Huawei has officially launched the Watch Fit 4 Pro, positioning it as an affordable alternative to the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Design and Display

The Watch Fit 4 Pro features a titanium alloy bezel and sapphire glass screen, offering durability and a lightweight design at just 30.4 grams. It does give a vibe of the flagship and more expensive Watch Ultra 2 from Apple.

You get a 5ATM rating for water resistance under the ISO 22810:2010 standard, indicating it can withstand up to 50 meters of static water pressure for 10 minutes. Likewise, there is an IP6X rating for protection against dust. It supports free dives at depths of up to 40 meters, complying with the EN13319 standard for diving accessories

As for the screen, there is a 1.82-inch AMOLED display here delivering a brightness of 3,000 nits and a pixel density of 347 PPI. To compare, the Watch Ultra 2 boasts 326 PPI.

Moving on, the Watch Fit 4 Pro gets its fuel from a 400mAh battery. It offers up to 10 days of battery life in power-saving mode and 7 days with regular use. It supports Qi wireless charging and can fully charge in just 60 minutes. Running on HarmonyOS 5.1, the Watch Fit 4 Pro is compatible with Android and iOS devices via the Huawei Health app.

Huawei has launched its new smartwatch lineup at an event in Berlin, Germany. The lineup includes the Huawei Watch 5, Watch Fit 4, and Watch Fit 4 Pro. The Watch 5 introduces updates in design, health features, and connectivity. Huawei Watch 5 Overview

Design and Materials

Huawei Watch 5 comes in two sizes: 46 mm and 42 mm. The 46 mm model includes three aerospace-grade titanium variants and one stainless steel version. The 42 mm variant is available only in stainless steel. Both models use sapphire glass for display protection.

Display and Color

The 46 mm version features a 1.43-inch display, while the 42 mm version has a 1.32-inch display. The color finish is achieved through an oxidation-based process.

Sensors and Health Tracking

The Watch 5 uses a new X-Tap sensor system, combining pressure sensor, fingertip PPG, and ECG electrode. It measures smaller arterial blood flow for better tracking.
In addition, the Health Glance feature tracks nine metrics in 60 seconds, including heart rate, ECG, SpO₂, stress, and sleep breathing.

Modes and Battery

There are two modes: Standard Mode and Ultra-Long Battery Life Mode. Standard Mode keeps all features active, while the battery mode disables most features but keeps health tracking. Mode switching takes a few seconds. Charging takes 60 minutes for the 42 mm model and 90 minutes for the 46 mm. The Watch 5 supports over 100 sports modes.
