AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT launched at an appealing price!

The Radeon RX 9070 XT was also announced alongside the regular RX 9070, which we have covered in a different article back at CES.In this article, we’ll cover its specs, features, and price in Nepal.

Key Features

Just like the RX 9070, the RX 9070 XT is also powered by AMD’s new RDNA 4 architecture. It also features AI-powered FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4), offering machine learning-driven upscaling and frame generation. FSR 4 is exclusive to RDNA 4 GPUs, with support in games that integrate FSR 3.1, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as mentioned in the previously written article.

The GPU is built on a 4nm process, promising improved power efficiency and better performance. Additionally, it includes second-gen AI accelerators and third-gen ray-tracing accelerators for enhanced visuals and AI-based tasks.

Performance

AMD hints that the RX 9070 XT competes with Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti in terms of performance. Getting into the nitty gritty, there’s a total of 53.9 billion transistors with 4096 stream processors and 64 compute units. The RX 9070 XT can hit a peak clock of 2.97 GHz with a base frequency of 2.4 GHz. It’s got a plentiful 16GB of VRAM with a 256-bit bus providing a maximum theoretical bandwidth of 640 GB/s. Compared to it’s non-XT sibling, the RX 9070 XT chugs in an extra 60W at a rating of 304W.

AMD’s Adrenalin software for the RX 9070 XT features new AI-powered tools. These tools include image generation, document summarization, and a chatbot that can assist with graphics settings.

A few months after its global launch, DJI’s latest drone, the Mini 3 has finally arrived in Nepal. It’s amore compact and cost-effective version of the original Mini 3 Pro, which was released in May. According to DJI, it is well-suited for first-time users in suburban and urban scenarios. So, let’s go over the specifications, features, availability, and official price of the DJI Mini 3 in Nepal.

DJI Mini 3 Overview:

Body

Like the Mini 3 Pro, the Mini 3 is a small drone measuring 251x362x72 mm (with propellers) and weighing 248 grams. So, it can easily slip into a backpack pocket, ready for flight whenever you need it. Despite its compact size, the drone can withstand wind speeds of up to 10.7m/s, providing stable videos even in gusty conditions. In terms of looks, the 3 Pro and Mini 3 are nearly identical.

Additionally, DJI has used the same 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with an f/1.7 aperture as the Mini 3 Pro. That means its HDR recording caps out at 4K@30fps. You can use the digital zoom of 2x in 4K / 30fps, and 4x in 1080p videos. In terms of photography, it shoots 12MP images by default. Whereas, DJI’s 4-in-1 pixel technology allows you to go all the way up to 48MP.

As always, DJI has packed a slew of features to make recording easier and more enjoyable. The drone comes with an automated Quickshots shooting mode, which is a collection of pre-programmed flight and filming paths that will allow you to shoot Dronie, Circle, Helix, Rocket, and Boomerang shots with just a tap.

There is also an option for “true vertical shooting,” which rotates the camera 90 degrees to create content suitable for social media platforms. On the other hand, DJI’s O2 digital video transmission feature can deliver a 720p / 30fps live feed from up to 10km away.

Aside from that, there are some automated features designed for drone safety. When issues such as a dropped signal or a low battery are detected, the Mini 3 returns to its starting point via Return to Home (RTH) feature. Similarly, the drone hovers more stably and accurately thanks to its precise hovering technique, which combines GNSS with the downward vision system and the infrared sensing system.

The successor to last year’s Mini 3 Pro is official in Nepal with some new tricks up its sleeve alongside other incremental upgrades. So, without further ado, let’s head into the specs, features, and official price in Nepal of the DJI Mini 4 Pro in this article.

DJI Mini 4 Pro Overview:

48MP Camera Sensor

The Mini 4 Pro drone sports a 48MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture and 24mm equivalent focal length. It is capable of shooting slow motion at 4K @100 fps or at 1080p @200fps and normal footage at 4K @60fps. Likewise, the Mini 4 Pro can shoot HDR video at up to 4K @60fps. Furthermore, the stills at captured at full 48MP resolution. Other features include 180°, Wide Angle, Vertical, and Sphere panoramas, focus tracking, and hyperlapse for videos.

Moving on, the drone carries the same Obstacle Avoidance feature as the Mini 3 Pro. It is now even better with Omni-Directional sensors (four fisheye vision sensors, binocular vision sensors, 3D ToF sensor) which provide 360 degrees of obstacle avoidance in the lateral field, upward and downward facing vision systems making it easier to control the drone mid-air.

AMD announced the Radeon RX 6600 in October last year, which it billed as a budget 1080p gaming graphics card. It’s a toned-down version of the RX 6600XT that came out earlier in July. Here, we will look at the specs, features, price, and availability of AMD Radeon RX 6600 in Nepal.

AMD Radeon RX 6600 Overview:

To start with, the RX 6600 is based on AMD’s latest RDNA 2 microarchitecture. It features 28 compute units and 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The game frequency here is listed at 2044MHz, whereas it can reach up to 2491MHz under bursty workloads.

RX 6600 has 32MB of Infinity Cache integrated onto the GPU die for reduced latency and power consumption. As for the latter, it consumes only 132W of power compared to 160W of RX 6600XT. Thus, AMD’s minimum PSU recommendation for this graphics card is just 450W.

This card also supports hardware-backed Ray Tracing, thanks to the 24 Ray Accelerators. There’s also FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) support here, for upscaling content to boost frame rates. According to the company, it can deliver around 91fps in Far Cry 6 by using the two aforementioned technologies—under 1440p resolution at the highest settings.

RX 6600 even supports AMD’s Smart Access Memory (SAM) technology. For this, you’ll need a compatible CPU and motherboard. As of now, SAM is available in Ryzen 5000-series, select 3000-series CPU, and AMD 500-series motherboard. The company says it can uplift the performance by as much as 16%.

DJI is undoubtedly the pioneer when it comes to making those small flying machines— “Drones”. We have a new compact and affordable drone from the company in Nepal which is none other than the DJI Neo with 4K 30fps recording and a 1/2-inch sensor. And we have a Motion Fly More combo for this guy. In this article, we’ll walk through the specs, features, and official price of DJI Neo in Nepal.

Design and Build

The DJI Neo is a super light drone weighing just 135 grams. This compact drone fits in your palm for convenient takeoff and you don’t have to worry about the rotor blades doing any harm as it comes with a propeller guard for those rotating blades.

Despite being a lightweight flying machine, the DJI Neo can capture 4K res videos at 30fps. The camera sensor here is a 1/2-inch CMOS Sensor with f/2.9 aperture, 117.6° FoV, and a single-axis gimbal. It’s a toned-down version of the DJI Mic 2 but has better battery life. Compact Size

As the name implies, the DJI Mic Mini is a min-sized mic, weighing just 10 grams, taking the comfortability to the next level.
