The Note 12 Pro Plus is the most premium offering of the bunch bringing in features like a 200MP camera, 120W charging, and more. The smartphone is launching soon in Nepal as well. Design and Display

As for the design, the Note 12 Pro Plus brings a glass-sandwich build with curved edges measuring in at 8.9mm. It weighs around 210 grams and comes in three color options—Polar White, Midnight Black, and Sky Blue.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 chip. It is among the first phone to have this chip on board. Built on TSMC’s 6nm process, the mobile silicon features two Cortex-A78 cores (@2.6GHz) and six Cortex-A55 cores (@2GHz). 

Redmi has paired the SoC with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, while the storage option is limited to 256 GB. Regardless, Xiaomi has used LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage on the phone. And despite being a 2023 mid-range phone, the phone still boots on MIUI 14 based on Android 12.

Camera

One of the key highlights of the Dimensity 1080 is its Image Signal Processor (ISP), which supports 200MP cameras. And the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ makes full use of this processor. It has a 200MP Samsung HPX sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) as its primary camera. Accompanying this are an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor. Over on the front, there is a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

    Vivo launched the Y20s smartphone in Nepal back in Jan 2021. However, it has seen a price cut of Rs. 2000 in Nepal. In this post, we will be taking a look at the specs, features, official price, and availability of Vivo Y20s in Nepal.

    Galaxy A14 5G was Samsung’s first smartphone launch of 2023, which is available here in Nepal too. The company has now launched the 4G variant of the phone as well. So, let’s get into the full specifications, official price in Nepal, and availability of the new Samsung Galaxy A14 4G.

    Design, Display

    The Galaxy A14 4G does not come up with a new design. That is, it retains the same flat-edge design and has three camera rings protruding from the back panel as its 5G counterpart. Galaxy A14 4G is also available in the same four color options: Black, Green, Dark Red, and Silver.

Based on 12nm, this processor has two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores. So while it can handle your simple day-to-day tasks pretty easily, it’s not powerful enough for gaming and stuff.

While the primary and macro sensors remain unchanged at 50MP and 2MP, respectively, the brand has replaced A14 5G’s 2MP depth sensor with a 5MP ultrawide camera instead. A 13MP lens is housed within the aforementioned notch for selfies.

    Samsung introduced the A14 5G as its first major smartphone of the year — less than a week after New Year’s Day. It replaces last year’s A13 5G as the company’s affordable 5G phone and is now available in Nepal.     Not a lot has changed in the design aspect — Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has a notched display like its predecessor.     For starters, Google introduced Nearby Share for Android in 2020 as a quick and easy way to share files between Android devices. It quickly gained popularity as there was no hassle to install third-party apps to share files, to and from one’s device. Now the service is officially available in Windows, though currently in beta stage.

    To use it, users must enable Bluetooh and WiFi on both the PC and phone. And its UI and features are nearly identical to those of the phone’s Nearby Share. Like in Android phone, you can manage your device visibility to everyone, to your contacts, to your own devices only, or to nobody at the moment.

    Until and unless you choose the last option, you have two options to share a file. Either you can drag and drop the file to the Nearby Share app. Or you can right-click on the file and select the Nearby Share option.

    Meizu is back on the smartphone scene with the new Meizu 20 series, the company’s flagship model for 2023. The series comprises three models: Meizu 20, Meizu 20 Pro, and Meizu 20 Infinity. So let’s get into the specs, features, and expected price of the Meizu 20 Series in Nepal here.

    Meizu 20 Series Overview:

    It’s been quite a while since Meizu launched a flagship smartphone. The company’s last entry in this space was Meizu 18s Pro which debuted with Snapdragon 888+ SoC in Sept 2021. Now, after more than a year of break, the company has launched the Meizu 20 series.

    It’s a lineup of flagship phones, thus bringing Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip inside. The chip is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage for the vanilla and Pro variants. While the Infinity model gets up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

    Meizu has also used vapor chamber cooling on all three devices for heat dissipation. As for the software, the phones boot on Meizu’s Flyme 10 OS which brings a new interface design, called “Alive Design.”

    Design 

    Moving on, the entire lineup boasts a flat-frame metallic housing design for sturdiness. The rear panel has a vertically aligned camera layout, similar to the ones on Galaxy S23. On the front side, there is a hole punch panel on the Meizu 20 series but the Infinity model as the name implies, bears slimmer 2.48mm borders on all four sides.

The vanilla Meizu 20 model has a Full HD+ 6.55-inch screen as compared to 2K resolution 6.79 and 6.81-inch panels on the Meizu 20 Infinity and Meizu 20 Pro respectively. Interestingly the Meizu 20 supports a 144Hz refresh rate while the Inifinity and Pro siblings settle with a 120Hz refresh rate instead.

    Meanwhile, only the Infinity and Pro feature the LTPO technology, making the refresh rate variable from 1Hz to 120Hz while the vanilla model misses out on this. Similarly, the peak brightness is 1800 nits for the formers and 800 nits for the latter ones. And you get Corning Gorillas Glass Victus protection on all three phones.

    The Meizu 20 series sports a triple-camera setup across the board. The vanilla model equips a 50MP main, 16MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro snapper. Meanwhile, the Pro sibling goes with 50MP resolution for all primary, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras.

    And the Infinity variant consists of a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 12MP telephoto shooters. Likewise, OIS stabilization is present on the main cameras of all three models. Upfront, you get a 32MP selfie snapper on the Meizu 20 series.

    The Meizu 20 Pro gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. While the Infinity and vanilla models rely on a 4800mAh (65W) and 4700mAh (67W) battery respectively. Nevertheless, the Pro and Infinity siblings also support 50W wireless charging.

    Other connectivity features include 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. You also get a dual stereo speaker and an under-display fingerprint reader on all three smartphones.
