Canon, the top-tier camera maker has launched the EOS C80 camera in Nepal. This cinema camera boasts a 6K full-frame sensor and advanced features. In this article, we’ll walk through the specs, features, and expected price of the Canon EOS C80 in Nepal.
Canon EOS C80 Overview:
6K Full-frame Sensor
The main charm of the EOS C80 is the 6K full-frame sensor lying at the core. It is a back-illuminated stacked CMOS unit with the DIGIC DV 7 image processor that can minimize the rolling shutter effects. As the name implies, it can shoot 6K res videos at 30fps alongside 6K oversampling. Meanwhile, for slo-mos, it can do 4K at 120fps.
Meanwhile, there are three levels of Base ISO (800/3200/12800) for adaptation in different lighting conditions. The dual Pixel CMOS AF II tech brings a faster autofocus speed and super responsive face, eye, head body, and animal tracking as well.
Design and Body
The Canon EOS C80 boasts an approximate weight of 1.31 kg which is said to be ideal for cinema drones, gimbals, and tripods. Likewise, you get a 3.5-inch LCD touch panel with 2.76 million dots. In case you are wondering, the camera uses RF mount, so besides this, it also has PL mount support via a PL-RF Mount Adapter and EF mount support via EF-EOS R Mount Adapter.
Battery and Connectivity
Fueling the cinema camera is a BP-A30N battery. Connectivity features here include USB Type-C, HDMI, DC-IN, WiFi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

After launching a one-of-a-kind collab phone with Mattel, HMD is back on track with their “regular” repairable phones. Their latest offering takes a page from CMF Phone 1‘s book, allowing users to replace the back panel with first-party “Fusion outfits” or go a little custom even. Anyway, this article will discuss the HMD Fusion in further detail along with its price in Nepal.
HMD Fusion Overview
Design and Outfits
As I mentioned earlier, the HMD Fusion comes with replaceable backs similar to the CMF Phone 1. However, unlike the CMF offering, users don’t have to screw down the back panel every time they change it. They can simply snap into place — thanks to the Smart Pin which sits near the the phone’s bottom edge. HMD Fusion comes in Black with an exposed back and a visible battery pack by default. Despite its open nature, it is still IP54-rated — able to shrug off specs of dust and splashes of water with no issue.
HMD offers four “Fusion Outfits” (replaceable covers). Firstly, there is the casual outfit which is a basic translucent cover that comes in Blue, Magenta, and Green colours. Then there is a wireless charging outfit which does exactly what it sounds like, available in Turquoise, Black, and Magenta. Next up, they have the rugged outfit that comes in a single black colour option and gives the phone extra protection against drops and such. Lastly, there is the flashy outfit which will ship in Blue and Magenta colourings and is basically a ring light built into the phone cover. If any of those options don’t resonate with you, then you can 3D print a custom Smart Outfit using the HMD Fusion Development Toolkit V2.0.
Moving on to the phone’s hardware, it has the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 on the driver’s seat. It is accompanied by either 6GB or 8GB of memory coupled with 128GB or 256GB storage. Furthermore, HMD Fusion allows you to extend the memory and storage of the phone by up to 12GB virtually and up to 1TB via MicroSD card respectively.
On the front, it has a 6.56-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution. Additionally, it can go as bright as 600 nits and offers a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Talking of the cameras, it has two on the back. The primary shooter is a 108MP unit with autofocus and EIS. It is assisted by a measly 2MP depth sensor. In the meantime, HMD Fusion has dedicated a 50MP camera for the selfies. Everything is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging support.
In a true HMD fashion, this phone features Gen2 repairability allowing you to easily swap out the display, back cover, battery, and charging port when needed. This separates the HMD Fusion from CMF Phone 1 because, unlike the HMD, CMF does not allow manual repair of its phone to the users. Also, the Finnish company will be providing spare parts on iFixit for the coming seven years.
HMD Fusion Specifications
Design: Monotone, exposed back for replaceable/customisable attachment of back panels, IP54-rated
Battery: 5,000 mAh cell with 33W (PD and QC) charging support
Connectivity: Dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, USB 2.0 Type-C
Colour Options: Black
HMD Fusion Price in Nepal and Availability
The phone was announced on 5 September 2024 with a starting price tag of EUR 249. Similarly, it will cost GBP 199, at least for the British chaps. Meanwhile, their cross-Atlantic neighbours will only receive the phone after some time. While there’s that, we Nepali folks will not get this phone in our hands, as the brand is simply non-existent in our country. However, if the HMD Fusion did arrive in Nepal by some miracle, we expect its price to start at NPR 44,499.

Even though the Honor MagicBook Art 14 has been around for some time, the laptop just received a Snapdragon update. That is not the only highlight of this device though, as it takes a really innovative approach with its webcam too! Let’s discuss the Honor MagicBook Art 14 more in this article and its expected price in Nepal too.
Honor MagicBook Art 14 Overview
Detachable Webcam
The main “wow” factor of this laptop is definitely its webcam. Normally, it sits hidden inside the laptop, pretending to be a button on the side. However, after you press it, the 1080P FHD camera reveals itself. Then you can magnetically attach it on top of your screen and voila! It works just like a regular webcam, which you can also flip to the other side if you want to show whatever is behind you.
Design and Display
This innovative approach has allowed Honor to keep thin bezels around the screen of the MagicBook Art 14. Despite having an all-metal body, the laptop is slim and light measuring just 11.50 mm in thickness and weighing approximately 1.03 kg. It comes in two colours: monotone Emerald Green, and Sunrise White with a gradient finish.
Due to its thin build, it does not cram wide port options. However, with a Thunderbolt 4, a full-function USB-C, one USB-A, an HDMI, and a combo audio jack, it should facilitate regular folks and business personnel well enough.
Moving on to the front, this laptop comes with a 14.6-inch touchscreen. It is an OLED panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 3.1K resolution. The Honor MagicBook Art 14 can switch between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rate and offers 700 nits of typical brightness. It also covers 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and gives a vibrant viewing experience. Furthermore, it has TÜV Rheinland hardware-level low blue light and flicker-free certification along with 4,320Hz PWM dimming.
The Honor MagicBook Art 14 comes in two processor choices — Intel and Qualcomm. If you choose Intel you can either have Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Ultra 7 155H. Meanwhile, if you go with Qualcomm, it appears the only option available right now is the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100. It isn’t the strongest processor in the series, but it should hold enough capability to help you power through your tasks and on-device AI demands.
Additionally, the laptop can be configured with dual-channel LPDDR5X memory with a frequency of 7,467MHz. There are only two choices for the RAM capacity, which are 16GB and 32GB. Contrarily, the Honor MagicBook Art 14 comes in a single storage option i.e. 1TB. Powering everything is a 60Wh battery, which can fully charge in just over 1.5 hours. The company does not clarify the wattage of the charging speed though. Likewise, the laptop has a cooling system as well, complete with a heat dissipation vapour chamber.
Honor MagicBook Art 14 Specifications
Design and Build: Thin and light, All-metal body, Monotone or gradient finish
Audio: Six speakers with Spatial Audio and DTS:X certification + triple-mic setup
Input: Full-size, touchpad with five-point multi-touch support
Ports: 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 1x HDMI 2.1-TDMS, 1x 3.5mm Headphone jack
Connectivity: Tri-band WiFi 6E, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC
Sensors: Ambient Light, Hall, Touch fingerprint (integrated into power button)
Battery: 60Wh Lithium-polymer
Charging: 100% in about 95 minutes
Colours: Emerald Green, Sunrise White
Honor MagicBook Art 14 Price in Nepal and Availability
This laptop was initially launched with Intel processors in China — its home country a few months back. In the meantime, Honor MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon was announced at the IFA 2024 with expansion to other regions. The Intel options start at CNY 7,999 and go up to CNY 9,499. However, the price of the Qualcomm variant is still under wraps.
Regardless, if the Honor MagicBook Art 14 makes its way to Nepal, we expect its price to start at NPR 181,999.

Well, well, well! It’s that time of the year again! Yes, after so much hush-hush, finally the new iPhones are coming. Not just iPhone though. Apple has dubbed this event “It’s Glowtime.” and we are here to discuss the details of it and also talk about what might go down.
Apple “It’s Glowtime.” Event Overview
Initially, Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman predicted the event would be held on 10 September. However, he was off the mark by a day. Regardless, here is what you can expect from the event:
New iPhones, of course
The iPhone 16 series is definitely the key highlight of the Apple “It’s Glowtime.” event. The series will include the base model, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are also expected to come with a separate camera button on the left corner of the iPhone. Moreover, rumours hint that the new iPhones will come with a few design tweaks and Apple A18 chipsets across the board. The Pro models will obviously go with the Pro chipset. Meanwhile, the base and the Plus variants will be getting the regular Apple A18 processor, which might be the Apple A17 Pro in disguise.
For more detailed information about the iPhone series, please check out here:
The American tech giant announced that it was revamping its voice assistant — Siri in the WWDC24 “Action Packed.” event back in June. During the announcement, we saw that the entire screen glowed when activating Siri. And now we know that there will be a redesigned Siri, which is no longer a floating orb at the bottom of your screen, instead it now extends along the edges of your display.
In the same event, Apple also introduced iOS 18, which has been available in beta for some time now. We can expect the final release of the OS at the event. Furthermore, the new iPhone should boot on iOS 18 straight out of the box. However, it seems like the much-expected Apple Intelligence features won’t be available in IOS 18.0, a clear disappointment for many eagerly awaiting these advancements.
Sources are also expecting the launch of the tenth-generation Apple Watch at the “It’s Glowtime.” event. Ideally, it would be named “Apple Watch 10”. However, we know what happened with the iPhone naming. So, there is a chance that it might be dubbed “Apple Watch X” instead.
There isn’t much buzz about what the new Apple Watch will bring. However, it is expected to come with an upgraded chip, a slimmer case, and possibly an Action button similar to that on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Additionally, a switch to a microLED display and the ability to detect hypertension and sleep apnea are in the talks. If this turns out to be true, the new feature might not be available at launch but could be introduced later via a software update to watchOS 11.
Along with that, there is also chatter of an Apple Watch Ultra 3. Even though the current version was released just last year it might seem early for a new model, but Apple could be adding new features, like better specs, new watch faces, and possibly improved battery life. We will have to wait and watch what happens with the watch this time. 👀
New AirPods?
Apple doesn’t update its earbuds every year like its other devices. The last time the base AirPods got an update was in 2021 with the introduction of 3rd Gen. The Pro model did get a refresh in 2022, but it’s been some time since the regular AirPods got one. Hence, Apple will likely launch the AirPods 4th Gen in the “It’s Glowtime.” event.
There are talks of AirPods rocking IR blasters, but that won’t happen until 2026. Apple will apparently be giving active noise cancellation to the base AirPods this time. Sources speculate that this move is in response to Samsung offering ANC on their base Buds3. It’s good news regardless of whatever the intent was. Additionally, the AirPods 4th Gen will likely switch to USB-C charging as well.
Additionally, Mark Gurman has hinted that we’ll see two new AirPods today, so the other one is mostly likely the AirPods Max 2 which will be announced today but will “be coming later” most likely at the October event.
No Ipads?
While an iPad may not be on the immediate list of the much-anticipated “It’s Glowtime.”, we can look forward to the possibility of a redesigned Mac mini and the debut of M4-powered MacBooks. For that stay tuned for an exciting October.
When and where to watch the Apple “It’s Glowtime.” Event?
The Apple “It’s Glowtime.” event will be held on 9 September 2024 at 10 AM PST. The high-profile individuals who received an invite will join the event in person at the Steve Jobs Theatre at Apple Park. For us regular folks, we can tune into the live stream of the event on Apple’s official website, YouTube, or Apple TV. Lastly, for Nepali viewers, the event will go live at 10:45 PM on the same day. With that, it is important to remember that if any of the products mentioned above are not released today, they will likely be launched at the October event.
Meanwhile, check out the top 10 features on iOS 18 you must know:

Mid-last year Nubia launched its first-ever (gaming) tablet — the Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet. Now the company has launched a Pro version/follow-up of sorts to it. In this article, we will look at the Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro in further detail while also discussing its potential price in Nepal.
Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro Overview
Design and Display
Right off the bat, the Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro gives pro-gamer vibes. It has a CNC-milled aviation-grade aluminium unibody with a strip of aluminosilicate glass on the side, exposing the tablet internals. There is also an RGB LED light that adds to the feel of the tablet. The tablet is available in two colour options: Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wings and Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night. In simpler words, black and white.
Moving on to the front, it dons a 10.9-inch LCD stretching 2.8K in resolution. It also offers a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and 840Hz instant touch sampling rate. Furthermore, it carries for SGS certification for low blue light emission. We sadly do not know the colour depth or the peak brightness the Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro offers.
Performance
The Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro does not hold back in the performance department either. It is led by an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that can achieve a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz. Additionally, the GPU on this thing can hit a frequency of 1GHz as well. In contrast, the regular chipset caps out at a CPU and GPU frequency of 3.3GHz and 0.77GHz respectively.
The processor is further assisted by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The memory choice includes 12GB, 16GB, and a whopping 24GB capacity. Similarly, for storage, you can choose between 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. When listing them individually that may sound like a lot, but the Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro is actually available in just three configurations. The memory and storage are coupled with one another on the same hierarchy. Software-wise, it boots on Android 14 with REDMAGIC OS 9.5 on top.
With all the beefy hardware and gaming going on, the insides of the Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro will heat up for sure. This is why, the company has equipped the device with the “PAD Magic Cooling ICE 2.0”. The cooling system includes an actual 17 mm x 17 mm centrifugal fan inside that can go up to 20,000 RPM. This fan is surely one of the main highlights of the tablet, as it is likely the first time we are seeing something like this on a tablet. Other than that, the cooling system includes nine other components including a bunch of alloy, graphene, and copper foils for heat dissipation, air circulation ducts, heat pipe, and thermal gel. The tablet utilises even its aluminium back panel to keep the thermals in check.
Everything is powered by a 10,100 mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging. It has a main camera and a selfie camera which are 50MP and 20MP, in the same order. Moreover, the tablet packs a quad-speaker setup and an 0815 dual X-axis linear motor to enhance the gaming experience. It also has a triple-microphone setup clearer communication. There is a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button on the top of the frame (which turns into a side when held horizontally). The NFC tag sits in the same vicinity as well. Lastly, the Nubia Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro can be used like a laptop by attaching a keyboard too.
