Design

The latest trimmer from Xiaomi comes in a design that is somewhat reminiscent of the vintage shaver. It may not come as a surprise that the Xiaomi UniBlade Trimmer is an electric trimmer. It is nearly waterproof with an IPX7 water resistance. Additionally, this trimmer comes in a matte finish with a travel lock and a battery level indicator on the front.

Last month, Infinix launched the Zero 30 5G in India and now they’ve unveiled the Infinix Zero 30 4G in Indonesia. This new model is a more budget-friendly alternative but shares some similarities with its 5G sibling. Let’s dive into the specs, availability, and expected price in Nepal of the brand-new Infinix Zero 30 4G.

The Infinix Zero 30 4G mostly resembles its 5G sibling. Except for the slight change in the back camera module, the design looks pretty much the same with a 6.78-inch curved display. The AMOLED display has an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 950 nits.

Infinix Mobile, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has finally launched the budget Infinix Smart 8 in Nepal. This phone shares a lot of similarities to the Pop 8 launched by its sister company — Tecno. In this article, we will further discuss the Infinix Smart 8 along with its price in Nepal.

Display and Design

The Infinix Smart 8 is a budget smartphone that comes with a plastic body. It features a camera island on the back with three camera cutouts. It is available in four colour options altogether: Timber Black, Galaxy White, Crystal Green, and Shiny Gold.

On the front, we are greeted with a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a centrally aligned hole-punch camera cutout. It also comes with Apple’s Dynamic Island knock-off named the “Magic Ring”. The display is capable of a 90Hz refresh rate as well as 500nit peak brightness with Dark Region Enhancement (DRE) technology.

Performance

Itel launches S24 with the latest MediaTek 4G chipset

All the brands of Transsion Holdings including the likes of Tecno, Infinix, and Itel Mobile bring attractive features at a budget-friendly price. Itel does so at the most affordable space. We can see it in their latest release as well — Itel S24! Let’s discuss this phone in greater detail including its cool features in this article.

Itel S24 Overview

Design and Display

The Itel S24 is the successor to the Itel S23 which arrived with a photochromic back panel. This phone carries over this novelty feature — however — only on the Dawn White colour option. This particular variant changes Pink in colour when exposed to UV light. Meanwhile, the Coastline Blue and Starry Black variants come with a glittery finish on the back.

Moving on to the front, you get a 6.6-inch display with sizable bezels surrounding it. Itel does not mention the panel on the S24, which suggests it to be a low-grade LCD — probably TFT. In the meantime, you do get a refresh rate of 90Hz, an HD+ resolution, and a local peak brightness of up to 480 nits.

Performance

The recently released MediaTek Helio G91 drives the performance of the Itel S24. We have covered the chipset in a separate article but for a refresher, it is almost the same as the MediaTek Helio G88. This means it is a 4G-only chip running at a maximum frequency of up to 2.0GHz.

Other than that, the phone comes in three memory and storage configurations. That being, 4GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB , and 8GB + 256GB. The RAM here is an LPDDR4X while the ROM is an eMMC. Additionally, you can double the memory capacity virtually. In the meantime, the company has not specified if you can expand the storage. The Itel S24 boots on the itel OS 13 that offer features like GPT AI Assistant and Dyanimc Bar.

Camera and the rest

One of the major highlighting features of this phone is its camera. The primary shooter here is a 108MP unit with a Samsung HM6 ISOCELL sensor. Itel mentions that this is the first sensor to adopt the Nanopixel Plus technology. This technology merges nine pixels at once, capturing more light and enhancing nighttime photos. The auxiliary lens here is a decor while the front camera is a respectable 8MP shooter.

You get a 5,000 mAh cell in the tank that accepts 18W quick charging. In addition to that, the Itel S24 also supports bypass charging. This is to say, the phone can draw power straight from the charger totalling bypassing the battery. This feature helps in improving battery health in the long run.

UMIDIGI has been offering light-powered devices targeted at consumers with a tight budget. They launched a modest G1 Tab a few months ago in Nepal. Now, the UMIDIGI G5 is official in Nepal. Let’s take a look at the UMIDIGI G5 Tab in greater detail including its official price in Nepal.

Design and Display

The UMIDIGI G5 Tab comes in an aluminium alloy body that as per the company is of aviation grade. It has a small rounded rectangular camera island that is further divided into three compartments. This tablet is available in a sole monotone Space Grey colour option.

On the front, you get a 10.1-inch display surrounded by sizable bezels in black. UMIDIGI has not specified the type of panel on the G5 Tab, which hints that it is a low-grade panel, most probably a TFT LCD. In the meantime, it comes in HD+ resolution spanning 1,280 x 800 pixels. Performance

Under the hood, the vanilla Xiaomi 14 and Pro debut the latest and greatest Snapdragon Gen 3 processor. This new flagship chip features a prime Cortex-X4 core clocking at 3.3GHz, five Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2GHz, and two A520 cores running at 2.3GHz frequency. It is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.

To keep the thermals in check, Xiaomi has infused a gas-liquid separation channel for heat dissipation during intensive activities. On the software front, you get the HyperOS build on top of Android 14, replacing the decade-old MIUI. It is basically a revamp of the old OS with several new lock screen customization options and changes in the core.

Leica Cameras

Getting to the cameras, this vanilla model also enjoys the nitty-gritty of the Xiaomi-Leica partnership. It gets the new 50MP Light Fusion 900 image sensor for better HDR and better image video quality. On top of that, the Summilux aspherical lens is also helping with more enhanced outputs compared to the Summicron ones used on the Xiaomi 13.
