Apple is reportedly adding new health tracking features to its next-generation AirPods Pro. The popular earbuds could soon include sensors for heart rate and temperature monitoring, bringing them closer to the health-focused features already seen in Apple’s other products like the Apple Watch. In this article, we will discuss furthermore about the upcoming AirPods Pro.
Apple AirPods Pro Rumors
A new invention?
While the new health-tracking capabilities might sound exciting, a quick reminder that these features aren’t really a new invention. Many other earbuds already include similar sensors. For instance, brands like Sennheiser and Jabra have already incorporated heart rate sensors in their earbuds, and some models even offer temperature monitoring. The Soundcore Liberty 4, the one I own, also includes heart rate sensors and works well in tracking health metrics. Apple is simply following the trend and bringing these features to its AirPods Pro lineup.
Health Sensors in the AirPods Pro
The AirPods Pro are rumored to include sensors for heart rate and temperature mapping. These updates align with Apple’s broader focus on expanding health tracking across its devices. Meanwhile, Apple has also reportedly revisited the idea of adding a camera to the AirPods. With Apple’s artificial intelligence in play, AI could also be a key focus for this product line. However, there are no confirmed details on when these features will launch or if additional health-related functionalities will be included.
Apple AirPods Pro Availability
The upcoming earbuds will likely launch around this time next year.

As with the tradition, Samsung Galaxy plans to launch a new smartphone of its S series this January or early February. A lot of work is going into the upcoming flagship phone, and we have some insight on the improved glass and other exciting details In this article, we’ll explore the latest rumors and anticipated details surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, including its specifications and more.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Rumors Roundup
2nd-gen Gorilla Armor Glass
The latest update on the Galaxy S25 Ultra suggests it will feature next-gen Gorilla Glass Armor, building on the S24 Ultra’s innovations. While the S24 introduced the first use of this technology with an anti-reflective coating, the S25 is rumored to offer improved anti-reflective properties and enhanced durability, further strengthening Samsung’s exclusive partnership with Corning
Ultra Slim Bezels
Popular tipster, Ice Universe has previously stated that the S25 Ultra will boast even thinner bezels than the competition, even beating the Xiaomi 15 and iPhone 16 Pro Max which have super thin bezels. So, Samsung is aiming for gold in the bezels matter with the S25 Ultra.
Credit:- GSMArena
As for the design, the Samsung S25 Ultra closely resembles the Samsung S24 Ultra with a 5-ring setup at the rear, thin bezels up front, a hole punch screen, and a fully flat frame and sides.
This smartphone weighs 219g making it lighter than the S24 Ultra. Previously, only the Black variant was leaked, but ICe Universe has also hinted blue and white color options.
Following the previous pattern, we can speculate the display of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to again be a 6.8-inch Super AMOLED 2X screen. It will measure the dimension of 162.8×77.6×8.2mm. For protection, it will come with a Gorilla Glass Armor.
Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite for Galaxy
Previously, there were rumours about Samsung using the Exynos chipset for their upcoming series, but the recent development suggests that the phone will indeed stick with the Qualcomm chipset. Not only that, the partnership between the two companies is still going strong as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will continue to enjoy the overclocked version of the chip. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra might actually have “Snapdragon Elite for Galaxy” instead.
Extending Battery Life
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will pack with a 5,000mAh battery and a charging of 45W, which is nothing new to its previous Ultra series. But this time something new is coming to the regular; “Battery AI”.
The primary objective of Battery AI is to extend the longevity of the batteries in these devices by up to 10%. Unlike some Chinese competitors who increase the battery capacity to achieve similar results, Samsung is rumored to be opting for the integration of AI technology into its batteries.
While the exact workings of Battery AI remain undisclosed, it is suggested that the technology will eliminate non-essential tasks to improve overall battery runtime without compromising the phone’s performance. Notably, Battery AI is expected to function without downclocking the CPU and GPU, which is seen as a positive aspect by many users.
The camera of the Samsung S Ultra variant has always been the talk of the town. However, this time except for the ultrawide sensor, the camera does not have any update. This time the flagship will feature a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN3 sensor for the ultrawide, a 200-megapixel H2 primary camera and a 10-megapixel IMX754 sensor for the 3x telephoto zoom. Samsung is sticking with the 5X sensor, which will be a 50-megapixel IMX584 sensor. So, for the front camera, it would be wise to keep the expectations low with a 12MP sensor.
Display: 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O, Gorilla Glass Armor, Adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, Vision Booster, up to 2600 nits (peak)
Resolution: QHD+ (3088 x 1440 pixels)

50MP IMX584 telephoto lens, 5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom
Front Camera: 12MP
Battery: 5000mAh with 45W fast charging, 15W wireless charging

The Ultima Boom 181 ANC arrived with a bold claim, terming it as the best earbuds under 2000. What even bolder is the company’s confidence. If you find a better TWS than this in the segment, Ultima will give you all your money back. Well, we had to run a test and we did. And without further ado, let’s get into our Ultima Boom 181 ANC review.
Before heading to the review, let’s take a quick look at the specs first.
Ultima Boom 181 ANC Specifications:
Design: In-ear, silicone tips
Drivers: 13mm Hi-fidelity drivers
Noise Canceling: Yes, 30 dB
Microphones: Quad (each: 2)
Connections: Bluetooth 5.3, HyperSync
Features: 45 ms low latency, ENC
Battery: 400mAh (case), 35mAh(on each earbuds)
Charging: Fast charging (10 minutes = 2 hours of playback)
Okay, let’s commence with the design side. The Ultima Boom 181 ANC boasts a good-looking vibe. Talking of the fit, the default ear tips were okay for my ears. Due to its lightweight profile, I didn’t feel uneasiness during the prolonged usage. I have this White colorway and you can also get this guy in Black shade if you are afraid of dirtying your earbuds too soon. Likewise, the IPX5 rating on this TWS will do well against sweats and light water splashes.
Regarding its durability, Ultima has mentioned 50,000 plus flip tests and 700 plus charge tests on its website. Well, I haven’t performed drop tests and such on this guy for obvious reasons, and let’s just hope, the build will be sturdy enough to last long.
Audio
In terms of audio, where Ultima has made a strong claim, it was just an average for me at the beginning with the default EQ profile. Boomy sound and an overwhelming amount of bass, clipping the mid and upper midrange frequencies like vocals and flute, to put into words. The vocals were quite undermined especially the female vocals (Bird of a Feather by Billie). After exploring the Ultima Link app, I found the culprit to be the excessive sub-bass boost set on the default profile.
EQ settings for Boom 181
To be honest, the default tuning doesn’t sound too good for budget earbuds and loudness is also fine. Then, I did some tuning for my liking and it got a lot better. In terms of EQ modes, there are two default options: Signature and Balanced. Likewise, the Ultima Link app looks clean and deserves some praise as it’s the first Nepali OEM app in the scene.
Tests with other Earbuds
I also tested it with Redmi Buds 5A and Anker K20i which are actually more expensive (both at NPR 2,499) than the Boom 181. Speaking of the Buds 5A, it’s got an exactly opposite kind of tuning. A neutral, flat type sound with not a lot of bass and isn’t too loud either. I found its audio to be cleaner but I bet not many people would prefer this. The ANC was pretty useless while the Boom 181’s ANC was much better, canceling low-frequency humming noises.
Meanwhile, the Anker Soundcore K20i sounds much cleaner to Ultima overall with better treble response, clarity, and dynamic range. Especially in the songs with busy composition, the K20i does a better job than the Boom 181 ANC. But the K20i is void of ANC and transparency modes, unlike the other.
Latency and Others
Okay, I also did some sessions of PUBG with the Ultima Boom 181. The company claims a 45ms low latency and in my tests, it was playable. A slight delay was noticeable but I’d term it good for casual gaming. A serious gamer will always use a wired earphone anyway. Moreover, each bud features a dual mic and it works just decent indoors while outdoors, it is just as average as every other budget earbud.
Ultima Boom 181 ANC Review: Conclusion
So, we are here on the conclusion part, folks. So, is the Ultima Boom 181 ANC, the best earbuds under 2000 in Nepal? Well, it is indeed technically. Cause’ there are literally no other options that are better than this guy. You can tune the EQ through the Ultima Link app for better audio and the pricing is just too good, considering the features like ANC, and app support, and good sound after tuning. But if it’s under Rs. 2500, I would slightly lean over the Anker K20i but its semi-in-ear design might not fit everyone’s ear. So, I’d recommend the Ultima Boom 181 ANC under 2000 rupees right now. But one thing to note, the 2000 rupees price stage its its launch offer price, otherwise, its MRP is 3,999 rupees.
