Vivo launches T2 Pro 5G with curved screen and Dimensity 7200!

Vivo has just launched the successor to the T1 Pro 5G in India, which was already an excellent offering in the midrange segment. In this article, we will discuss the Vivo T2 Pro 5G, its price in Nepal, specifications, and more. So, let’s get into it!

Design and Display

The Vivo T2 Pro is a premium-looking phone with a rounded rectangular shape and curved finish. The phone measures 164.10 x 74.80 x 7.36 mm and weighs around 175 grams. It has an anti-glare finish on the back with an IP52 dust and water resistance. It features a slight camera bump with two camera cutouts and a ring light-like flashlight. The camera bump also features *spoiler alert* “Aura Light” and “OIS Portrait” written onto it. The phone features the company logo aligned under the cameras but on the lower half of the phone. It comes in two “New Moon Black” and “Dune Gold” colours.

On the front, the Vivo T2 Pro features a curved AMOLED display with a centre-aligned hole-punch camera cutout and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The screen measures 6.78 inches and boasts a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and a pixel density of 388 PPI. It is a capacitive multi-touch with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness capacity of 1300 nits. Furthermore, the screen is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colours with a P3 colour gamut, 105% NTSC colour saturation, and an 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Performance

Under the hood, we have a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G with 8 CPU cores built on a 4nm process. Coupled with the SoC is 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM (which can be extended to up to 16GB via Virtual RAM) and either 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Vivo proudly boasts an impressive AnTuTu score of 728,911+ in its marketing materials.

Additionally, the phone also features a 3,000 mm2 vapor chamber liquid cooling system. The company promises an additional 1.2°C temperature drop compared to an ordinary vapour chamber with the same area. The T2 Pro 5G also provides a 4D Game Vibration feature to “deliver a heightened sense of realism”. Finally, the phone features FunTouch OS 13, based on Android 13.

Camera

In terms of lenses, the Vivo T20 Pro 5G features three of them. A dual camera setup on the rear and a single front-facing camera. The rear cameras include a 64 MP sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The former of which boasts a f/1.79 maximum aperture with Hybrid Image Stabilisation (OIS + EIS) capabilities. The secondary camera is mainly there to help with portraits and has a maximum aperture of f/2.4. The rear cameras also come paired with ‘Aura Light’ which apparently is “9x” more effective than regular flash.

On the front, we are getting a 16-megapixel sensor with a maximum aperture of f/2.45. Like always, Vivo has made sure to provide a number of fun and useful camera modes to enjoy and fiddle with.

Battery and the rest

Powering the thing is a 4,600 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which isn’t impressive per se. But, the Vivo T20 Pro can go from 0-50% in just 22 minutes with its superfast 66W charging. Furthermore, Vivo also promises an extended battery lifespan of 1,600 charging cycles.

Following the release of Tecno’s foldable phone, the Phantom V Fold, the company is now here with its first flip handset: the Tecno Phantom V Flip, a premium mid-range flip phone.     Following the launch of the Pro series, Realme has now launched the vanilla 11 5G and 11x 5G in Nepal. The former is the same phone that went official in India a while back and differs from the Chinese variant in many aspects. In this article, let’s dive right into the design, specs, availability, and official price in Nepal of the Realme 11 5G.

    Design and Display

    Realme 11 5G looks quite different from its Chinese counterpart. It shares a visual aesthetic with the Realme 11 4G instead, which recently arrived in Vietnam. As such, there’s no vegan leather finish on the back, and its color options are limited to “Midnight Black” and “Sunrise Gold.”

    Xiaomi just announced the Redmi Note 13 alongside the Note 13 Pro series in China. In this article, let’s take a dive into the design, features, specs, and expected price in Nepal of the Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone.

    Design and Display

    Compared to its predecessor, Redmi Note 13 sports a boxier, more modern-looking design. It is also sleeker at 7.6mm compared to the 8mm thick Redmi Note 12 5G.
