Are you thinking of getting a gaming laptop in Nepal, but don’t have a deep pocket? Don’t worry! We have got you covered. While one could easily get decent budget gaming laptops under 1 lakh in previous years, this is no longer the case. The prices of laptops in Nepal have gone up since the beginning of the pandemic. Thus, you need to spend at least 1 lakh for a decent budget gaming laptop.
How to buy a budget gaming laptop in Nepal?
Let’s first start with the things that you should consider before buying an entry-level gaming laptop. At this price range, you can’t hope for the latest and greatest graphics. The most readily available card for laptops is going to be an RTX 2050 with DLSS support. Sometimes, you might get lucky and score a deal on an RTX 3050 (4GB / 6GB) or even RTX 4050.
As for CPU, you can go with either Intel or AMD as long as you are getting the H-series processors (Intel 13th Gen or Ryzen 7000/8000 series). Instead, pay more attention to RAM and storage. Most gaming laptops under NPR 1 lakh in Nepal ship with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD, which is not enough for gaming in the long run. So, upgrade to 16GB RAM whenever you can, even if it means going over the budget by a bit.
120 – 144Hz screens are common, but higher refresh rates should not bother you much unless you are into competitive gaming. Most laptops in this price range come with panels with 250 nits of brightness and 45% of NTSC coverage. Things like portable form factor, metal body, MUX switch, and RGB backlighting are rare.
You should also pay attention to aspects such as build and thermals. That being said, RGB backlighting should not be a top priority when choosing a budget gaming laptop. Also, make sure the laptop you are purchasing is a genuine one. For this, always opt for reliable and reputable stores whenever possible, even if it means paying some extra bucks.
Best Budget Gaming Laptops in Nepal
Lenovo LOQ 15
And kicking off our list of best budget gaming laptops in Nepal is the Lenovo LOQ 15. It delivers good value with Intel’s 12th Gen i5-12450HX processor, fast 512GB SSD, and dedicated RTX 2050 graphics, which makes it capable of handling most eSports titles and also a bunch of AAA games on medium settings.
The LOQ 15 we’ve seen listed does come with just 8GB of DDR5 RAM, although you can easily upgrade it to up to 16GB via its two SO-DIMM slots.
So yeah, while the Lenovo LOQ 15 isn’t winning in terms of raw performance, particularly because of its RTX 2050 GPU, we absolutely love its display. Since you’re looking at a 15.6″ FHD 144Hz display with 100% sRGB. Yes, 100% sRGB. Besides this, it also has a nice backlit keyboard and Nahimic-tuned speakers to complete the gaming experience.
The second spot on our list of the best budget gaming laptops in Nepal goes to the Asus TUF A15 FA506 (2023). And compared to the LOQ 15 above, this one has a more powerful CPU and a more powerful GPU as well.
So in terms of CPU, the TUF A15 is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 7435HS, which is an 8 cores / 16 threads processor. This has been paired with a 4GB RTX 3050 GPU that can sip up to 75W of power. Whereas in terms of memory, you get 16GB of DDR5 RAM (expandable up to 32GB) and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage.
Opening the lid leads you to a 15.6-inch IPS-level Full HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Adaptive-Sync. It’s not as color-accurate as the LOQ 15, but is perfectly fine for gaming and casual usage. For connectivity, the TUF A15 offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports, RJ45 LAN, and a 3.5mm combo jack. It runs on a 48Wh battery supported by a 180W charger.
Finally, the Acer Nitro V 15 secures the top spot on our list of the best budget gaming laptops under 1 lakh in Nepal. For just around NPR 106,000, you’re getting the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 paired with AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS CPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 512GB SSD. A combo powerful enough to crush most modern games at 1080p.
And as you may know, one of the biggest strengths of the RTX 4050 is its support for NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 (Deep Learning Super Sampling). This includes a feature called “Frame Generation” that generates entirely new frames using AI, which is a step above the simple upscaling process found on older generations of RTX GPUs.
This one also doesn’t have as color-accurate a display as the LOQ 15 (covering around 66% of sRGB gamut), but that’s not a dealbreaker. You also get a nice backlit keyboard here and a strong I/O selection, which includes one USB4 (Type-C) and one HDMI 2.1 port.
Overall, the Acer Nitro V 15 is undoubtedly the best budget gaming laptop you can buy in Nepal right now, offering good value for its hardware at just around 1 lakh rupees. And thanks to DLSS 3 support, it punches well above its weight class in gaming performance. Granted that the game you’re playing supports DLSS 3.

Sony has officially launched the WH-1000XM6, the latest generation in its critically acclaimed noise-canceling headphone lineup. The XM6 builds on the foundation of its predecessor with smarter internals, improved noise cancellation, and a refined design. Here in the piece of news, we’ll walk through the specs, features, and expected price of the Sony WH-1000XM6 in Nepal.
Sony WH-1000XM6 Overview
Design
In terms of design, the WH-1000XM6 retains the same clean, minimalist aesthetic introduced with the XM5, but introduces subtle refinements that enhance usability. The headband and earcups now feature a slightly reworked hinge mechanism that allows the headphones to fold inward again—something the XM5 dropped in favor of a sleeker profile. This tweak brings back better portability without sacrificing comfort or style.
A new chip
Under the hood, the WH-1000XM6 is powered by Sony’s new QN3 chip, replacing the older QN1 processor. Sony claims this new HD noise-canceling processor is seven times faster, enabling more intelligent adaptive noise control and potentially sharper sound tuning. The faster processing also helps the headphones respond more quickly to changing environments, ideal for city commuters or frequent travelers.
Sony has also upgraded the microphone array. The WH-1000XM6 features a six-microphone beamforming system powered by AI, aimed at significantly enhancing voice clarity during calls. This addresses one of the minor shortcomings of the XM5, which had good but not great call performance.
Connectivity and Others
The WH-1000XM6 supports Bluetooth 5.3, LE Audio, and multipoint pairing, letting users connect to two devices at once. Whether you’re switching between your phone and laptop or taking calls while listening to music, the XM6 is built for smooth multitasking.
While Sony hasn’t added features like an IP rating for water resistance yet, the refinements in design, processing power, and microphone are commendable.
Features: Auto NC Optimizer, DSEE Extreme, Edge AI, 360 Reality Audio, Speak-to-Chat, Precise Voice Pickup, Multipoint Connectivity, Touch Controls, Foldable Design, Magnetic Clasp Carrying Case
Water Resistance: No official IP rating

Lenovo has launched the IdeaPad Slim 3i Gen 10 (2025) in Nepal, bringing notable upgrades over its predecessors. Including a taller 16:10 display, but with older 13th Gen Intel processors. In this article, let’s take a deeper dive into the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i Gen 10 (2025), its specifications, official price in Nepal, and availability details.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i (2025) Overview:
Design and Display
Lenovo has given the IdeaPad Slim 3i (2025) a welcome refresh, especially in the display department. One of the biggest upgrades in this year’s model is the shift from the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio to a taller 16:10 panel. This change brings more vertical screen space, which is a major plus for productivity tasks like reading documents, browsing the web, or coding.
In terms of build, it offers a solid yet lightweight chassis made from durable PC-ABS material, making it both sturdy and portable. Weighing just 1.37 kg and measuring 17.9mm thick, it’s designed for easy mobility without compromising on durability. While it doesn’t use premium materials like metal, the construction is decent for everyday use, offering a basic level of durability. The design is straightforward and functional, with practical elements like a privacy shutter on the webcam and a minimalistic look, focusing more on utility than flashy aesthetics.
Performance and Memory
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i (2025) offers two processor options from Intel’s 13th Gen H-series lineup. One features an Intel Core i5-13420H with 8 cores (4 performance and 4 efficiency) and 12 threads, running at a base clock of 2.1GHz and boosting up to 4.6GHz. The higher-end option is powered by the Core i7-13620H processor, which has 10 cores (6 performance and 4 efficiency) and 16 threads, with boost speeds reaching 4.9GHz.
In terms of memory, the higher-end configuration includes 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 4800 MHz, soldered onto the motherboard. The other variant comes with a dual-channel 16GB setup combining 8GB soldered RAM plus an 8GB SO-DIMM module, allowing expandability up to 24 GB.
The IdeaPad Slim 3i’s battery capacity is somewhat underwhelming because of its 50Wh unit. This is below average for laptops in this class and could result in shorter usage times between charges. Although Lenovo’s “Rapid Charge Boost” allows quick top-ups, users looking for all-day battery life might find this limiting.
For connectivity, both models feature a practical selection of ports including 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (supporting Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.2), 1x HDMI 1.4, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack, and an SD card reader covering most everyday needs for external devices, displays, and audio accessories.

A while ago, Realme launched the GT 7 with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset in China. This smartphone is now set to launch in India on 27th May with a different chipset. It is going to be the first phone ever to use the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor. In this article, we will discuss the upcoming Realme GT 7, including its specifications and expected price in Nepal.
Realme GT 7 Overview:
Performance and Battery
The company has revealed in a press release that the upcoming Realme GT 7 will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e (4nm) with a Cortex-X4 prime core. With this, the phone managed to score more than 2.45 million on AnTuTu. Realme says the GT 7 phone will also have a special “GT Boost” mode and can run BGMI smoothly at 120 fps for up to six hours. It’s designed to adjust performance very precisely, giving you smooth gameplay with less power use and better heat control.
The Realme GT 7 is also confirmed to come with a large 7,000mAh battery that includes 10% silicon anode technology. It will support 120W fast charging, allowing it to charge from 1% to 50% in just 15 minutes. The phone will also offer 7.5W reverse charging, so it can be used to charge other devices. A special chip inside the phone is designed to keep it much cooler (up to 95% less heat) and make the battery last up to three times longer.
While all the information regarding the rest of the phone’s specs has yet to be announced, we are assuming it will be the same as its Chinese variant. Which means the base model is slimmer, lighter, and more compact than the Realme GT 7 Pro (review).
On the front, it features a sharp 6.78-inch 144Hz display with 6,000 nits of peak brightness (HDR), though it lacks LTPO tech.
Camera and others
When it comes to the camera, the Realme GT 7 has a simpler setup than the Pro, but it still holds its own. There’s a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS (compared to the Pro’s IMX906), and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter using an OmniVision OV08D10 (versus IMX355 on the Pro). These cameras do a solid job in most lighting conditions, although low-light shots might not be their strength.
On the front, you get a 16MP Sony IMX480 selfie shooter. Rear video maxes out at 4K 60 fps, and the front records up to 1080p at 60 fps.
For connectivity, Realme GT 7 features dual 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and even an IR blaster. Although it skips a headphone jack, you do get stereo speakers here. Realme also added second-gen bypass charging, which pulls power straight from the wall, helping reduce battery wear. The phone keeps cool thanks to a large vapor chamber, a graphene layer, and a conductive glass fiber back.
In India, the Realme GT 7 is officially arriving on May 27. There are no pricing details yet, but considering its base model cost CNY 2,599 (~ INR 30,999) in China, the GT 7’s starting price in India could be around INR 35,999. As such, we expect the price of Realme GT 7 in Nepal to start at NPR 66,999 if and when it launches here.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Rumors
Gamery Vibe
As the teasers have surfaced through Infinix Malaysia’s social media handle, we now get a slight bit of the Infinix Note 30’s looks. It features a rectangular camera module with RGB light strips. The edges look slightly curved while the middle frame is likely flat. Plus, what’s confirmed is that the phone will come with capacitive shoulder triggers for those aima and shoot actions on BR titles like PUBG and COD Warzone Mobile.
As for the display, the Infinix Note 30 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED panel with a hole punch cutout. We can expect a FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio, just like its predecessor, the GT Infinix GT 20 Pro.
Performance and Camera
Under the hood, the GT 30 Pro will pack a Dimensity 8350 SoC. This 4nm fabbed 5G chipset features 1x Cortex-A715 core at 3.3GHz, 3x Cortex-A715 cores at 3.2GHz, and 4x Cortex-A510 cores at 2.2GHz. Handling the graphics here is the Mali-G615 MP6 GPU. It is likely to be paired with 8/12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Meanwhile, we could see a 108MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide unit.
Battery, Connectivity, and Others
Moving on, the rumor mills are also pointing towards a 5,500mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support. Connectivity features will include WiFi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
If you were looking to get a Nothing Phone in Nepal and not so sure about which to pick, you’ve arrived at the right place. In this article, we’ll walk through all the available Nothing Phones alongside their price(s) in Nepal, their specifications, and individual mini-reviews to aid your purchasing decisions.
Nothing in Nepal: Brand Overview
Nothing is a very young brand founded in 2021 by (ex) OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. It sprung into the limelight overnight because of its unique transparent aesthetic and design-centric products. The brand has unveiled three phones so far, alongside a few accessories and wearables under the CMF tag. Its offerings are mainly targeted at Gen Z and Gen Alpha who seek innovation in technology. A striking design paired with fluid software to make smartphones fun again! The brand made its first entry into Nepal in April 2023.
Left: Nirvana Chaudhary (CG Group), Right: Carl Pei (Nothing)
Initially, Phone (1) was sold in Nepal through Tech Life Studios. Now, Chaudhary Group is the official distributor of Nothing Products in Nepal. They’ve recently introduced the Phone (2) to the market and are bringing the more affordable (2a) very soon.
The CMF Phone (1) is the very first phone from the Nothing offshoot brand. Continuing the unique design approach, this smartphone stands out in the crowd with a removable back cover and a rotating dial. It is available in two shades in Nepal: Black and Green. Likewise, the phone boots on Nothing OS 2.6, offering a smooth and optimized software experience.
A newly announced Dimensity 7300 SoC powers this phone, which is actually less powerful than the Dimensity 7200 chip. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. As for the optics, there is a 50MP main shooter alongside a 2MP portrait lens. Likewise, there is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ certification. Lastly, the phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.
Meanwhile, read all the prices and specs of Nothing products here
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is the second offering from the Nothing subbrand. This midrange phone bears some impressive specs and a unique design, of course. Talking of the latter, you still get a modular body with some screws and a nice looking camera module on top. Nothing ships this guy in three colors: Black, Orange, and White.
Likewise, you get a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout. Powering the things from the core is the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chipset, the same SoC from the CMF Phone (1). It’s paired with 8 gigs of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, there is a new 50MP 2x telephoto unit for portraits, followed by a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide unit.
Because of popular demand, the Phone (2) shifted gears into premium-midrange territory with a flagship-grade chipset. There came more versatile cameras, a better screen, and longer battery life, but the core experience was still pretty similar. As such, the Phone (2) felt like a solid semi-flagship but nothing too far off from its predecessor.
Specs-wise, you’ve got a powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB of memory. The display is even bigger at 6.7 inches with thinner bezels, higher brightness, and LTPO technology. You get a better main camera with Sony’s IMX 890 sensor alongside an upgraded selfie shooter. The battery capacity is also slightly larger at 4700mAh with faster 45W charging.
Finally, there’s the Phone (2a) meant for a wider audience at a more accessible price point. On paper, this guy looks VERY compelling getting almost everything right for the price.
Catching your eye right off the bat is the iconic Nothing design with a transparent look and the “Glyph Interface“. Then you are greeted with spacious 6.7 inches of screen estate with relatively thin bezels and a punch-hole. The AMOLED display runs at 120Hz just like the Phone (2) but lacks its fancy adaptive refresh rate (LTPO) technology.
That’s all powered by a custom-tuned Dimensity 7200 (Pro) chipset based on a 4nm architecture alongside plenty of memory (up to 12/256GB) and reliable software experience (Nothing OS 2.5). The cameras are decent too, but could use some further optimization. All in all, a pretty solid deal for around NPR 50,000.
The Phone (2a) Plus is an improvised version of the standard Phone (2a) as if the naming wasn’t obvious. First up, Nothing has bumped up the performance here by providing Mediatek Dimensity 7350 SoC, which is more powerful than the Dimensity 7200 Pro on the vanilla version. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Design-wise, it still looks unique with a unique owl-like appearance on the rear, similar to its predecessor. The back showcases the same glyph pattern that has become a signature of the brand. Additionally, the color has also been updated to a sleek, metallic grey-looking design. Meanwhile, you get a dual camera setup here with a 50MP main camera (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide unit. Lastly, the phone gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The Phone (3a) from Nothing is the newcomer in the midrange scene. It brings some notable upgrades to the table. First up, the phone now features a dedicated telephoto lens for portrait photography, albeit it’s just a 2X optical one. A 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera complement it.
