A couple of months ago, Apple took the rare step of unveiling its latest iPads without a formal launch event. The company announced its latest iPad Pro alongside the completely redesigned iPad 10th Gen in what it called the ‘Take Note’ event. The new iPad Pro is a refresh of last year’s model, with significant performance improvements thanks to the M2 chip. So, let’s take a look at the specifications, features, availability, and the latest official price of the Apple iPad Pro M2 (2022) in Nepal.
Apple iPad Pro M2 (2022) Overview:
M2 chip
The switch to the M2 SoC is the most noticeable change in this year’s iPad Pro. This isn’t surprising at all, and Apple is capitalizing on the M2’s exceptional performance. The iPad Pro can now shoot ProRes video for the first time, thanks to this silicon’s media engine and image single processor. It can also transcode ProRes footage three times faster.
Apple has also announced that the popular video-editing software DaVinci Resolve will be available for iPads. It is not yet available on the App Store, and Apple has not provided an exact availability date either. However, it will be interesting to see if the new iPad Pro receives the full version of Davinci Resolve or a toned-down version.
In any case, the M2 can handle the most demanding tasks such as gaming, 3D modeling, and more without breaking a sweat. In terms of performance gains, the M2’s 8-core CPU is up to 15% faster than the M1. Furthermore, the 10-core GPU boosts performance by up to 35%. The iPad Pro M2 comes with up to 2TB of storage.
Meanwhile, check out all the prices and specs of iPads from Apple here
With the improved processor comes the new iPad OS 16, which includes new productivity features including Stage Manager. It automatically organizes apps and windows, making switching between tasks quick and easy. The feature is also rolling out for MacBooks in the new version of macOS called ‘Ventura’.
iPad OS 16 also enables the support for hover with the 2nd gen Apple Pencil. The tablet can now detect the Pencil up to 12mm above the display, allowing users to see a preview of their stroke before they make use of it. Apple also says it will help designers to sketch and illustrate with even better precision. This feature will be available in first-party as well as third-party applications.
Connectivity
The new iPad Pro feature improved wireless connectivity in the form of Wi-Fi 6E, which provides downloads up to 2.4Gbps, 2x faster than previous models. There’s also updated Bluetooth 5.3 support and 5G connectivity support.
Display
Besides a few above-mentioned updates, the iPad Pro M2 is more or less the same as the last year. It keeps two different screen sizes, that is 11” and 12.9”, both of which support a ProMotion refresh rate of 120Hz.
But the 11” model is still stuck with a LED-backlit Liquid Retina Display compared to the mini-LED powered Liquid Retina XDR screen on the 12.9” model. Thus, the latter has a superior contrast ratio of 1000,000:1 and also has up to 1600 nits of peak brightness that kick in during HDR content. On the other hand, the 11” iPad Pro has a peak brightness of just 600 nits.
Nonetheless, both of them are fully-laminated screens with anti-reflective coating and support for the TrueTone feature.
Cameras
Although the Apple iPad Pro with M2 can now shoot ProRes videos, Apple hasn’t upgraded the camera hardware this year. On the back, it has the same 12MP main camera sensor and a 10MP ultra-wide sensor. In addition, there is a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens with a center stage feature on the front.
Rest of the specs
Furthermore, it has a quad-speaker setup with five studio-quality mics for calls and video recording. The 11-inch model is powered by a 28.65Whr battery, while the 12-inch is powered by a 40.8Whr battery.
Apple iPad Pro M2 (2022) Specifications:
Display: 11/12.9-inches screen, ProMotion 120Hz, Wide Color (P3), True Tone
11″: LED backlit, 2388 x 1668 px, 264 PPI, 600 nits max brightness
Other Features: USB-C (Thunderbolt, USB 4, USB 3.1 Gen 2), Quad-speakers, 5x microphones
Battery: 28.65 Wh (11″), 40.88 Wh (12.9″)

Apple iPad Pro M2 (2022) Price in Nepal and Availability
The price of the new iPad Pro M2 (2022) in Nepal now starts at Rs. 132,500 for the 11″ model and Rs. 184,500 for the 12″ model, both for the WiFi and 128GB configuration. The cellular models are not yet available in Nepal. You can get the Apple iPad Pro M2 from Hukut and other authorized stores in Nepal.

Back in April, Xiaomi launched a massive 20000 mAh battery with an in-built Type-C cable with 33W. Now the company has released a new power bank with a slight tweak in its old variation with a change in the charging speed. Let’s get into the depth of this.
Xiaomi 20000 mAh Power Bank Overview
Design and Battery
The Chinese tech giant’s power banks look like any other power bank in the market. While the previous variant measures 127.00 mm x 70.50 mm x 30.50 mm in dimensions, the new one is slightly bigger with a dimension of 128mm x 73mm x 32mm.
Meanwhile, the color options are completely different this time with White and Dark Grey in comparison to the previous form’s Light Beige and Dark Blue color. Meanwhile, both variants flaunt the company logo on the front and have a minimal design.
Image: 20,000 mAh power bank with 33W charging
Furthermore, both variants pack two 10000 mAh lithium-ion cells with an effective rated capacity of 12,000 mAh (5V/3A) and an energy rating of 7Wh. However, there is a difference in the output generation (which is the major difference between these two products) with one offering 33W and the other with 22.5W output.
Other than that, both of them have a USB Type-C cord built into the main body of the power bank itself. In addition to that, they come with a USB Type-C and a USB Type-A port. Given that, the Xiaomi 20000 mAh Power Bank with in-built Type-C cable comes with three mediums to charge devices altogether.

Xiaomi 20000 mAh Power Bank Price in Nepal and Availability
They are available to purchase through official mediums of Xiaomi such as Xiaomi Youpin and JD.com. These products are available in China only as of now for a price tag of CNY 159 for 33W and CNY 129 for 22.5W.
Xiaomi offerings are quite popular here and even unorthodox products make their way into our borders. Hence, it is highly likely that it will also be available here. If and when it does arrive here, we expect the Xiaomi 20000 mAh Power Bank with in-built Type-C cable price in Nepal to be NPR 3,599 for 33W and NPR 2,899 for 22.5W.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max arrived in Nepal back in October 2021. Fast forward to 2025 — unlike the regular iPhone 13 — its “Pro Max” sibling is no longer available in the country. But you can opt to get it at the second hand phone market. Still, let’s take a look at the features, specs, and price in Nepal of the iPhone 13 Pro Max before it went out of stock.
iPhone 13 Pro Max Price in Nepal
The price of the iPhone 13 Pro Max in Nepal started at NPR 191,990 for the base 128GB, whereas the 256GB variant went for NPR 208,990. Similarly, the high-end 1TB config of the iPhone 13 Pro Max retailed at NPR 277,990. But as aforementioned, the iPhone 13 Pro Max isn’t available in Nepal right now.

iPhone 13 Pro Max Overview:
Design and Display
The iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with a similar 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display to its predecessor. However, the refresh rate has been upgraded from 60Hz to a ProMotion 120Hz. Hence, the UI and transition feel much smoother on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. It can smartly switch between 10-120Hz based on the content playing on the screen.
The panel has a 2778 x 1284 pixels resolution with 458 PPI and has Ceramic Shield protection as well. It retains the design from the 12 Pro lineup and features stainless steel frames and rounded corners. It also brings IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. Similarly, the color options for iPhone 13 Pro Max include Graphite, Gold, Silver, and Sierra Blue.
On the performance side of things, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is powered by the A15 Bionic chip that features a 6‑core CPU and 5‑core GPU. In addition, with the new 16-core Neural Engine, Apple is claiming up to 15.8 trillion operations per second (TOPS) here, which enables faster machine learning. Likewise, the storage option starts from 128GB and goes as high as up to 1TB. All the storage variants are available in Nepal.
Camera
Over on the cameras, there’s a new triple-lens system with a larger 77mm telephoto lens that provides 3x optical zoom on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. To compare, 2020’s iPhone 12 Pro Max had 2.5x optical zoom. The 12MP main camera features a larger sensor with bigger pixels (1.9 µm), which increases its capacity to retain better details in low-light photos. Likewise, the 12MP ultra-wide lens can now shoot macro shots of objects from as close as 2cm.
On the front, it houses a 12MP TrueDepth camera inside a redesigned notch that’s 20% smaller than the one on its predecessor. Besides this, all the exciting camera features of the iPhone 13 lineup are present here. This includes ProRes video, Cinematic mode, sensor-shift stabilization, Photographic Styles, Dolby Vision HDR, 4K video at up to 60fps, and more.
Rest of the specs
Moving on, the iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with a 4352mAh that charges via the lighting port using a 20W adapter. On the other hand, the wireless connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, e-SIM (dual), GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou.
Unfortunately, like last year’s iPhone 12 series, Apple doesn’t ship them with a charger. Here in Nepal, the 20W Apple charger costs NPR 4,500. If that’s a bit high, you can get the 20W charger from Anker (NPR 2,500) which will work just fine. Likewise, Apple Nepal also provides 1 year of breakage insurance on the purchase of the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
iPhone 13 Pro Max Specifications:
Dimension: 160.8 x 78.1 x 7.65mm, 240 grams
Display: 6.7‑inch OLED, Super Retina XDR with 120Hz ProMotion
Back Camera: Triple:
– 12MP wide f/1.5 primary camera (sensor-shift OIS)
– 12MP ultra-wide f/1.8 camera, 120° FOV, (dual OIS)
– 3x optical zoom telephoto, 12MP f/2.8 camera (dual OIS)
Front Camera: 12MP f/2.2 camera
Security: TrueDepth camera for FaceID facial recognition
Connectivity: 5G (sub-6GHz and mmWave), Gigabit LTE with 4×4 MIMO and LAA, 802.11ax Wi‑Fi 6 with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS with GLONASS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou
Other features: Water and dust resistance (IP68), Stereo speakers
Battery: 4352mAh, 20W fast charging, 7.5W Qi Wireless Charging, 15W MagSafe Wireless Charger (No adapter included in the box)
iPhone 13 Pro Max Authorised vs Grey Seller in Nepal
You can buy the iPhone 13 Pro Max in Nepal via two channels: Authorised and Grey. Authorized iPhones are those that are legally imported via a national distributor (Gen Nxt). Hence, you get a VAT Bill as well as 1-year breakage insurance if you purchase from retail partners of Gen Nxt such as Hukut Store, Oliz Store, and Evo Store.
Likewise, if you purchase the iPhone 13 Pro Max in Nepal from grey channels, you will not receive a VAT Bill and neither do you get insurance or a warranty of any sort. However, they are often 10 to 15% cheaper than what you get from authorized channels. Usually, the price of the iPhone 13 Pro Max (256GB) from grey channels starts at NPR 185,000, while it is available for NPR 208,990 from the authorized channels.
Vivo is preparing to enter the mixed reality (MR) market with a new headset set to debut in 2025. Ahead of its official launch, the company plans to showcase a prototype in September or October 2024. In this article, we will discuss everything about the Vivo Mixed Reality headset, including its expected price in Nepal.
Vivo MR Headset Rumors
Development and Testing
Vivo has expanded its MR headset development team to 500 members. The company will begin testing “high-fidelity prototype experiences” in various Chinese cities by late 2025.
Against Apple’s Vision Pro?
The headset aims to provide capabilities on par with or better than Apple’s Vision Pro but at a more affordable price. Its release timing will depend on the availability of supporting content ecosystems.
As mentioned above, the upcoming Vivo MR Headset is likely to launch by 2025. Meanwhile, Apple’s Vision Pro, launched in 2023, has experienced lower-than-expected sales and to say the least, has become somewhat of a flop product. But Vivo could stand head high against the market with much-improved features at a significantly low cost.
