CPU and GPU

The new TUF Gaming A15 is powered by the latest Ryzen 7000 series CPUs Users have the option to choose between the Ryzen 7 7735HS and Ryzen 9 79450HS. Both processors feature 8 cores and 16 threads. The difference lies in the architecture. The Ryzen 9 is based on a newer Zen 3 and features higher clock speeds than the Ryzen 7, which makes use of the older Zen 4.

The new Ryzen processors are paired with NVIDIA’s RTX 40-series processors. Asus offers the Ryzen 7 model with RTX 4060 GPU. On the contrary, the Ryzen 9 variant has two additional graphics options: RTX 4050 and RTX 4070. All the GPUs max out at 140W TGP, including 25W Dynamic Boost.

Last year, Asus introduced MUX switches on all its TUF Gaming A15 laptops, and this year the company has taken a step further by integrating Advanced Optimus.

Thermals and Memory

Helping the laptop sustain high performance is the dual Arc Flow flans. They feature a combined 84 blades as thin as 0.1mm. As per the company, this results in 13% better airflow than last year. Heat is brought to these fans through five copper heat pies and thrown out through four exhaust vents.

The Meizu 20 Series went official just some months ago with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. And the Meizu 21 is also official. This time, it brings the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 200MP triple camera setup, and super narrow bezels. Here, we’ll delve into the specs, features, and expected price of the Meizu 21 in Nepal.

Meizu 21 Overview:

Design and Display

One of the key USPs here has to be its design. The Meizu 21 boasts an attractive look with a flat frame design and ultra-narrow bezels on the screen. The visual aesthetics is similar to the Meizu 20 but there are some slight differences now. For instance, the Meizu logo now sits in the middle from the left side, and the LED flash around the third camera lens consists of some flashy colors. You also get an IP54 rating against dust and water splashes.

The Redmi Book (2024) gets a powerful H series processor from Intel, the Core i5-13500H. This 13th Gen silicon features a 12-core architecture with 4 performance cores with max 4.7GHz turbo frequency and 8 efficient cores with max 3.5GHz turbo frequency syncing along. Likewise, you get 18MB of L3 cache here. On the GPU side, there is an integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Redmi has paired the CPU with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB/1TB of PCle 4.0 SSD storage. For heat dissipation, this ultrabook houses dual fans and dual 8mm heat pipes.

Build-wise, both models do not compromise on anything. You get a solid aluminum metal build here. The 14-inch guy weighs just 1.37 kg while the 16-inch model gets a bit more chunk, weighing 1.68 kg. The full-sized backlit keyboard boasts 1.3mm key travel and a PTP touchpad for precise cursor control. Xiaomi just announced the successors to last year’s Redmi K60 lineup in a Chinese event today. The new lineup consists of the Redmi K70E, vanilla Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro. In this article, let’s have a look at the K70 and its pro sibling alongside their features, full specifications, and expected price in Nepal.

Redmi K70 and K70 Pro Overview

Design and Display

Both K70 phones feature similar designs with flat edges and glass backs. The standard K70 is available in Black, White, Moonstone Blue, and Purple colors while the K70 Pro goes for your typical Black, White and Blue color options alongside a super special Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse edition.

Both sport 6.67-inch QHD+ OLED screens from TCL. The 120Hz panels support 12-bit colors, have 2160Hz touch sampling rate, 3840 Hz PWM dimming, and can reach an astonishing 4000 nits of peak brightness.

Performance

Under the hood, the Redmi K70 is powered by last year’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor while the pro variant gets the newer SD Gen 3. To keep the chips cool, you also get a 5000 mm² heat-dispersing area with a vapor chamber.

In terms of memory, the base variants of both Redmi K70 and K70 Pro feature 12GB of LPPDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. But while the Pro version can go up to 24GB / 1TB, the vanilla K70 maxes out at 16GB / 1TB.

The devices run on Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.

Cameras

Though both phones sport triple-camera setups on a rectangular island, all the lenses do not translate over. The primary shooter for both is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 800 lens with a 1/1.55″ sensor and OIS.

The ultrawide in the K70 is an 8MP shooter while the Pro sibling gets a 12MP one. Similarly, the pro treatment continues with the telephoto lens where we see a 50MP 2x portrait cam on the K70 Pro as opposed to the “AI Cam” on the standard variant. On the front, we see the same 16MP selfie cam housed in the hole-punch.

Battery and Extras

Fueling the Redmi K70 devices is a 5000mAh battery. Both the vanilla K70 and K70 Pro support super fast 120W fast charging promising a full charge in under 20 minutes (~18 minutes). For safety and longevity, there are P2 (power) and G1 (battery) chips to improve battery life and overall power management.

Other features include NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and WiFi 7 support.
