Apple Vision Pro might be getting M5 upgrade as VR dreams meet reality

Apple’s Vision Pro is getting an M5 processor upgrade in late 2025 or early 2026, which feels like throwing a faster engine into a car that most people didn’t want to drive in the first place. Remember when the Vision Pro launched and we saw those viral videos of people wearing $3,500 headsets on the subway? That whole cultural moment feels like a fever dream now. Without further adom this article will discuss everything about the upcoming Apple Vision Pro M5 upgrade, including rumours, specifications, and availability.

Apple Vision Pro M5 Rumors

The reality check nobody asked for

Apple vision Pro isolation

The Vision Pro was supposed to be the smartphone killer, the thing that would finally free us from staring at little rectangles all day. Instead, we’d be staring at slightly bigger rectangles strapped to our faces. There was this almost religious fervor around it initially – people genuinely believed we were witnessing the birth of the post-smartphone era. But here we are, and most Vision Pros are probably collecting dust on shelves next to abandoned fitness trackers.

Was it the $3,500 price tag that killed the momentum? Maybe. Or the weight that made wearing it feel like punishment. But honestly, I think people are just tired of manufactured zeitgeists. Tech companies keep pushing these “revolutionary products” that are supposed to change everything, and we’re all kind of numb to it at this point.

The new M5 (If Anyone Still Cares)

Apple’s reportedly upgrading from the current M2 and R1 chip combo to the M5 processor, which should launch after Apple officially reveals the M5 in October. This isn’t a full second-generation model – just a chipset bump to make visionOS run better and potentially enable AAA gaming with Sony’s PSVR2 Sense controllers.

The gaming angle is interesting because that’s where VR actually makes sense. Nobody wants to check emails in virtual reality, but playing games? That could work if the hardware can handle it without making you nauseous.

The competition nobody’s talking about

Meta’s been plugging away at VR for years, and now Chinese companies like Vivo are jumping in with their own MR headsets. If these things ever get down to smartphone prices and weigh less than a brick, maybe we’ll see actual adoption. But right now, it feels like everyone’s building solutions to problems that don’t really exist.

The whole industry seems stuck in this loop of creating increasingly impressive technology that nobody particularly wants to use. It’s like we’re living through the tech equivalent of throwing spaghetti at the wall, except the spaghetti costs thousands of dollars and makes your neck hurt.

Apple Vision Pro M5 Rumor and Availability

The M5 upgrade will likely maintain the current Vision Pro pricing structure, which starts at $3,500.

Vivo G3 5G announced with Dimensity 6300 and a huge 6,000mAh battery

0

Vivo has launched a new smartphone under its G-series, the G3 5G. It’s the successor of Vivo G2, which was lastly launched in China in January 2024. So let’s look at what Vivo has brought to the table with this new G3 5G in this article, alongside its expected price in Nepal.

Vivo G3 5G Overview:

Design and Display

Starting with design, the Vivo G3 has a couple of design upgrades across the board. It now has IP64 dust and splash resistance, and what seems to be “Aura Light” that we’ve seen on Vivo’s “V” series phones. Although here, it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Like most Vivo phones these days, the G3 also received SGS five-star drop-resistant certification, by the way. And in terms of security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint reader here.

Vivo G3 5G - Design

But getting to the display, Vivo still went with an IPS panel here with a waterdrop notch, an HD resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate like last year. The only piece of upgrade is that this screen now measures slightly taller at 6.74 inches instead of 6.56 inches.

Performance and memory

At least the Vivo G3 has a couple of performance upgrades. It’s now powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 compared to Dimensity 6020 on G2 5G, which brings 5 – 10% performance uplift.

MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor

For memory, we get 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. But there is a catch since only the 256GB variant gets the faster UFS 2.2 storage, while the 128GB variant uses slower eMMC 5.1 storage.

Vivo G3 runs on Android 15-based OriginOS 5, although the company has not disclosed how many updates it will get.

Cameras, battery, and the rest

Getting to the cameras, the Vivo G3 has a single 13MP main sensor at the back, followed by an auxiliary lens. and a secondary camera. And at the front, we get a 5MP selfie shooter.

Vivo G3 5G - Back Design

Other than this, the Vivo G3 has a big 6,000 mAh battery, 44W charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band WiFi, and an infrared sensor.

Vivo G3 5G Specifications:

  • Display: 6.74-inch IPS panel, HD resolution (720 x 1600) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G (6nm)
  • Memory: 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM
  • Storage: 128GB (eMMC 5.1) or 256GB (UFS 2.2) (expandable)
  • Cameras: 13MP f/2.2 rear + 5MP f/2.2 selfie
  • Battery: 6,000 mAh with 44W charging

When it comes to performance, Tecno Spark Go 5G houses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 (6nm) chipset. Alongside 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while it runs on Android 15-based HiOS 15.

And this budget phone is packed with a lot of AI features as well. Like Tecno’s very own AI assistant, Ella. The Ella AI assistant supports different Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, and Bangla. Whereas it even comes bundled with an AI writing assistant and Google’s Circle to Search tool.

This handset brings Tecno’s “No Network Communication” feature as well. We first saw this feature on the recently launched Tecno Spark Go 2, and what it does is essentially allow Tecno users to make phone calls or send messages without cellular or WiFi service.

JBL Boombox 4 launched in China with 210W power output

0

JBL just dropped the Boombox 4 in China, and it appears to pack some decent upgrades over its predecessor. They’re positioning this as their “flagship portable speaker” with enough power to fill any outdoor space. So, let’s dive into this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest JBL Boombox 4, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

JBL Boombox 4 Overview

Design and Portability

JBL Boombox 4 price in Nepal

The Boombox 4 gets a complete redesign that’s actually 12% lighter than the Boombox 3, which is impressive considering the power bump. At 5.89 kg, it’s indeed a hefty speaker, but you also get an integrated handle, such that you can carry this around anywhere. You’re getting three color options: black, blue, and camouflage.

The dimensions come in at 506.4 x 262.9 x 212.9 mm, so this is quite big, and as mentioned earlier, it’s definitely portable but not exactly pocket-friendly. But then again, you’re not buying a Boombox for subtle background music.

Sound and power

JBL Boombox 4 packs 7 drivers total – dual 5-inch woofers, dual 0.75-inch tweeters, and 3 passive radiators. Power output hits 210W RMS when plugged in and drops to 180W RMS on battery.

If you wonder if this also features some kind of AI gimmick, then well, your intuition was correct as they’ve added an AI Sound Boost algorithm that’s supposed to deliver more “dynamic and balanced audio.” Plus, there’s a dedicated Bass Boost button with two levels, because apparently one level of earth-shaking bass wasn’t enough.

Battery and Charging

The 99Wh internal battery on the JBL Boombox 4 delivers 28 hours of playback, extendable to 34 hours with something called Playtime Boost. It doubles as a 30W power bank with 20V/1.5A PPS output. So you can charge your phone while the speaker is blasting tunes. Fast charging works through both USB-C and AC ports.

Connectivity and Features

You’re getting Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast support for multi-speaker pairing. It can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, so switching between phones won’t be a hassle.

The USB-C port supports lossless playback with a built-in DAC. And with an IP68 rating, you can literally submerge this thing without worrying.

JBL Boombox 4 Specifications

  • Drivers: 7 total (dual 5-inch woofers, dual 0.75-inch tweeters, 3 passive radiators)
  • Power Output: 210W RMS (plugged), 180W RMS (battery)
  • Battery: 99Wh, 28-34 hours of playback
  • Charging: Fast charging via USB-C and AC, 30W power bank output
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.4, Auracast, dual device connection, USB-C lossless
  • Durability: IP68 dust and water resistance
  • Dimensions: 506.4 x 262.9 x 212.9 mm
  • Weight: 5.89kg
  • Colors: Black, Blue, Camouflage
  • Special Features: AI Sound Boost, two-level Bass Boost

The Boombox 4 is priced at CNY 3,999 (~ USD 557 / INR 48,799 / NPR 77,799) in China. When it makes it to Nepal, we expect the price of the JBL Boombox 4 speaker to be around NPR 88,999.

Insta360’s Antigravity A1 announced as world’s first 360 drone

0

Insta360 just announced the Antigravity A1, and they’re calling it the world’s first drone with built-in 8K 360 capture. This thing is designed to completely change how we think about drone footage, with some pretty wild tech that makes the drone itself disappear from videos. This article will discuss everything about the latest Insta360 Antigravity A1, including rumours, specifications, and availability.

Insta360 Antigravity A1 Overview

360 Capture and Invisible Drone Tech

Insta360 Antigravity A1 design

The standout feature here is the dual-lens system that captures everything around the drone in 8K resolution. Where it gets clever is the fact that their advanced stitching technology makes the drone completely invisible in the footage. So you’re essentially getting floating camera shots that look impossible.

You can reframe your shots after recording, export in any aspect ratio, and even apply effects like Tiny Planet. It’s basically giving you infinite camera angles from a single flight.

Flight Control and Immersive Experience

They’ve developed something called FreeMotion technology that works with Vision goggles and a Grip controller. The idea is you can look in one direction while flying in another. The live view comes with head tracking, so you’re getting an experience that’s more like VR than traditional drone flying.

The controls are designed to be intuitive with point-to-fly functionality. From where we’re getting, this seems aimed at creators who want cinematic shots without needing pilot skills.

Design and Portability

At 249g, the Antigravity A1 sits just under most registration thresholds. It is designed to be compact and travel-friendly, so you won’t need a separate bag just for your drone. They’ve included safety features like return-to-home and payload detection.

Creator Co-Development Program

Also, Insta360 is letting creators test pre-production units and contribute ideas, with a US$20,000 reward pool for suggestions they actually use.

Insta360 Antigravity A1 Specifications

  • Camera: 8K 360 capture with dual-lens system
  • Weight: 249g
  • Special Features: Invisible drone stitching, immersive live view with head tracking
  • Control: Vision goggles + Grip controller with FreeMotion technology
  • Flight Modes: Point-to-fly controls, intuitive operation
  • Safety: Return-to-home, payload detection
  • Post-Processing: Reframing, multiple aspect ratios, creative effects
  • Portability: Compact, travel-friendly design

The Insta360 A1 is scheduled for global launch in January 2026. Pricing and bundle details will be announced closer to the launch date.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE specs get leaked and is pointing toward Exynos chipset

0

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE is shaping up to be an interesting mid-range option, with leaks pointing to some upgrades and a few curious downgrades. The phone’s expected to launch earlier than usual, possibly as soon as September 2025. But as concerned to the previous rumors, the upcoming phone will not actually feature the Dimensity 9400 chipset and will instead opt for their own homegrown Exynos chipset.  This article will discuss everything about the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, including leaks, specifications, and availability.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Overview

Design and Display

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

The S25 FE looks pretty much like the S24 FE and S25+, which isn’t surprising given Samsung’s design consistency lately. You’re getting a flat frame with three circular rear camera cutouts and an Infinity-O display. The lower bezel is slightly thicker, but overall it’s slimmer and lighter than the S24 FE.

At 161.3 × 76.6 × 7.4 mm and around 190-192g, it’s definitely more pocketable. The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display keeps the 1080 × 2340 resolution with 120Hz LTPO refresh rate that adapts from 1-120Hz. Gorilla Glass Victus handles protection duties. Color options include Icy Blue, Navy, Jet Black, and White. Pretty standard Samsung palette here.

Performance and Software

Some leaks say it’s getting the same Exynos 2400e from the S24 FE, while others claim a slight bump to the regular Exynos 2400. Either way, you’re looking at 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage options. One thing that caught my attention was the software situation. The S25 FE is rumored to launch with Android 16 and One UI 8, which would make it one of the first Samsung phones to ship with the latest Android version.

Camera System

The camera setup will be basically- 50MP f/1.8 main with OIS, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and 8MP f/2.4 telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front camera sits at 12MP f/2.2. Nothing groundbreaking here, but it should handle most photography needs fine.

Battery

Okay, so the battery situation is all over the place in these leaks. Some sources claim 4,900mAh with 45W wired charging, while others say 4,500mAh with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. There’s even talk that the battery might be smaller than the S24 FE’s 4,700mAh unit.

We don’t know which leak is accurate, but 45W charging seems consistent across reports. IP68 rating is confirmed though, so water resistance is covered.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Specifications (Rumors)

  • Display: 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 1080 × 2340, 120Hz LTPO
  • Processor: Exynos 2400e or Exynos 2400 (conflicting reports)
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 128GB/256GB
  • Rear Camera: 50MP main (OIS) + 12MP ultra-wide + 8MP telephoto (3x zoom, OIS)
  • Front Camera: 12MP
  • Battery: 4,500mAh or 4,900mAh (conflicting reports)
  • Charging: 45W wired, possibly 15W wireless
  • Dimensions: 161.3 × 76.6 × 7.4 mm
  • Weight: ~190-192g
  • OS: Android 16 with One UI 8
  • Other: IP68 rating, Gorilla Glass Victus

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Price and Availability

The Galaxy S25 FE is rumored to launch as early as September 19, 2025, likely in South Korea first with the US following later. European pricing leaks suggest €679, which would put it around the same ballpark as its predecessor. When it makes to Nepal, it would start at no less than NPR 95,000.

Infinix Hot 60i 5G launched with budget specs

Infinix just dropped the Hot 60i 5G in India, and it’s their latest attempt at making 5G accessible for everyone. Just under ten thousand indian rupees, they’re seem to be going after the budget crowd, providing decent features, like a 120Hz display and a Dimensity 6400 chip.  This article will discuss everything about the latest Infinix Hot 60i 5G, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Infinix Hot 60i 5G Overview

Display and Design

Infinix Hot 60i 5G Price in Nepal

You’re getting a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate and the screen peaks at 670 nits brightness. One thing that caught my attention was the fact that they switched from a punch-hole to a selfie notch design compared to the 4G version. Another thing about the design aspect, is that they have now flipped the camera module by 90 degrees, which now resembles a pixel module, but with much smaller potrude. The phone comes in four color options: Shadow Blue, Sleek Black, Monsoon Green, and Plum Red. It’s got an IP64 rating too, so basic water splashes won’t kill it.

Performance and Software

At its core is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, which handles 5G connectivity without any fuss. You’re getting 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD. Yeah, 4GB might feel tight with heavy multitasking, but for the price, i don’t you can expect much.

The phone runs Android 15-based XOS 15.1 out of the box, which is surprisingly fresh. They’ve also thrown in some Infinix AI features, though we don’t know much about what those actually do yet.

Camera and Battery

You’re getting a 50MP main rear camera with a secondary auxiliary sensor, but they downgraded the front camera from 8MP to 5MP compared to the 4G model. More often than not, budget phones sacrifice somewhere, and selfie quality seems to be it here.

But here’s where they made up for it – the battery jumps to 6,000 mAh, which is 840 mAh more than the 4G version. That’s massive for a phone at this price. It supports 18W wired charging and 10W reverse charging too.

Additional Features

They’ve packed in a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, and a dedicated microSD slot. All things considered, it’s a pretty complete package for the price point.

Infinix Hot 60i 5G Specifications

  • Display: 6.75-inch HD+ LCD, 120Hz refresh rate, 670 nits peak brightness
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 6400

  • Storage: 128GB, expandable up to 2TB via microSD
  • Rear Camera: 50MP main + auxiliary sensor
  • Front Camera: 5MP
  • Battery: 6,000 mAh with 18W charging, 10W reverse charging
  • OS: Android 15-based XOS 15.1
  • Other: IP64 rating, IR blaster, side fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity

Infinix Hot 60i 5G Price in Nepal and Availability

The phone launches in India at INR 9,299 and will be available through Flipkart and retail stores starting August 21. When it makes to Nepal, it would start at no less than NPR 17,000.
