A new business-focused Dell laptop has hit the Nepali market. The new Vostro 3520 is a 15-inch notebook for business personnel and small enterprises powered by 12th Gen Intel CPUs. Here, we will discuss the specs, features, latest price, and availability of Dell Vostro 15 3520 in Nepal.
Dell Vostro 15 3520 Overview:
Design and Display
As expected of a 3000-series Vostro laptop, the design of the Vostro 15 3520 is not anything to write home about. It comes in a 15-inch chassis that weighs 1.66 kg. Dell offers the laptop in two builds, one with an all-plastic design and the other with an aluminum lid. One thing worth mentioning is the hinge which lifts the laptop’s base slightly when opened. This makes for a comfortable typing experience while also increasing the base clearance of the chassis where air intake vents and dual speakers are located.
It sports a 15.6-inch display with noticeable bezels. The top one even houses a 720p webcam with an integrated microphone. The cheaper models feature a TN panel with HD resolution, whereas higher-end models have 120Hz FHD IPS panels. Both cover 45% of the NTSC gamut, while the IPS panel is marginally brighter at 250 nits.
In terms of internal hardware, the Dell Vostro 15 3520 has a lot of options. First, you can choose between 11th Gen Tiger Lake and 12th Gen Alder Lake processors. Then you can go with the cheaper Celeron and Pentium CPUs or the more powerful Intel Core i3, i5, and i7. The highest you can go is the 10-core Core i7-1255U.
On the GPU front, the Vostro 3520 is configurable with up to entry-level NVIDIA MX550 discrete graphics. However, it’s reserved for higher-end models, and the majority just ship with Intel’s integrated solution.
In terms of connectivity, the Dell Vostro 15 3520 features three USB ports, an HDMI, an ethernet, an SD card reader, and a headphone jack. Oddly, Dell has excluded a Type-C port, making you pay extra if you need it. The laptop comes with the Trusted Platform Module 2.0 security chip with an additional option for a Windows Hello-ready fingerprint reader.

Design and Build: 358.50 x 235.56 x 19.96-22.47; 1.66 kg

Tecno has announced its latest concept smartphone, the Phantom Ultimate 2, which features a tri-fold design. The teaser provided by Tecno showcases some incredible highlights of this concept phone which can not only challenge the likes of foldables but also full-sized tablets. This article discusses the Tecno Phantom Ultima 2, including its design and how this concept phone would work.
Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 Overview
Design and Display
This latest “Concept” phone is their first one as they previously announced the rollable phone a couple of months back. Getting back to the trifold, when folded, the Phantom Ultimate 2 has a 6.48-inch display. However, when fully unfolded, the screen expands to 10 inches with a resolution of 1,620 x 2,880 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio. Tecno claims this device is the first foldable to incorporate TDDI technology, integrating the display driver and touch sensor on a single chip. Additionally, the device supports screen hovering and features a thin design, measuring just 11mm when folded.
The Phantom Ultimate 2 uses a self-developed dual hinge mechanism, which has been tested for 300,000 folds. The dual hinges are designed to minimize the screen crease in the middle and allow for various modes, such as laptop mode, where the bottom half of the screen folds into a keyboard, and tent mode, for dual-screen conversations with live translation.
Multitasking Beast
Tri-fold concept phone unveiled by TECNO 🤩 Phantom Ultimate 2
It has a 6.48-inch display when folded and opens up to a 10-inch 3K OLED panel that can be arranged in different ways. Prototype measures just 11mm thick when folded. Galaxy Z Fold6 is 12.1mm.
The device also supports multi-window mode, which allows users to run three or more apps simultaneously. Moreover, Tecno envisions several unique use cases for the device, although it remains a concept. Despite all this, there is no confirmation regarding what would power this device. But in any case, we expect it to feature a flagship chipset such that it can handle multitasking efficiently.
Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 Availability and Launch Date
While Tecno’s Phantom Ultimate 2 is still in the concept stage, we remind you that Huawei reportedly plans to launch its tri-fold device very soon. The Huawei device has been seen with its CEO multiple times, suggesting it may enter the market shortly. Stay tuned! We will bring more updates regarding the upcoming Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2, including its launch and pricing.
Barbie is one of the largest IPs and even got a film last year grossing nearly 1.5 billion USD at the box office. Now Mattel Inc. (creator/owner of the Barbie brand) is partnering with HMD to create a phone. In this article, we will be discussing the HMD Barbie Phone, the beauty of it, and its price in Nepal.
HMD Barbie Phone Overview
A little bit of sparkle
First things first, it wouldn’t be a cool collaboration with a dazzle of its own. So, the HMD Barbie Phone is bundled with some cool accessories. It comes with two back covers for more flair, a beaded lanyard with attachable charms, and some stickers and gems. Furthermore, you also get a USB-A to USB-C cable and a cleaning cloth, both of which are pink.
It doesn’t stop there though. Even the removable battery of the HMD Barbie Phone is pink! The phone’s UI is customised as well, with Barbie-themed icons, wallpapers, and ringtones. The iconic Snake game has been converted to Malibu Snake. Moreover, HMD has apparently managed to hide in some other easter eggs. This phone is all about self-care too, which is why there are no social media apps here. In addition to that, it offers digital balance tips and Barbie meditation. Lastly, the phone comes inside a pink jewellery box.
Now for the phone itself
While all the Barbie-themed nitty-gritty is cool and fun, the hardware of the phone is equally important. And about that, the HMD Barbie Phone is pretty much the same as the Nokia 2660 Flip. Also, there are two different variations of the phone, depending on the market. Let’s discuss…
Design and Display
Regarding the design, the HMD Barbie Phone definitely looks like the part with the Power Pink colour and flip phone form factor. It has the “Barbie” branding on pretty much all sides. There is a little gap on the hinge for the lanyard to go in. Likewise, the front panel of the phone is pretty much a mirror with a silver coating.
Underneath the reflective layer sits a secondary display. Yes, it is a dual-display phone just like the modern-day flip phones. However, it is just a 1.77-inch unit with QQVGA (160 x 120 pixels) resolution. It is not a touch panel, so obviously it has limited functionality. Inside, lies a little larger i.e. 2.8-inch display with QVGA (320x 240 pixels) resolution.
For the international audience, the HMD Barbie Phone comes with the UNISOC T107 processor under its helm. It is paired with 64MB RAM and 128MB internal storage combo. The phone boots on S30+ OS and comes with a measly 0.3MP camera. Likewise, there is no mention of navigation or WiFi support on the global version. It has dual SIM 4G support and Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity though.
Meanwhile, the American consumers get Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset. It is a quad-core silicon with 28nm fabrication while the UNISOC offering is a single-core 22nm unit. Additionally, the RAM and storage size on the American variant of the HMD Barbie Phone is larger at 512MB and 4GB respectively. It boots on KaiOS 3.1 and has a bigger 5MP snapper. It also supports WiFi and navigation. However, the US variant only fits a single SIM and gets an older version of Bluetooth.
Both phones get a 1,450mAh battery and expandable storage support of up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
