Infinix launches Zero Book Ultra with the latest AI-powered Intel processors

Infinix launched the GT Book a little while ago as a part of its extensive ecosystem i.e. GT Verse. While it was a bulkier gaming laptop, now the company has launched another laptop with a much sleeker profile and newer processors. This article will discuss the Infinix Zero Book Ultra in further detail including its expected price in Nepal.

Infinix Zero Book Ultra Overview

Design and Display

As I mentioned earlier, the Infinix Zero Book Ultra comes in a sleek profile with a thickness of just 16.90 mm. The entire body is made out of metal and comes with an OVERBOOST Switch on the side. This switch allows you to toggle between ECO, Balance, and Overboost Mode, which changes the laptop’s power consumption depending on the chosen mode. Meanwhile, it has linear patterns on the lid, which as per the company, is inspired by meteorites.

On the front, you are looking at a 15.6-inch display surrounded by a decent amount of bezels. It is an FHD screen that spreads across 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Likewise, it offers 400 nits of peak brightness and 100% sRGB colour gamut. Infinix shies away from mentioning the type of panel on the Zero Book Ultra. However, looking at the highlighted screen capabilities leads me to believe that it will likely be an IPS LCD panel.

Performance

The highlighting feature of this laptop is surely its performance. You are getting all three series options of the latest Intel Core Ultra processor on this thing. In other words, Infinix Zero Book Ultra will be available with any Intel Core Ultra 5, 7, or 9 silicon. Regardless of the exact choice, the laptop will have a processor with a dedicated NPU allowing for easier access to AI capabilities. The laptop’s in-built assistant — Copilot as well as third-party apps like Zoom, Audacity, and Adobe Suite can tap into the laptop’s on-device AI accelerator to better serve its users’ needs.

Furthermore, Intel’s latest integrated Arc graphics smoothens the overall performance of the laptop with ray tracing and better processing prowess. Additional performance hardware on the Infinix Zero Book Ultra includes LPDDR5x RAM of up to 32GB, and PCIe Gen 4 SSD of up to 1TB. Herein, you get an extra SSD slot for storage expansion, if need be. In terms of software, this laptop boots on Windows 11.

While Infinix does not specify the battery capacity of the Zero Book Ultra on its overview page, the Flipkart listing reveals it is packing a 3-cell 100W unit. This allows the laptop to offer up to 13 hours of usage time. The port option on this thing includes an SD card reader, an HDMI 1.4, and an audio jack. Similarly, it also has two USB 3.0 Type-A and two USB Type-C ports. Other than that, it comes with WiFi 6/6E, and Bluetooth v5.3 for wireless connectivity.

OnePlus Pad Go launched in Nepal with Helio G99 SoC and a 7:5 screen

Following the success of the OnePlus Pad‘s, the Chinese company unveiled the OnePlus Pad Go in India back in October. Serving as a cheaper alternative, this tab is powered by a less powerful Helio G99 SoC and retains the 7:5 aspect ratio screen. And it has also gone official in Nepal. Without further ado, let’s head into the specs, features, and the official price of the OnePlus Pad Go in Nepal.

Design and Display

Starting with the design the OnePlus Pad Go bears quite an identicality to the OnePlus Pad. The rear side houses a similar circular camera module while the visible difference lies in the dual-tone colors. Currently, OnePlus ships this guy in a single color option: Twin Mint.

On the display side of things, you are greeted with an 11.35-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 2.4K resolution (2408 x 1720 resolution). As for the optics, the Pad Go sports a single 8MP camera with EIS stabilization for videos. Over on the front, you get the same 8MP selfie camera. Both cameras can do 1080p/720p videos at 30fps.

OnePlus launched its original Pad back in May last year. Now the company has added a “Pro” model of the tablet to its portfolio. In this article, we will discuss the newly launched OnePlus Pad Pro, its specifications, expected price in Nepal, and so on.

OnePlus Pad Pro Overview

Design and Display

In terms of design, the latest rendition looks quite similar to its base model. The camera cutouts and all remains unchanged. However, the finishing has changed from a reflective to a more standard flat one, and colour options have also been updated. You can choose the OnePlus Pad Pro in Khaki Green and Space Grey colours.

While the design blueprint appears to be unchanged, the tablet has grown in both its size and screen size. The Pro model of the OnePlus Pad comes with a larger 12.1-inch 3K display. While the panel of choice and refresh rate remain the same, other aspects of the screen have received an upgrade. Like, the pixel density and the maximum touch sampling rate have gone up to 303 PPI and 540Hz respectively. Likewise, the typical brightness and colour accuracy of the display have also improved this time around.

Performance

For performance, the OnePlus Pad Pro packs the latest Qualcomm flagship processor i.e. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is a significant upgrade over the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, which we saw on the base variant last year. When comparing the two chips, the Qualcomm silicon has a slightly worse GPU, however, on other aspects, it completely blows the MediaTek offering out of the water. For instance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 shows a 95% better score on AnTuTu 10 than the Dimensity 9000.

Other than that, the tablet is available in four different configurations. Those being: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The memory on this thing is an LPDDR5 while the storage is a UFS 3.1 with no option of external expansion. Lastly, the OnePlus Pad Pro boots on ColorOS 14.1 based on Android 14.

Camera and the rest

The OnePlus Pad Pro comes with two cameras altogether. The rear camera includes a single 13MP shooter with 4K 30fps video recording capability coupled with EIS support. Meanwhile, on the front, you get an 8MP unit that doubles down as a face scanner as well.

Vivo launched the Y58 5G a few days ago in India. Now, they have launched yet another smartphone. This time it’s the Vivo T3 Lite 5G, the brand’s most affordable 5G smartphone yet. In this article, let’s get into the details of the Vivo T3 Lite 5G, its specifications, price in Nepal, and so on.

The T3 Lite 5G comes in a sleek, and flat design. The device features a dual camera setup on a rectangular island. This island has a reflective finish while the rest of the back panel appears to have more of a matte touch. ZTE has introduced the Voyage 3D, its latest Android smartphone. The standout feature of this device is its glasses-free 3D display, which converts 2D content into 3D in real-time. This article discusses the latest ZTE Voyage 3D smartphone, including its expected price in Nepal and specifications.

As all the laptop series are getting their 2024 updates, the next in line from Asus is the ROG Zephyrus series. This time around the G14 and G16 models are getting the latest processors with a dedicated NPU. In this article, we will discuss the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2024) in further detail including its official price in Nepal.

Design and Display

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2024) is a powerful device that comes in a portable form factor at a maximum of 16.30 mm and 1.50 kg. It comes in two colourways — Eclipse Grey, and Platinum White and features an aluminium alloy body. The lid of the ROG Zephyrus G14 features a diagonal strip with their signature AniMe Matrix array capable of 15 preprogrammed animations.
