HTC

HTC, short for High Tech Computer Corporation, is a Taiwanese consumer electronics company established in 1997, originally known for its role in developing some of the first Android smartphones. The brand gained early success in the smartphone market with pioneering devices such as the HTC Dream, the first Android phone, and later models like the HTC One series, which featured premium designs and innovative features. In recent years, the brand has shifted focus toward virtual reality, developing the HTC Vive in partnership with Valve, a VR headset known for its quality and immersive experience. Although no longer a major player in the smartphone market, HTC remains active in VR and other emerging technologies.
