Huawei, the Chinese tech giant is unveiling something big on September 10. It’s none other than a tri-folding phone, the very first of its kind which will revolutionize the foldable market. More about the Huawei Tri-folding phone in this piece of news.
Huawei Tri-Folding Phone Rumors:
Huawei’s announcement on Weibo
It’s official. Huawei is launching this thing on September 10, as per its Webo post. Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Division shared, “After five years of persistence and investment, we have turned science fiction into reality.”
Some peeks
To keep some sparks before launch, there have already been encounters with the Tri-folding phone from Huawei on the internet. Richard Yu was seen first holding the phone on an airplane and we have a new image circulating the web. The camera module is of a circular design and has quite a slim profile when folded.
The thickness is expected to be within 5mm when unfolded and around 15mm when folded. When unfolded, the screen is expected to be around 10 inches with a centrally aligned hole-punch camera on the far left.
Kirin 9 Series
Due to the ongoing restriction from the US, Huawei is sticking to its own Kirin lineup of chips for its products. So, the upcoming Tri-folding phone will house a Kirin 9 Series chipset. RAM and ROM options are likely to be up to 16GB and 1TB respectively. Software-wise, it’ll boot on HarmonyOS, a self-developed software for the Huawei ecosystem.
The Huawei Tri-folding phone is launching on September 10, just a day after the iPhone 16 Series launch. Pricing and availability details will be unveiled on that day.
A motherboard is the main component of your PC that holds all other parts together. It determines the number and the type of components that will go into your PC. If you are shopping around for a motherboard for your next build, this is the place to be. Here, we have curated a list of motherboard that you can currently buy in Nepal alongside their respective price.
How to choose a motherboard?
There are multiple factors that you need to consider while deciding on a motherboard. First is the form factor. The most common form factors of a motherboard include – ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ATX. Usually, smaller size means you can connect a limited number of components. On the other hand, they have small real estate and can easily fit in smaller cases or leave space for other components in bigger cases.
Next is the socket. It needs to compatible with the processor that you want to use in your build. While you can refer to the motherboard’s product page to find this info, OEMs might also push a BIOS update to enable support for newer processors. You will also need to check if a motherboard you are considering can meet all of your memory needs. It includes the number of memory slots, type of memory supported, clock frequency, support for dual-channel RAM, etc.
You should also pay special attention to expansion slots, especially if you plan to game. You will need these to connect components like graphics cards and storage. PCIe 4.0 is the general standard but most newer boards support PCIe 5.0, which offers double the bandwidth.
It’s also important to check if the motherboard has additional features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and audio. Having them built-in in a board will reduce the number of expansion cards you will require.

This is the all-new Realme 13+ that I have been testing for the past few days. This phone has just launched for some 20,000 Indian Rupees and Realme says that it is the best performing phone of its class. More specifically, they are hinting that the Realme 13+ has the best gaming performance in this price range. Let’s find out how true that is in this Realme 13+ article. Before, getting any further, lets have a quick rundown of its specifications.
This phone has the Dimensity 7300 Energy by the way! And theoretically, the Dimensity 7200 indeed has faster CPU and GPU benchmarks than the Dimensity 7300. So, how come Realme is claiming such big things?
Well, what Realme has done here is, they have optimized the gaming performance of this phone to give you the best possible fps.
So, while all the other phones around the 20,000 ballpark offer a maximum of 60 fps in games like PUBG, COD and Mobile Legends, Realme is offering 90 fps support, which means you can get an even smoother gameplay experience on the 13+.
And it’s not like the stability while gaming is compromised, no! If you look at the average fps and 99th percentile in Mobile Legends for instance, it’s almost the same, which means you are getting stable frames per second. Even with slightly more GPU intensive games like PUBG and COD, the fps numbers that I am getting are not very far off. So it’s safe to say that you are actually getting good fps numbers in most of the popular titles here.
Now, I say most because, in Genshin impact, you are not going to hit the 60fps number, instead you only get around 25-27 fps on average, and that’s about it – if you try to go higher, the gameplay becomes a bit laggy and stuttery.
Another good news about the Realme 13+ is, it does not throttle the performance during gaming. Yes, the phone gets slightly hot, I recorded a max of 42 degrees while playing games but there is no sudden dip in performance, which may be because Realme has used a big stainless steel vapor chamber cooling solution here!
I noticed that, after my long gaming sessions, the heat is mostly localized on the top, like around the camera module. So, overall, I am happy about the gaming results and thermals that I got from this phone!
UI and OS
BTW, I have already received like two performance related updates on this device, so that’s nice too . Realme has also promised a total of 2 years of OS and 3 years of security updates here although I am still waiting for the phone to receive August’s security patch. I think Realme will only offer Quarterly security patches here!
Thankfully, keeping the gamers in mind, Realme has not gone with a curved screen here, it’s a flat screen, so there are no mistouches while playing games on the Realme 13+. And this is a decent AMOLED screen, it’s a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel and the core quality of this screen is quite nice, the touch response is good and it is sufficiently bright as well.
It’s not the brightest you can get in this price range (animation: Peak 2000 nits), but it can go up to 1200 nits in auto mode, which means the visibility is good enough under direct sunlight, no issues.
This screen is HDR certified as well and it works very well on YouTube. Even while playing a 4k HDR video, I noticed no stutters of any kind, so that’s nice. It still does not support HDR playback on OTT platforms as of now, but It was the same with the Realme GT 6T in the beginning, but later HDR playback on Netflix arrived with an update, so I am hoping it will be the same on this phone as well.
Overall, with the thin bezels, superfast in display fingerprint sensor, and nice screen, you can get a good display experience on the Realme 13+
However, I wish I could say the same about its haptic feedback too. Usually, all Realme devices have good vibration feedback, but this one is an exception. They haven’t used a more expensive X-axis motor, hence the feedback is buzzy here and it does not feel tight or crisp at all.
And while I am complaining , the speakers are nothing extra too, the highs sound slightly distorted and they are only decently loud.
Design
Design
1 of 3
I like the design on this thing btw, especially the color options are very refreshing. The Green one I have with me looks quite nice and the Purple one looks cool too. You get a frosted plastic design as opposed to the leather back we got on the Realme 12+, but I am not complaining. The dual tone finish gives a definite character to this phone.
Realme is also providing IP65 dust and water resistance here and the build quality and everything is quite sturdy too. The only thing I am a little torn about the design are these sharp edges which could be a little uncomfortable when you use the phone or game on it for a longer time. And also, there is only Dragontrail glass protection and not Gorilla Glass.
But the best news for the gamers, is right here (show headphone jack), Realme has not removed a headphone jack on this phone, which is great!
Cameras
Rear Camera:
50 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), PDAF, OIS
2 MP, f/2.4 (monochrome)
Unspecified AI camera
Front Camera: 16 MP, f/2.5 (wide)
Ok Let’s talk about the cameras now! Here on the Realme 13+, the company has omitted an ultra wide lens, so you are basically getting a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary sensor and a useless 2MP mono sensor.
Anyway, the primary camera performance of this phone is really nice. Realme phones always have a punchy output which is the same here as well. Sometimes, the colors look overly boosted, but most of the time, you get striking images with good details, so I won’t complain.
Daytime
1 of 6
Infact, I compared this phone with the more expensive OnePlus Nord CE 4 and in good lighting conditions, surprisingly, the Realme 13+ competed quite well.
Night
1 of 4
It’s only in difficult lighting conditions that the dynamic range takes a little hit on the Realme 13+, otherwise, during daytime or even at night, you can actually get some nice shots from this device!
Daytime
1 of 6
I am not a huge fan of the portraits from this phone though. Yes, Realme has included a 2x mode for portraits, but most of the time there is this red tint on the subject’s face which doesn’t look good. So I hope Realme works on fixing the skin tone colors with an update.
Selfie
1 of 4
Selfies are good though, the skin tone and everything is very nicely portrayed.
The videos are not bad as well, you can shoot at a max resolution of 4k at 30 fps and the stabilization is satisfactory. The videos are a little cropped, but they are good enough for casual use. From the front camera, the max you can shoot is at 1080p and the output is just average.
Battery and Charging
Okay lastly, the battery life on the Realme 13+ is pretty standard. You are not getting the bigger 5500mAh battery as most Oneplus, Realme, Vivo phones. It’s a normal 5000 mAh cell, which gave me a consistent 6.5 hours of screen on time – which is decent enough to last for a whole day.
Charging is also fast here. You get 80 watt charging support and with the 80 watt brick that you get inside the box, this phone takes 30 minutes to get to 57% and around 43 minutes for a complete refill!
Realme 13+ Review: Pros and Cons
Pros:
Smooth Gaming Experience
Efficient Thermal Management
Vibrant Display
Decent Camera Performance
Cons:
Limited HDR Support
Average Haptics
Underwhelming Ultra-wide Camera
Sharp Edges in Design
Realme 13+ Review: Conclusion
Okay, so with everything I have discussed in this video, it’s safe to say that the Realme 13+ is a decent smartphone for its price. It definitely has an edge with the 90 fps gaming support on popular games which could be a very good selling point for this phone among gaming enthusiasts. But even other than gaming, it is also a very well rounded device with good cameras, nice design, vibrant display and battery life.
Yes, there are a little bit of compromises in haptics and speakers here, but overall for some 20,000, I believe the Realme 13+ is a good value device and it’s got my recommendation!
Moondrop is a staple name in the world of audio, and whenever they drop their new offering, it’s surely some NEWS! And we just got some news — with sapphire-coated drivers. This article will discuss the new Moondrop earbuds i.e. Ultrasonic in further detail including its price in Nepal.
Moondrop Ultrasonic Overview
Audio
The main highlight of any earbuds is surely its audio, and when talking of Moondrop, ain’t no way that’s not the case. The Moondrop Ultrasonic comes with some interesting engineering choices to offer top-tier sound quality. Firstly, it uses an FRA lithium-magnesium alloy diaphragm-balanced armature tweeter to handle high-frequency sound waves. As per the company, this material is better than the commonly used pure beryllium due to its low density, better-damping characteristics, and rigidity.
Additionally, the Moondrop Ultrasonic has 13mm full-frequency dynamic drivers with sapphire-coated domes. It apparently helps handle the bass/mid-range and enhances sound reproduction in the relevant frequency bands. Furthermore, these earbuds are equipped with LDAC and LC3 codecs, on top of the standard AAC and SBC. The former is pretty much a golden standard for audio codecs and offers high-definition lossless audio with 24-bit/96kHz processing at bit rates as high as 990kbps. Meanwhile, the LC3 focuses on lower latency, power efficiency, and high-fidelity signal transmission. It is better suited for preserving the quality of calls and human speech.
Features and Battery
While the Moondrop Ultrasonic is loaded to offer you a great listening experience, it is stacked with additional features too. First off, these earbuds offer noise cancellation with transparency mode. They have ditched the hybrid feedforward-feedback method which can hamper the bass output. Instead, they have chosen a single feedforward solution that is difficult to adjust. But they pulled it off thanks to repeated tuning and adjustments, and a new 22nm flagship SoC. This chipset also offers latency as low as 55ms during gaming. They rely on Bluetooth v5.3 to maintain connectivity with your smartphone or other devices.
One can use the Moondrop Ultrasonic in monaural or binaural modes. In other words, they work fine regardless of whether a single bud or both buds are being used at the same time. Users can access further functionalities and customisation through the MOONDROP Link 2.0 app. With all this, these earbuds can last up to 6 hours on their own, and go for another 18 hours with the case. If you want the numbers, the buds have a 37mAh battery on each side, and a 380mAh unit in the case.
Despite of being audio-centric and feature-rich, these earbuds do not forget to look good. They look pretty much the same as the Moondrop Space Travel but with grey and red shades. The Moondrop Ultrasonic come in an in-ear fitting with black silicone tips. Their stems are cuboid which helps them stand apart from the crowd.
These earbuds vertically slip into either side of the charging case, which does not have a lid. It is also transparent, which adds to the overall personality of the Moondrop Ultrasonic. If you are worried about the buds slipping off and you losing it, worry not! You get a protective case bundled in the package. This case comes in a darker shade of grey with red red-tinted lid. It has a push-button on the front that pops open the cover of the case for you to access the earbuds. All in all, everything looks pretty cool! 😎

Moondrop Ultrasonic Price in Nepal and Availability
These earbuds went live a day before the end of August and are available to purchase through GeekWills for USD 74.99. If they arrive here, we expect the Moondrop Ultrasonic price in Nepal to be NPR 12,099.
Samsung just launched a new Galaxy A55 5G variant with a QRNG chip that uses entropy for your data security. What does that mean? Well, let’s discuss more about the Samsung Galaxy Quantum5, the QRNG chip, the Quantum Physic and entropy stuff, and finally what its price in Nepal might be in this article.
Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 Overview
QNRG Chip
The main highlight of the Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 is that it is equipped with the ID Quantique (IDQ)’s SKT S2Q000 chip. This chip is a QRNG (Quantum Random Number Generator) and generates full entropy. In other words, it produces fully unpredictable and truly random numbers. Quantum-based random numbers can be generated in multiple ways and IDQ utilises photon counting solutions for this purpose.
Basically, the global leader in quantum cybersecurity uses photons of light or lasers to generate a number. It then uses that number for encryption and decryption of data like biometrics and passwords.
What does all this mean to you?
Using a quantum-based random number ensures nigh-unbreachable security even in the future. You must have at least heard about quantum computers. It is a type of computer that can process vast amounts of data extremely fast. Given that, one of its major uses is decoding cryptography.
This means the conventional methods of random number generation break down when quantum computers get involved. They can figure out the algorithms used by such RNG without much issue. However, the same cannot be said for quantum-based random numbers. Hence, using a QRNG on Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 pretty much guarantees that no one can hack your valuable data even by using a quantum computer.
Let’s be real, no one will actually try to extract your data with a quantum computer. At least, not anytime soon. Therefore, it is primarily about having peace of mind that your phone is an impenetrable fortress.
Apart from the fancy QRNG chip, the Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 is the same as the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G. It comes with flat aluminium frames and Gorilla Glass protection on the front as well as the back. It has the Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front which is one of the newer iterations of the hardened glass. Meanwhile, the screen here is a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED panel offering FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness.
Inside it has the in-house Exynos 1480 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 packs a 5,000 mAh battery for power and supports 25W charging speed. Camera-wise, it has three on the back comprising of a 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro. Likewise, it has a 32MP shooter on the front for selfie and face scanning. The fingerprint sensor sits underneath the display. All this comes in an IP67-rated dust and water-tight body available in Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy colour options.
Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 Specifications
Design: Flat metal frames with Gorilla glass back with glossy finish, IP67-rated
Connectivity: Dual SIM, 5G, Dual-band WiFi 5, Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.3, USB 2.0 Type-C
Colour Options: Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, Awesome Navy
Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 Price in Nepal and Availability
This phone was brought in collaboration with SK Telecom. As a result, it is exclusive to South Korea. It went live on 28 August 2024 and is selling for KRW 618,200. As I mentioned earlier, it is a Korea-only product and won’t be available elsewhere. But if somehow it drifted its way here, we expect the Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 price in Nepal to be NPR 74,499.
