Major Android smartphone makers have revealed their new UI based on Android 13 as well as the timeline for its release. Latest to join this league is Honor, as the company officially announced MagicOS 7.0 for its smartphones. What’s new?

Interface

The new version of MagicOS brings a design overhaul to the interface. The UI now uses flat icons, fluid animations, and the new Honor Sans font throughout. The home screen has been redesigned to accommodate larger, easily accessible folders. There are also new widget options for a more personalized experience.

MagicRing – Ring of Trust

MagicRing is a new feature that allows system-wide service sharing between MagicOS devices and other Honor laptops and tablets. It can perform seamless file transfers, smart clipboards, call and notification management, and more. You will also be able to connect multiple devices at once.

Magic Live Smart Engine

Furthermore, the new Android skin will provide smart recommendations across various activities to help you complete daily chores more efficiently.

Similarly, a feature called Magic Text recognizes text on a picture and converts it to a file,  boosting productivity. With this, users will be able to easily scan text from a photo and save it as a PDF file.

System management

For a fluid user experience, Honor TurboX promises faster app launches and optimized system-level power consumption. MagicGuard, on the other hand, will handle system privacy, and malware protections.
