Facebook is the largest social media in the world with over three billion monthly active users. You too likely have a Facebook account — in fact — you might have multiple accounts that you don’t really use. And because of that, or for any other reason, you are looking to deactivate your Facebook account? Here is how you do so!
How to deactivate a Facebook account?
What is deactivating?
Firstly, let’s understand, what is deactivating an account. Well, it’s pretty much self-explanatory. It’s making your account inactive or dormant. Why would you do it? Normally, it is to take a break from the platform. Say, you want a hiatus from Facebook, but you know you’ll use your account in the future. You simply deactivate your account.
But, people do deactivate their Facebook accounts for a variety of reasons. Be it to pretend that they are studying for their exams or going through a break-up. You know the drill, it’s a national meme at this point. Anyhoo, there are some benefits to deactivating your account instead of deleting it.
Advantages of deactivating Facebook
You can easily reaccess your account when you change your mind
You can still use Messenger normally even though your Facebook is deactivated
So how to?
Facebook generates its revenue through you, so it obviously does not want you off its platform. Which is why, they often complicate the process to demotivate you from doing so. They even switch up the process every now and then to throw you off. But, here is how to deactivate a Facebook account:
How to deactivate a Facebook account

Click on Settings
Tap on the Accounts Centre

Choose the account you want to reactive
Select Deactivate account then Continue
Enter your Password
Select a reason for your decision
Choose whento reactivate your account then Continue
Select Deactivate my account
Done!
Quite a long and unnecessarily complicated process, I know. Again, as I mentioned earlier, Facebook wants you to stay on its platform, so that it can sell ads, and generate revenue. Regardless of how complicated it is to deactivate a Facebook account, reactivating is one simple step.

Realme has just launched the successor to last year’s 10 Pro in Nepal. The new Realme 11 Pro is the middle ground in the newly announced number series, which also consists of the vanilla 11 and more premium Pro Plus model. So, let’s get into the specs, features, official price, and availability of the Realme 11 Pro in Nepal.
Realme 11 Pro Overview:
Design and Display
There are a lot of things going on for the Realme 11 Pro in the design side of things— especially when compared to last year’s 10 Pro. The new phone has a big circular camera module on the back. Also, the rear panel is designed in collaboration with former Gucci print designer Matteo Menotto. Users get to choose between three color options, of which two feature a vegan leather finish with a woven texture and hand stitching. The Starry Night colorway, on the other hand, has a matte black finish.
Over on the front, you get the same 6.7-inch curved OLED display as the Pro+ model. It is a 10-bit display with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. The screen refreshes at 360Hz and boasts a 360Hz touch sampling rate which can shoot up to 1260Hz for brief sessions during gaming.
Performance and Memory
This time around, Realme has opted for a MediaTek processor to power the 11 Pro. The newly announced Dimensity 7050 replaces the Snapdragon 695 powering the 10 Pro. Since the very chip also powers the 11 Pro+, there is no power disparity in the 11 Pro series. Realme offers the phone in three memory configurations—8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB.
Realme 11 Pro flaunts a dual camera setup led by a 100MP primary sensor. The company has not specified the exact sensor in use, but it has a 26mm lens with an f/1.75 sensor. It also has Optical Image Stabilization. Accompanying it is a 2MP macro camera. Unfortunately, there is no ultrawide camera. For selfies, the punch-hole cutout on the front encloses a 16MP camera.
Rest of the Specs
Fueling the Realme 11 Pro is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The phone ships with Android 13-based Realme UI 4 out of the box. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. For biometrics, you get an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
The price of Realme 11 Pro 5G is Rs. 47,999 for the sole 8/256GB memory configuration. You can buy the phone from Hukut and other authorized stores across Nepal.

Soundcore — an audio brand from Anker launched a bunch of new earbuds in Nepal. One of their latest launches is Soundcore Life P3 which comes with multi-mode noise cancellation, and various other features. Let’s discuss the Soundcore Life P3 further in this article including its price in Nepal.
Soundcore Life P3 Overview
Design and Audio
The Soundcore Life P3 is a pretty standard-looking earbuds. They come in a stemmed design with an in-ear fit. Meanwhile, the charging case is pebbled-shaped and the buds rest horizontally in it. These earbuds are available in seven different shades in the international market. However, you only get a single — and safe — Black colour option here in Nepal. The buds come with an IPX5 rating as well, offering a decent amount of water resistance.
An 11mm driver on each side delivers the audio on the Soundcore Life P3. The company mentions that these buds are equipped with their BassUp technology, hinting at bass-heavy audio. Additionally, they also come with a total of six microphones to offer a clear calling experience. You get Indoor, Outdoor, and Transport modes of noise cancellation on these earbuds. The former filters out mid-frequencies like voices when you’re in a closed space. Likewise, the outdoor mode gets rid of the ambient noise outside, while the latter shuts away low-frequencies like engine sounds that will come in handy when you’re on public transport.
These earbuds pack a 63 mAh battery on each side, along with an 800 mAh unit in the case. With this, the Soundcore Life P3 can last up to 7 hours on their own and go for an additional 28 hours with the case. Likewise, if you turn on the ANC, the buds’ independent playtime drops by an hour. In the meantime, the total playtime with the case and ANC turned on is 30 hours. When out of battery, you can charge them up either via USB Type-C or with a wireless charger. Moreover, 10 minutes of quick charge can offer you up to 4 hours of usage.
You can access a can of features by getting the Soundcore app available on Android as well as iOS. Firstly, you can customise the functions you can perform through touch controls on the Soundcore Life P3. It also has more than 20 EQ settings to enhance the audio experience as per the genre. Soundcore by Anker V30i Overview
Design and Audio
The Soundcore V30i is designed for ultimate comfort to keep you connected. Talking about the form factor, it has an open-ear design combined with soft and flexible ear hooks that wrap around the back of the ear. This lets you stay aware of your surroundings —perfect for outdoor activities, public transit, or driving. Moreover, it also features an IPX5 water resistance rating for protection against water and sweat splashes.
Soundcore V30i has a 14.2mm bio-material diaphragm that delivers deep, “Robust Bass” and well-balanced audio. Furthermore, these earbuds also enhance your listening experience with features like volume boost, reading mode, and custom EQ settings.
One of the standout features of the Soundcore V30i is its impressive battery performance. These earbuds provide up to 12 hours of playtime on a single charge. Also, with the included charging case, you can extend your listening time to an incredible 36 hours. And what’s more? if you are in a rush, a quick 10-minute charge offers an additional 3 hours of playback, so there is no worrying about running out of battery in the middle of something.
Soundcore V30i Specifications:

Soundcore is an Anker subbrand that deals with quality audio products like TWS, headphones, speakers, and such. And we have a wave of Soundcore TWS coming in like the Life Note 3i, V30i, P3, and Liberty 4NC. This article will focus on the Anker Soundcore Life Note 3i, its specs, features, and its official price in Nepal.
Anker Souncore Life Note 3i Overview:
Design and Build
Beginning with the design, the Note 3i boasts a long stem design with a plastic build all around. For navigation, you get a tactile button on both the right and left buds. Meanwhile, the charging case is also made up of plastic and has a single charging indicator in the middle. In terms of ingress protection, there is an IPX5 rating ensuring protection against water splashes, sweat, and light rain.
Audio and Drivers
Blasting the audio here are 10mm drivers, with which Anker claims a powerful bass and crisp treble. In my usage period, I found the bass to be on the medium side but turning on the BassUP option on the app can satisfy those bassheads. Plus, you can also play with 22 EQ profile modes to suit your listening needs.
Besides that, the app also lets you customize the touch controls for volume control, next track, previous track, or play/pause. Sadly, the Souncore Note 30i doesn’t have any gaming mode.
Hybrid ANC
The Note 3i also gets Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation support, which works just fine in my testing period. It’s not that super strong while you are outdoors but it can do its work indoors. Meanwhile, the transparency mode tends to work with a bit of noise suppression, which is common across the Soundcore TWS.
Battery and Charging
In terms of battery life, Anker claims a solid battery life of up to 9 hours from a single charge which can get up to 36 hours combined with the charging case. And when the fuel runs out, you can quickly charge the thing which will provide you with 2 hours of usage time. To note, the charging case charges via a USB-C port.

GoPro Hero 11 Black Overview:

While it brings the same TimeWarp 3.0 technology for stabilized time-lapses, GoPro has further improved video stabilization with HyperSmooth 5.0.
GoPro Hero 11 Black Creator Edition
Additionally, users can opt for the Creator Edition as well. The GoPro Hero 11 Black Creator Edition includes a Volta Hand Grip, Light Mod, Media Mod, and Enduro Battery.
Moving on, the GoPro Hero 11 Black also supports 10-bit and 8-bit recording. The aforementioned “Enduro battery” has a capacity of 1,720mAh, which GoPro claims improves the recording time by up to 38% on the Hero 11 Black. Obviously, these action cameras are also waterproof. Up to 33 feet, to be precise. And they also arrive with a sturdy build quality that can handle different environmental conditions.
The Hero 11 Black is also available with an accessories bundle. The bundle provides an additional battery, a head strap, a Handler, a quick clip, and a 32GB microSD card.

Honor recently launched two new foldable — Magic V3 and Magic Vs3, with varying hardware. In a similar fashion, the company launched two flavours of tablets as well — that too on the same day! In this article, we will blitz through both the Honor MagicPad 2 and Pad 9 Pro while also discussing their potential price in Nepal. So, here is what these tablets bring to the table.
Honor MagicPad 2 Overview
Design and Display
The Honor MagicPad 2 is the more premium option of the two and it is pretty evident from their designs too. This tablet is thinner and lighter and also has a more pronounced finish. The circular camera dial with an ovular inner cutout appears kind of weird, but different nonetheless. The Moon White colour option even has marble-like patterns running across it.
The display on the Honor MagicPad 2 is slightly larger too, at 12.3-inches. It is an OLED panel capable of four levels of refresh rate, starting at 60Hz and going all the way to 144Hz. Additionally, you are looking at a 3K display with 1,600 nits of peak brightness and 4,320Hz PWM dimming in here.
Performance and the rest
The performance of the Honor MagicPad 2 is led by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor that led the world by storm. This chip can pump out flagship numbers without actually being one. It comes with an architecture similar to Qualcomm’s top offering for 2024 and is the best semi-flagship silicon in the world. Hence, it will surely be appreciated by those looking for absolute power from their tablets.
In terms of configurations, it comes in four: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The optics on this thing include a 13-megapixel shooter and a 9MP one on the front. Similarly, it has a 10,050 mAh cell for power with 66W charging support. Despite being the more premium option, it skips a cellular variant as well. Regardless, you get dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.3 support on the Honor MagicPad 2.
Moving on to the Honor Pad 9 Pro, we get a pretty basic design with it. Though made out of metal, it has a washed-out tone to it. As a result, it doesn’t look all that compelling aesthetically unlike its higher-end compatriots. The plain ovular camera island doesn’t help its case either.
On the front, you are looking at a 12.1-inch display with seven levels of refresh rate from 24Hz to 144Hz. Though it boasts a wider level of screen fluidity, it is an IPS LCD panel. When looking at the Honor Pad 9 Pro as an independent product, the panel choice isn’t bad by any means. However, when comparing it to the Honor MagicPad 2, its screen will lack the rich colour contrast OLED screens offer.
Performance and the rest
The chipset of choice makes the gaping difference between the Honor Pad 9 Pro and the Honor MagicPad 2 very clear. It packs the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 as its primary driver. Once again, not a bad choice individually, but falls when greatly in comparison to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Though a semi-flagship offering too, it is over two years old at this point. However, it still delivers adequate power to handle demanding tasks just fine.
In the meantime, you get two memory and a single storage option on this thing. It comes with either 8 or 12 gigs of RAM coupled with 256GB storage. The primary shooter on the Honor Pad 9 Pro is a 13MP unit as well, but, the selfie camera has been cut down to 5MP. Its tank is filled with a 10,050 mAh battery and the charging speed is limited to just 35W. It obviously does not have a cellular option and wireless connectivity is delivered via WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2.
Both these tablets were launched alongside the Honor’s latest foldable offerings on 12 July 2024. The higher-end option starts at CNY 2,999 while the lesser one goes for a starting price of CNY 2,299. If these tablets go international and arrive here, we expect the starting price of the Honor MagicPad 2 and Pad 9 Pro in Nepal to be NPR 66,149 and NPR 50,999 respectively.

Initial Hurdles of CMF Phone 1 in Nepal

While the phone is still selling at the same price, Nothing is offering a complimentary pair of CMF Buds worth NPR 8,000 that effectively brings down the price to a more digestible 29,000.
