Fujifilm has launched the X-H2 camera in Nepal. It’s the first APS-C mirrorless camera to feature a 40.2MP sensor and 8K video recording. Let’s take a closer look at the Fujifilm X-H2 along with its key features and official price in Nepal.
FUJIFILM X-H2 Overview
40.2MP APS-C Sensor and X-Processor 5
The Fujifilm X-H2 is equipped with a 40.2MP back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor. It uses the company’s latest X-Processor 5 for better image processing and improved power efficiency. The sensor also features a unique X-Trans color filter to reduce moiré and false colors without the need for an optical low-pass filter.
This camera supports ultra-high-resolution stills, in-camera RAW to TIFF conversion, and Pixel Shift Multi-Shot for extremely detailed images.
8K Video and Professional Recording Options
For video creators, the X-H2 records in 8K at 30 frames per second. It also supports 6.2K/30p, 4K/60p, and Full HD at 240p. The camera can record Apple ProRes (via CFexpress) as well as H.265 and H.264 formats. F-Log2 is also available for advanced color grading workflows.
There is a built-in digital image stabilization system, with an additional boost mode available for steadier video.
5-Axis IBIS and Fast Autofocus
The camera features 5-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) with up to 7 stops of compensation. This helps reduce camera shake when shooting handheld or in low-light conditions.
It uses an Intelligent Hybrid AF system that combines phase-detection and contrast-detection autofocus. Subject detection modes include face/eye, animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, airplanes, and trains.
OLED EVF and Vari-Angle LCD
The X-H2 features a 0.5-inch OLED electronic viewfinder with 5.76 million dots and 0.8x magnification. It also has a 3.0-inch vari-angle touchscreen LCD with approximately 1.62 million dots for flexible shooting angles.
Dual Card Slots and Build Quality
There are two card slots—one CFexpress Type B and one SD (UHS-II)—to support high-resolution burst shooting and high-bitrate video recording. The camera body is made of magnesium alloy and is weather-sealed to resist dust, moisture, and cold down to -10°C.
Other features include USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, full-size HDMI, mic and headphone jacks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and support for tethered shooting.
