparently we can never just enjoy what we have. This article will discuss everything about the leaked PlayStation 6, including rumours, specifications, and availability.

PlayStation 6 Overview

The Orion Project

ps5 pro

Tech YouTuber Moore’s Law Is Dead claims he’s seen internal AMD and Sony docs for a console codenamed “Orion,” and if he’s right, Sony’s learned some lessons from this generation. Remember when the PS5 launched as this massive, space-age router that barely fit in TV stands? Well, apparently Sony’s aiming for a 160W total board power this time – actually lower than the current PS5.

It’s funny how we’ve gone from wanting the most powerful console possible to realizing that maybe efficiency matters more than having a jet engine in your living room. The leaked specs point to 8-core Zen 6 CPU and 40-48 RDNA 5 compute units running at 3GHz or higher, which should deliver around 3x the rasterization performance of the PS5.

4K 120fps: The holy grail nobody asked for

The big marketing push seems to be 4K 120fps gaming, which sounds impressive until you realize most people are still playing on 1080p TVs or 60Hz displays. But here’s the thing – Sony’s apparently focusing more on ray tracing and efficiency rather than just throwing more compute units at the problem. That’s actually smart, because ray tracing is where current consoles still struggle most.

They’re planning GDDR7 memory with a 160-bit or 192-bit bus, which is interesting because it shows Sony’s not going crazy with memory bandwidth costs. Sometimes the most impressive thing about new hardware is what the engineers choose not to include.

The Chiplet Question and TSMC 3nm

There’s talk of AMD chiplet design and TSMC’s 3nm process, which makes sense given where the semiconductor industry is heading. Chiplets let you mix and match different components more efficiently, though it adds complexity. It’s like building a PC where each part can be optimized separately instead of everything being stuck on one massive chip.

The timing works out too – production supposedly starts mid-2027 for a late 2027 or early 2028 launch. That’s right on schedule for the typical 7-year console cycle, assuming anyone still cares about console generations by then.

The Handheld Wild Card

Speaking of things nobody saw coming, there are whispers about a PlayStation handheld launching alongside the PS6. Which is hilarious because Sony killed the Vita, watched the Switch dominate portable gaming, and now apparently wants back in. The Steam Deck proved there’s demand for powerful handheld gaming, so maybe Sony’s timing is better this time

PlayStation 6 Specifications (Rumored)

  • CPU: 8-core Zen 6 (or newer)
  • GPU: 40-48 RDNA 5 compute units at 3GHz+
  • Performance: ~3x PS5 rasterization, enhanced ray tracing
  • Memory: GDDR7 with 160-bit or 192-bit bus
  • Target Resolution: 4K 120fps for many games
  • Power Consumption: ~160W total board power
  • Process Node: TSMC 3nm
  • Backward Compatibility: PS4 and PS5 games

PlayStation 6 Pricing and Availability

The PS6 is targeting a $499 launch price with production starting mid-2027 and release in late 2027 or early 2028. Official reveal would likely happen in 2026. When it makes to Nepal, it would probably start at no less than NPR 75,000, assuming Sony actually launches it here officially this time.

Vivo T4 Pro leaked specs reveal periscope camera and 6500mAh battery

0

Vivo’s T4 Pro is shaping up to be a serious mid-range contender, with leaks pointing to some flagship features at what should be a much lower price. The phone’s expected to launch by end of August, and Flipkart’s already teasing it with a “coming soon” banner.  This article will discuss everything about the leaked Vivo T4 Pro, including rumours, specifications, and availability.

Vivo T4 Pro Overview

Design and Display

Vivo T4 Pro

The T4 Pro borrows its rear design from the V60 and X200 FE, but ditches the ZEISS branding for a cleaner look. You’re getting a pill-shaped camera module with aura lighting and a quad-curved screen that should feel premium in hand.

At 7.53mm thick, it’s impressively slim considering the massive battery inside. The display rumors are all over the place – some sources say 1.5K QLED while others claim AMOLED, but 120Hz refresh rate seems consistent across leaks. Color options include Nitro Blue and Blaze Gold.

Performance and Software

Performance comes from Snapdragon’s new 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It’s running Android 15 with FunTouch OS 15 on top, which should be a clean experience compared to earlier Vivo software iterations.

The positioning below the T4 Ultra suggests this won’t be the absolute flagship killer, but should handle most tasks without breaking a sweat.

Camera System

The main camera setup includes a 50MP primary with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto with OIS and 3x optical zoom. That periscope camera is unusual for this price segment.

Up front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera, which is generous for a mid-range device. Vivo’s marketing is heavily pushing the “flagship-level 3x periscope zoom” angle, so camera performance seems to be their main selling point. The 6500mAh battery is massive, and 90W charging is a great offer.

Vivo T4 Pro Specifications

  • Display: 1.5K resolution, 120Hz (QLED/AMOLED unclear), quad-curved
  • Processor: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4
  • RAM: LPDDR4x
  • Storage: UFS 2.2
  • Rear Camera: 50MP main (OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide + 50MP periscope (3x zoom, OIS)
  • Front Camera: 50MP
  • Battery: 6500mAh with 90W charging
  • OS: Android 15 with FunTouch OS 15
  • Colors: Nitro Blue, Blaze Gold

Vivo T4 Pro Rumor and Availability

The T4 Pro is expected to launch by end of August 2025 in India, positioned below the T4 Ultra which costs INR 37,999. Expected pricing sits around INR 30,000, but it is not confirmed yet.

OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro launched in India with up to 54-hour battery life

0

OPPO just dropped the Enco Buds 3 Pro in India, and they’re targeting the budget TWS segment with some decent specs. Just under two thousand indian rupees, they’re positioning these as feature-packed earbuds that shouldn’t break the bank. This article will discuss everything about the latest OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Overview

Sound and Performance

Oppo Enco Buds 3 pro design and features

The Enco Buds 3 Pro packs 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers. Meanwhile, you’re getting Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity with AAC and SBC codec support – but nothing of any sort like LDAC.

The standout feature here is the 47ms ultra-low latency gaming mode. Plus, dual device pairing lets you switch between your phone and laptop without any hassle.

Battery Life and Charging

Here’s where things get impressive – 12 hours from the earbuds alone, extending to 54 hours with the charging case. That’s genuinely solid battery life that should last most people a week of regular use.

The 10-minute quick charge giving you 4 hours of playback is pretty handy when you’re rushing out the door. OPPO also threw in TÜV Rheinland battery certification, which basically means the battery should maintain its health over time.

Build Quality and Features

IP55 rating handles dust and water resistance. The earbuds work with OPPO’s Enco Master and HeyMelody apps for EQ customization and touch control adjustments.

Google Fast Pair support means Android users get that nice pairing experience. It’s the little things that make budget earbuds feel less budget-y.

OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Specifications

  • Drivers: 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers
  • Bluetooth: 5.4 with AAC and SBC codecs
  • Battery Life: 12 hours (earbuds) + 54 hours (with case)

Apple Vision Pro might be getting M5 upgrade as VR dreams meet reality

Apple’s Vision Pro is getting an M5 processor upgrade in late 2025 or early 2026, which feels like throwing a faster engine into a car that most people didn’t want to drive in the first place. Remember when the Vision Pro launched and we saw those viral videos of people wearing $3,500 headsets on the subway? That whole cultural moment feels like a fever dream now. Without further adom this article will discuss everything about the upcoming Apple Vision Pro M5 upgrade, including rumours, specifications, and availability.

Apple Vision Pro M5 Rumors

The reality check nobody asked for

Apple vision Pro isolation

The Vision Pro was supposed to be the smartphone killer, the thing that would finally free us from staring at little rectangles all day. Instead, we’d be staring at slightly bigger rectangles strapped to our faces. There was this almost religious fervor around it initially – people genuinely believed we were witnessing the birth of the post-smartphone era. But here we are, and most Vision Pros are probably collecting dust on shelves next to abandoned fitness trackers.

Was it the $3,500 price tag that killed the momentum? Maybe. Or the weight that made wearing it feel like punishment. But honestly, I think people are just tired of manufactured zeitgeists. Tech companies keep pushing these “revolutionary products” that are supposed to change everything, and we’re all kind of numb to it at this point.

The new M5 (If Anyone Still Cares)

Apple’s reportedly upgrading from the current M2 and R1 chip combo to the M5 processor, which should launch after Apple officially reveals the M5 in October. This isn’t a full second-generation model – just a chipset bump to make visionOS run better and potentially enable AAA gaming with Sony’s PSVR2 Sense controllers.

The gaming angle is interesting because that’s where VR actually makes sense. Nobody wants to check emails in virtual reality, but playing games? That could work if the hardware can handle it without making you nauseous.

The competition nobody’s talking about

Meta’s been plugging away at VR for years, and now Chinese companies like Vivo are jumping in with their own MR headsets. If these things ever get down to smartphone prices and weigh less than a brick, maybe we’ll see actual adoption. But right now, it feels like everyone’s building solutions to problems that don’t really exist.

The whole industry seems stuck in this loop of creating increasingly impressive technology that nobody particularly wants to use. It’s like we’re living through the tech equivalent of throwing spaghetti at the wall, except the spaghetti costs thousands of dollars and makes your neck hurt.

Apple Vision Pro M5 Rumor and Availability

The M5 upgrade will likely maintain the current Vision Pro pricing structure, which starts at $3,500.

OPPO Mobile Price in Nepal [Updated 2025]

In this article, we are going to list the official price of OPPO mobile phones in Nepal along with its specifications, overview, and features.

OPPO: Brand Overview

Chinese smartphone brand OPPO officially arrived in Nepal via the sole authorized distributor – Telecell Pvt. Ltd in 2016. Unlike other brands, the price of OPPO smartphones in Nepal has been consistent with other markets like India and China. It’s largely because of the company’s offline sales strategy. That being said, a few of OPPO’s offerings can also be found on the online market.

OPPO has a lot of series in Nepal and their price ranges from NPR 15,000 and going up to almost NPR 50,000. Its A-series is quite popular in Nepal because of its affordable cost. Likewise, the F-series is focused more on the design and camera aspect and is a good option in the mid-range segment.

The new series that OPPO introduced in 2018 is the Reno series. It’s a premium mid-range segment with some flagship specs. And finally, we have the Find series, which is the company’s premium range. However, it is yet to debut in Nepal.

Oppo A5 Pro design 4G

The A5 Pro 4G is OPPO’s latest venture into the smartphone market in Nepal with a focus on ultra durability and longevity. It sports IP69 water resistance with military-grade shock resistance and a large 5800mAh battery. Powering the A5 Pro is a Snapdragon 6s 4G gen 1 chip from Qualcomm alongside 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There’s a dual camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP auxiliary. The screen is a large 6.7″ HD+ IPS screen that refreshes up to 120Hz.

While the extreme toughness of the A5 Pro is certainly commendable, the somewhat weak processor paired with a 720p screen isn’t the best you can do at this range. That being said, if you want a strong, long-lasting smartphone that fills up quickly, the A5 Pro makes an interesting case.

The OPPO A60 is the company’s latest smartphone in Nepal. It’s a typical budget phone from OPPO as you’d expect, but there are a couple of interesting things about it. Including that display with an impressive peak brightness of 950 nits. So if you’re outdoors a lot and want something on a budget that has great outdoor visibility, this could the one to get. This thing is also IP54 dust/splash resistant, while OPPO has even secured military standard 810H certification.

But that’s pretty much all the exciting stuff on the OPPO A60. It’s still powered by the outdated Snapdragon 680 chip, while OPPO has gone with a simple dual camera setup at the back. Which includes a 50MP primary and a 2MP depth sensor. At least its battery life should be pretty good, since the A60 has paired that underpowered processor with a big 5000mAh battery.

OPPO A60 Specifications:

  • Display: 6.67-inch HD+ IPS, 90Hz refresh rate, 950 nits peak brightness
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G (6nm)

Vivo G3 5G announced with Dimensity 6300 and a huge 6,000mAh battery

0

Vivo has launched a new smartphone under its G-series, the G3 5G. It’s the successor of Vivo G2, which was lastly launched in China in January 2024. So let’s look at what Vivo has brought to the table with this new G3 5G in this article, alongside its expected price in Nepal.

Vivo G3 5G Overview:

Design and Display

Starting with design, the Vivo G3 has a couple of design upgrades across the board. It now has IP64 dust and splash resistance, and what seems to be “Aura Light” that we’ve seen on Vivo’s “V” series phones. Although here, it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Like most Vivo phones these days, the G3 also received SGS five-star drop-resistant certification, by the way. And in terms of security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint reader here.

Vivo G3 5G - Design

But getting to the display, Vivo still went with an IPS panel here with a waterdrop notch, an HD resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate like last year. The only piece of upgrade is that this screen now measures slightly taller at 6.74 inches instead of 6.56 inches.

Performance and memory

At least the Vivo G3 has a couple of performance upgrades. It’s now powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 compared to Dimensity 6020 on G2 5G, which brings 5 – 10% performance uplift.

MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor

For memory, we get 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. But there is a catch since only the 256GB variant gets the faster UFS 2.2 storage, while the 128GB variant uses slower eMMC 5.1 storage.

Vivo G3 runs on Android 15-based OriginOS 5, although the company has not disclosed how many updates it will get.

JBL Boombox 4 launched in China with 210W power output

0

JBL just dropped the Boombox 4 in China, and it appears to pack some decent upgrades over its predecessor. They’re positioning this as their “flagship portable speaker” with enough power to fill any outdoor space. So, let’s dive into this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest JBL Boombox 4, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

JBL Boombox 4 Overview

Design and Portability

JBL Boombox 4 price in Nepal

The Boombox 4 gets a complete redesign that’s actually 12% lighter than the Boombox 3, which is impressive considering the power bump. At 5.89 kg, it’s indeed a hefty speaker, but you also get an integrated handle, such that you can carry this around anywhere. You’re getting three color options: black, blue, and camouflage.

The dimensions come in at 506.4 x 262.9 x 212.9 mm, so this is quite big, and as mentioned earlier, it’s definitely portable but not exactly pocket-friendly. But then again, you’re not buying a Boombox for subtle background music.

Sound and power

JBL Boombox 4 packs 7 drivers total – dual 5-inch woofers, dual 0.75-inch tweeters, and 3 passive radiators. Power output hits 210W RMS when plugged in and drops to 180W RMS on battery.

If you wonder if this also features some kind of AI gimmick, then well, your intuition was correct as they’ve added an AI Sound Boost algorithm that’s supposed to deliver more “dynamic and balanced audio.” Plus, there’s a dedicated Bass Boost button with two levels, because apparently one level of earth-shaking bass wasn’t enough.

Battery and Charging

The 99Wh internal battery on the JBL Boombox 4 delivers 28 hours of playback, extendable to 34 hours with something called Playtime Boost. It doubles as a 30W power bank with 20V/1.5A PPS output. So you can charge your phone while the speaker is blasting tunes. Fast charging works through both USB-C and AC ports.

Connectivity and Features

You’re getting Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast support for multi-speaker pairing. It can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, so switching between phones won’t be a hassle.

The USB-C port supports lossless playback with a built-in DAC. And with an IP68 rating, you can literally submerge this thing without worrying.

JBL Boombox 4 Specifications

  • Drivers: 7 total (dual 5-inch woofers, dual 0.75-inch tweeters, 3 passive radiators)
  • Power Output: 210W RMS (plugged), 180W RMS (battery)
  • Battery: 99Wh, 28-34 hours of playback
