If you’re looking to purchase a smartphone gimbal in Nepal and are confused about which one to buy, then you have come to the right place. Here, we have listed all the smartphone gimbals available in Nepal, along with their specs and official price.
Smartphone Gimbal: In General
For starters, gimbals are basically handheld device that removes unwanted jerkiness in videos. This is accomplished with the use of sensors and motors in conjunction with a refined software algorithm. While smartphones with OIS and EIS stabilization can offer reasonably stable videos, they still cannot compete with the efficiency and control of a mobile gimbal.
When purchasing a gimbal, you should consider how well the gimbal stabilizes and how easy the mounting and unmounting process is on your smartphone. You may also want physical controls on the gimbal itself, so you can do basic operations without having to touch your phone. So, with that out of the way, let’s look at all of the smartphone gimbals available in Nepal.

Following the release of the Y53s a few months back, Vivo has introduced another Y-series smartphone in Nepal, called the Vivo Y21. In this article, we’ll go through the specs, features, availability, and official price of Vivo Y21 in Nepal.
Vivo Y21 Overview:
Design and Display
To begin with, the Vivo Y21 features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen. This is a standard 60Hz panel with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch on the front. The back of the phone has a glossy finish and a rectangular camera cutout. Furthermore, it measures 8mm thick and weighs 182 grams. Vivo Y21 is available in two color options: Metallic Blue and Diamond Glow.
Moving on, the phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The latter is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. It has Vivo’s second-gen Extended RAM feature that lets you allocate 1GB of internal storage as RAM. In terms of software, it comes pre-installed with Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1.
Camera
Now, at the back, Vivo Y21 boasts a dual-camera setup led by a 13MP primary lens. This is followed by a 2MP macro camera. Over on the front, there’s an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. Both front and rear camera setup here can record up to 1080p/30fps videos.
Rest of the specs
Aside from that, the device is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The connectivity option includes dual-nano SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, GPS, OTG, and FM Radio. For biometrics, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds were first launched in 2019, and they quickly became a key competitor in the true wireless earbuds market. From their inception, the Galaxy Buds featured a distinctive design with a solid, rounded shape that remained consistent across the various models released. However, the latest model of buds introduces a stem design. This new design is a departure from the traditional form factor that many users have grown accustomed to, indicating Samsung’s willingness to innovate and adapt to market trends. Let’s dive deeper into what we know about this exciting new development.
Stem-style design of Samsung Galaxy Buds3
At the Unpacked event happening on July 10, Samsung Galaxy Buds3 will be the spotlight this time. A recent Galaxy Buds3 retail box leak confirmed this new stem design. This marks a significant shift from this longstanding design pattern.
While some may criticize Samsung for supposedly mimicking Apple’s design, it’s important to note that many brands have adopted stem-style earbuds in recent years. Switching to this design can be beneficial, particularly for improving microphone performance by positioning the mics closer to the user’s mouth. The upcoming Galaxy Buds3 is expected to feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a valuable addition for many users. Although Apple popularized the stem design, Samsung’s new earbuds will have a distinct angular stem that sets them apart. This angular design not only offers a unique aesthetic but also improves functionality, potentially providing a better fit and sound quality compared to other stem-style earbuds.
Aside from the Galaxy Buds+ launched in 2020, which lacks ANC, Samsung earbuds always have mediocre microphone performance. With the introduction of the new stem design on the Galaxy Buds3, we hope that this change will lead to significant improvements. However, the increased size could impact the battery life and make the earbud look bulkier. Nonetheless, the trade-off might be worth it if it results in better call quality and user experience.

ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, is a powerful language model designed to understand and generate human-like text. OpenAI has expanded its accessibility by introducing the ChatGPT Mac App targeting MacBook users. Although users can already access ChatGPT on Mac through the website, the Mac app offers better integration and security. However, a huge security flaw in the Mac app was found in this application recently. This allowed 3rd party applications to access your conversations with the bot causing a privacy issue. Let’s talk more about it here:
ChatGPT Mac App’s security flaw
Yes, you heard it right! According to a report by The Verge, (an American technology news website), researchers discovered that OpenAI’s ChatGPT macOS app was storing user chats in plain text without any encryption on the system. This is a huge security risk that allows for unintended access to sensitive information.
More about the flaw
OpenAI’s recently launched ChatGPT macOS app had a safety flaw that stored user conversations without any form of added security, making them easily accessible to malicious groups or apps. Pedro José Pereira Vieito demonstrated the security issue on Threads by creating an app that could easily access your conversations with ChatGPT without any kind of special privileges.

Later the issue was solved when The Verge reported this to OpenAI. The company acknowledged the matter and announced that they have released a new version of the app that encrypts users’ conversations. In a statement to The Verge, an OpenAI spokesperson said “We are aware of this issue and have shipped a new version of the application that encrypts these conversations.” She confirmed the fix, emphasizing their commitment to security. After this update, Vieira’s app could no longer access the conversations or record them.
The release of the ChatGPT app on MacOS seemed somewhat unwanted given that Mac users could already access ChatGPT via Safari. Also, the initial lack of encryption in the macOS app highlighted a serious lapse in security protocol, especially for an app that handles user’s sensitive data. But comparatively, the application is a lot easier and more reliable to use than the website’s ChatGPT.
However, the quick response by OpenAI to this security flaw showed their commitment to user privacy and data protection. OpenAI has taken a crucial step in solving the issue and preventing future vulnerabilities by quickly releasing an update that encrypts conversations.
