Honor has announced to launch of its first device in its latest “Power” series. This smartphone is all about battery life, boasting a gigantic 8000mAh battery. Therefore, in this article, we will discuss the specs, looks, features, and expected price of the Honor Power in Nepal.

Battery

As mentioned before, the standout feature of the Honor Power is its 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. Making it one of the largest battery capacities in a mainstream smartphone to date. For context, this is twice the size of the Galaxy S25’s 4,000mAh unit, and it’s also larger than the OnePlus 13’s 6,000mAh battery.

Honor even compares its capacity in watt-hours (29.6 Wh) to the 11″ iPad Air (28.93 Wh), which highlights just how much power this device can store.

According to Honor, the phone can deliver up to 25 hours of video playback, 23.1 hours of short video viewing, 23.5 hours of navigation, and 14 hours of gaming on a full charge. The company also claims the battery is rated for 1,000 charge cycles before it drops to 80% of its original capacity, which theoretically translates to around six years of typical usage.

In terms of charging, the Honor Power supports 66W wired fast charging, with the company claiming a full charge in 68 minutes, though this estimate is based on charging the phone from 3% to 100%. There is also support for 5W reverse wired charging.

Talking about the design, the Honor Power maintains a sleek and simple look despite having a massive battery. The device features thickness of just 7.98 mm and weighing around 209 grams, it’s actually slimmer and lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra which measures 8.2 mm thick and weighs 218 grams. Also, the glossy back panel, paired with subtle Honor branding at the bottom, gives it a modern and polished look.

Samsung’s One UI 7 rollout delayed after major bug surfaces

Samsung has abruptly delayed the global rollout of the One UI 7 update just a few days after it was initially released. The update which started to roll out on April 7 for flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 now has now been suspended due to a critical bug.

Why did Samsung delay the One UI 7 update?

Because of a critical bug — first highlighted by popular leakster Ice Universe — users who got the fresh One UI 7 update couldn’t unlock their phones. While Samsung has yet to comment officially, online forums in Korea and other websites indicate that this is the cause of the abrupt halt.

The issue was initially believed to be limited to Galaxy S24 units running on the Exynos 2400. And the update has already been removed from Samsung’s OTA servers. However, recent information points to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered variants in regions like the US being affected as well.

LG’s latest midrange earbuds — xboom Buds— are now official. It’s equipped with 10 mm graphene-coated drivers, and it’s created in collaboration with musician “will.i.am” from “Black Eyed Peas”. Xiaomi has officially launched a new 27-inch 4K monitor under its A27 lineup. The Xiaomi A27Ui joins the existing A27i and A27Qi models but with a sharper resolution and more professional-grade features. Design

The Xiaomi 4K Monitor A27Ui has a straightforward design, which is centered around a 27-inch flat IPS panel with slim bezels on three sides. This layout helps to reduce visual distractions and can be useful for multi-monitor setups.

In terms of connectivity, the monitor includes a USB-C port that supports video output, data transfer and up to 90W of reverse charging. When the monitor is connected by USB-C the monitor also functions as a USB hub which help to reduce reliance on a laptop’s built-in ports. Other ports on the Xiaomi 4K Monitor A27Ui include two HDMI, one DisplayPort, two USB-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
