
FCC database has recently revealed an unannounced Xiaomi Redmi phone with model number “2303CRA44A”. The device is expected to be the upcoming Note 12S. Let’s take a look at the rumored specs, as well as the expected price in Nepal, and the availability of Redmi Note 12S.
Redmi Note 12S Rumors Overview:
According to the FCC listing, the upcoming Note 12S will be similar to the Redmi Note 11S with some tweaks in the camera and charging department.
Design and Display
Images of the phone have surfaced on the FCC website as well, revealing that it will have a centered hole-punch cutout and a design similar to the Note 11S.
Furthermore, rumors suggest that the phone will feature the same 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate as its predecessor. We’ll get to see a 3.5mm audio jack, an IR blaster, and a speaker grill on the device’s top frame.
Performance
While there have been no confirmations in terms of chipset, Redmi Note 12S is expected to use the same MediaTek Helio G96 processor as its predecessor. For reference, Helio G96 (12nm) has an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A76 (@2.05 GHz) and six Cortex-A55 cores (@2.0 GHz). Whereas on the graphics side of things, it brings Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

Furthermore, this upcoming Redmi Note phone will support a 67W fast charging as opposed to the 33W on the Note 11S. In addition, the image on the FCC listing also reveals a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
